Book!Annabeth: Was not there to witness Luke’s betrayal and was only told about it by Percy after Percy was poisoned.

Show!Annabeth: Front row seat in watching Luke, her surrogate brother, hurt Percy, her friend who she deeply cares about, and hearing that it was him who almost caused the war.

The show really wants to put Annabeth through the wringer. First, her mother stopped caring for her which made her trust Poseidon, a.k.a her mom’s rival, and now this! All in the first season!

Hc that though youre a half-blood of a Greek God, it doesn't mean you can't stick to your religion and your beliefs.

Hc that Malcom is Desi and is Hindu (i need some representation in the riordanverse because Aru Shah is not getting it's due) and that he's so sick of the Olympians and a very strict devotee to Narayan (also is a huge fan) and drags Annabeth into his shit.

Now Annabeth after all the crud she went through esp after MoA has lost mostly all respect for her mom and the other Olympians besides Hestia and strictly gets into the Hindu religion and their ways through her brother and they have inside jokes on it. Especially after the mess of the great epics and the craze that is Hindu mythology in Tumblr.
