ok, following this theory (made in partnership with my colleague @sparkbeast20, thank you sparks).
We can say that demons and angels can and do have a system of "life" after death.
Look, think with me, we know from annon that demons and angels have a perspective on life and that they are in fact not immortal, a fact disclosed in several lessons and proven later when we almost lost one of them (*cough thanks thirteen*cough).
However, it was never said what happens to their "soul" when they die (or if it was said then I don't remember).
Following the concept of magic = soul energy/spirit = energy, we can conceptualize that demons and angels (*cough lilith *cough ) somehow have a "soul"/spirit.
With that in mind we can assume that the "life"/death of demons/angels follows a cycle
(Brain: Presents the image of Diavolo holding Luke on his castle balcony performing to the people below while playing endless loop in the background*.
me: shut up)
ahem....where this "energy" does not dissipate anymore and is reused transforming into something else (based on the law of physics), however the result of this transformation will be equivalent to the level of power that the demon / angel has in life.
for example a Little D can transform into an animal or a plant native to devildom, while the demon king I believe that when he dies he becomes one of the layers that separate devildom from the literal "hell" thus maintaining the role as ruler/protector of his people.
another idea would be that when a demon/angel dies another one is "born" taking its place, this new demon/angel possesses the same/or a part of the energy of the demon/angel that died.

We know that in the first few lessons lucifer chooses mammon as our guardian even though he and the others explicitly say what a scoundrel he is, which initially is something out of context since according to him he gives the notion that he cares deeply about the program, so why would he choose from all the brothers the one who is most hated?
Further on, there is a situation in which he (lucifer) says that mammon is the one he trusts the most, in addition, we realize during the game that even though mammon is the one who most falls into his sin he is the only demon among his brothers that worries about mc since the beginning of the game.
Even though he threatens and claims mammon is the only one of the brothers who maintains control over the human even if he is not close to it.
Why this? because he is his human!
Okay before you start cursing me and objecting to this thing a little bit, remember my conversation with Spark about the 7 Ogs, remember I said that the previous greed avatar was protective of its people?
Well, it was no secret that the demons of greed are terr protectors and excellent guardians of their precious things they do this so much it became the primordial instinct of this demonic class, knowing that lucifer delivered the human to the avatar of greed because he was relying on his instinct to keep his precious one safe, yeah he was right the first moment he saw the human he started to bully (*cough court*cough) the same he (lucifer) just needed a touch final to remind mammon of the consequences of his failure (punch scene).
ok before you tell me that he was not a great guardian at first because he left mc with Levi, you must remember that mammon knew his brothers and their character and knew that the same (Levi) would not kill the human, in fact, he was relying on the idea of psychological terror to put the human on the line because he despises all his brothers and he knows about the nature of humans and understands how curious and stubborn we are.
So what's the best way to keep a little human in line so he doesn't end up killing himself for some stupid reason? put the said human in contact with a hostile demon (nerd) whose anger can easily be deterred.
Bonus if the said human is as nerdy as the demon, then he doesn't have to worry 24/7 that the human will die around the corner since the Demonerd will try to protect his little human friend.
With that in mind, everyone wins, and if something goes wrong he can just show up and save the day, since he's secretly spying on the human and I'll talk about that in part 2, making the human realize that he was the only one there. save it and keep it close to it.
He is not a saint ok, mammon is a demon of greed, this class is also very good at manipulating and knows how to find flaws in contracts/commands, lucifer ordered him to watch over the human's life, not his sanity.
that's why i love him so much he is the most human of the brothers, among all the brothers he is the only one that is the least toxic, you can always count on your natural instincts not to damage your treasure😘. but remember beware of the "quiet".
although he is sweet and braggart, we have to be careful because if he stays quiet and because something is very wrong and the shit is about to hit the fan, when that happens we must be careful not to fall into the crossfire or worse make him lower the guard because we are in the danger zone.

