surprised at how common this is actually
i disliked all shipping (and fictional romance in general) until the age of about 16
and often heard other ace and/or aro folks similarly annoyed at ships (and this view never changed for them)
so I just thought something weird had happened to me when I started to enjoy it a little
but a bunch of folks I met specifically from enjoying a ship are aroaces
i am curious about the reasons. the statistics. maybe someone should do a survey on this or something
anyway i like when i feel like a deranged scientist dissecting the relationships of fictional characters its pretty good
and i apologise to all the non-shipping fellow aces that i may have bothered in becoming this way (there are at least two)
I spent a long time avoiding posting shippy stuff even when i was making a lot of it but. idk i might just stop caring sometime
and post it anyway
