Sure:

Maybe they’re heavy-handed, so a simple pat on the back jolts the whumpee, causing more pain. Maybe they try and rub the whumpees leg, but that’s where they’re bruised most. 

“It could be worse.”

“At-least it’s not…”

“Reminds of the time I [got a minor injury]”

“I told you so!”

“What hurts the worse - where can I touch you?”

“Do you want some water?”

“I think it might be best if you sit up.”

“Maybe we should move you over there.”