I have a firm belief that the brothers have managed to retain certain abilities from their former forms, even if they are few.
for example and annon that Luci "created"/"gave birth" to a sentient being, something that is extremely difficult for a demon since its magic/essence is geared towards destruction while the angels towards creation.
I also believe that in some sisters these same capacities are what keep them from falling completely into their sin.
Besides, I forgot to mention that compared to the sin of greed, lust is a sin that acts like a fast-acting poison, whoever falls into this sin ends up getting addicted to it and can hardly fight it without having serious consequences in their spirit.

One thing that stuck in my mind in the first moments of Mc's contact with 4 brothers in the intro was the famous phrase that Satan spoke after Mc had resisted Asmo's gaze.
With a bit of research in diverse texts, I realized that there is a certain tendency to demons with lust.

this leads me to develop my 2 theories.
Those who read my theory with Spark about the 7 Og may remember that the pre- Diavolo society/demon brothers, had a behavior similar to the barbaric societies of the human realm.
Observing the barbaric acts of ancient society we can see that the lusts of lust tend to follow the patterns of the ancient rulers of great enormous have an immeasurable amount of wives/husbands of various races and different shapes.
When I say the avatars of lust, I'm not talking about having more than one avatar, but that the time of permanence of this avatar in power is short since he always died in those of his companion in his moment of weakness.
Asmo may have been the brother who had a harder time climbing the channel than his other siblings as the latter could be so necessary to demonstrate his resilience in pleasure.

I have a theory that sloth demons are asexual and reproduce from night terrors/broken human minds
... do you think Diavolo could produce a demon from his emotions like Lucifer did? Because that would hilarious.
I have my own personal opinions on Satan's origins that would put my answer at 'probably not' however, his canon origins required at the very least:
Strong emotion (in Satan's case, Wrath).
Removing a part of himself (Lucifer's six angelic wings).
Lucifer was also undergoing a transformation from an angel into a demon at the time, though how relevant that was is unclear.
So maybe Diavolo could, but he might have to give up a wing or a horn or something for it.
I remembered that Levi has a hobby of creating cosplay and after watching a certain program I thought how beautiful Asmo would look in a RWBY cosplay
Does this prejudice exist? here in Brazil we don't have that, in fact, we accept intercultural relationship and such... the mix of culture/races is our problem and more in the income differential than in the skin color.
How do I explain to you people that interracial relationships are okay
Not every white person dating a POC is fetishizing. White people can be respectful and responsible when it comes to culture and relationships and not everyone has bad intentions.
Asian people can date Black people without you saying shit like “your kids will be so pretty” they’re not dating for pretty kids. They’re dating bc they like each other.
Someone can dress their partner in clothing from their culture if they want. Someone can take their partner to cultural events if they want.
People in relationships can share cultures, experiences and love without it being toxic or skin deep.

Yeah, dating someone from your culture is nice bc you automatically have similar experiences. But you’re not limited to dating people with the same experiences. Loving someone is sharing and growing and being together.

cupid can i give you an idea? don't change the plot of the original too much, instead assemble it as if it were a fic based on cannon… what you can do differently is create a relationship bar.. This bar can be separated into 3 types with different colors.. 1-In the beginning, the bar could be gray (neutral) and after a certain percentage (10%) it could take on a blue tone (friendship)… 2-bar could be pink that gets a reddish tone when it reaches 100% this bar would be romance. 3-Black (enemy bar) Each of these bars shows how the character's behavior will be in contact with you… although I don't like it very much you could create a secret route aimed at the yanderes like the original Yuu and someone without magic and who is always in danger the character with the highest percentage of the dating bar can end up being territory (slightly yandere) with the player. ..

2. THE APP DOES NOT REQUIRE DOWNLOADING. I’ve self checked this and it does not require downloading, it works on any browser in the form of a link.
3. THE AU MODE! the au mode will take the aspects of their character and reinvent it into a plot. Well at least that’s what me and my big words are going for.

With all this in mind, I developed some theories The basis of it all is that all the demons of laziness are partially or completely Psychic and that the entire culture of the demons of this class is oriented towards the psychic plane. Have you ever noticed that belphie was always more attentive to her brothers' behavior? even sleeping did he still feel "the mood" in the room? although he was bel the most observant of the twins i believe belphie is the one who can feel the atmosphere around him. This is possibly the result of his dream (mind) manipulation abilities, but as an avatar of sloth he is too apathetic to do anything about these sensations. My second theory is that the sloth-class demons were the torturers and interrogators in the period of war with the heavenly realm. Although they didn't have the energy in their body to actively fight the celestial realm, I believe that this particular class attacked the minds of their opponents, tiring them and even not letting them sleep when they retreated. How the hell did they play dirty, why would you throw yourself against an opponent armed and clearly in his strongest state, expending an unnecessary amount of energy, resources and time, when you can take him down in his weakest and most vulnerable state? I got something from that, there is another name for the demons of laziness, in other cultures they are known as demons of the heart, demons of the mind or the best known in today's society…. Night terrors. with that I had 2 epphanies, the first was that as a society focused on mind control, like torturers and interrogators, the function of the demons of laziness in the demonic society after the war against humanity was to drive humans crazy. and with that I thought of something, what if the way the demons of laziness chose their avatars was nothing more and nothing less than that? because of that the heavenly realm created specialists to guard the minds of humans, every nightmare was fought by dreams, every fear was protected by courage, every hate was thwarted by love.
I can't quite remember what his function was, that was said in the cannon, but I believe that belphie was one of the main beings to fight these demons, and he was possibly an expert in this matter. That's why I believe he was the first among the brothers to assume the position of avatar of sloth, because the test is to destroy the greatest amount of human minds quickly, simply, effectively without being detected. He was newly fallen, had just lost his sister, his position and possibly his freedom, because of Luci's oath, simply because his beloved sister fell in love with a human…. Wounded, guilty and with great hatred, he knew the strategy of his enemies, before his family, and he knew their methods of intervention, their strategies and their movements. Within 24 hours of signing up there was a new sloth avatar.
mammon will take advantage of all this to make a profit. From trying to get a picture of a diavolo stuck in a pickle barrel to trying to charge himself a bodyguard. I said try because luci discovered all this before the first stage. Luci: MAMMOOON! Mammy: YIKES!!! *run

Mammon, Satan and Belphie: Yes!
Levi and Asmo: No!

I'm ignorant in this kind of tradition could someone explain it to me? Where I come from when a blade would serve for decoration or simply (depending on whether or not the person who gave it knows how to maneuver it) a sign that he will teach you to use it in defense. It also signals that he/she trusts you to know how to defend himself or even defend him/her if the need arises.

"Trouble in paradise?"
Barbatos glances at the younger demon, needing a moment to remember what that phrase meant.
"Mc hasn't been talking to me."
"Hm? I thought things were going so well?" Satan continues, obviously glad to have found a new distraction from the boring lesson.
"I must have misunderstood," Barbatos responds flatly, seemingly accepting his fate and broken heart.
Satan furrows his brows, feeling his detective senses tingling. There must be a reason for your behavior, particularly because he remembers the hearts in your eyes whenever you and Asmodeus gushed over your crushes. From the beginning on, yours was always Barbatos.
He starts questioning the butler, asking for the details of their latest interactions.
"... and the gift was the last thing I gave them before they started ignoring me," Barbatos finishes his summary of your whole time dating while walking to lunch with Satan.
The fourth born closely listens as he tries to fit the puzzle pieces together in his mind.
"What kind of gift did you give mc?" he asks, feeling like there's only a small fragment left before it all makes sense.
"A very fine blade, colored in mc's favorite hue. I thought they'd appreciate the meaning it holds."
Satan stops dead in his tracks, finally having found the underlying problem. He shakes his head while laying his hand over Barb's shoulder, quickly explaining the meaning of gifting sharp objects to humans.
Barbatos pauses for a long second, his eyes filling with subtle horror.
"I see..."
Satan immidiately offers his help, which Barbatos gladly accepts, feeling insecure about his knowledge of human customs now. Satan starts working on a plan as soon as he arrives home, researching human traditions and mores and documenting everything he can.
Barbatos is happy to receive his notes the next day, studying them thoroughly and making a plan to win you back and clear up the misunderstanding.
The demon is confident in the letter he wrote and the white moonshine tulips, which he places on your doorstep, slight nervousness haunting him as he leaves the HOL unseen, hoping to have you back in his arms as soon as possible.
