quick thoughts that I have at mind in night: it makes me fucking mad how the writers handled Marcel and Klaus relationship.

Klaus was practically his father, and both Marcel and Klaus (and even Elijah) said a thousands of times they saw each other as father and son, because that's what they are.

But yet they practically were at each others throat 24/7. The Mikaelson (my baby girls all of them, except Mikael and Esther, they can rot) treated him like some outsider but welcomed Hayley (also my baby girl) with open arms.

(Not exactly tho, but you get my point. I could go on a whole speech about how the Mikaelson only see people they share blood with as family)

And I completely adore Hope, but why was she more important to Klaus than Marcel??? It's pushing the whole "bio kid is more important and loved that the adopted one" down our throats.

Also, I'm so mad they didn’t even get a goodbye scene in season 5. Fucking Caroline, his one night stand did, but not his own son?

I still maintain that that in s1, Caroline was the one treating Bonnie like shit and Bonnie was just not taking it.

I get being upset about Bonnie not being invited to the Mikaelson ball, but here you go once again, blaming Caroline for a choice the writer's made, something she had no part of. People are getting weird AF with their anti Caroline stance and it's getting ridiculous.

Does it upset me that Bonnie wasn't invited to the ball? Yes. Does Caroline being there make me mad? No. Do I think she shouldn't have come? Yes, I certainly think so.

I complained about Caroline and Matt being there because plot wise it was absolutely stupid and it made no sense. They didn't add absolutely nothing to the events developing there, and their presence was completely unneeded: Caroline and Matt were there solely because of Klaus and Rebekah/delena. This was the moment the showrunners decided to start writing klaroline, exclusively and only because the fans liked their first scene together, so they decided to have her going to the ball just to have their "romance" developing, which made no sense for her at all;

Klaus literally tried to kill her a few episodes prior, he had Tyler bite her on her birthday leaving her on the brink of death and then he showed up to heal her. Where is her self-preservation? Wasn't she scared of him at all?

It's funny to me that she only accepted to go because of Rebekah inviting Matt. Did she thought he was in potential danger? Did she decide to go to try to protect him? I get she was worried about her friend, but this is slightly strange.

Matt was just there for Rebekah and to make Damon and Elena fight because of his altercation with Kol, nothing else, and his presence and the issue he caused wasn't that serious because they made up an episode later. Why would he go? He was a human on a house full of the oldest vampires to ever live, and he was aware of this. I'm aware Matt isn't the brightest person to walk the earth, but everybody knows a human shouldn't be around bloodthirsty vampires.

Again, just stupid. Caroline and Matt shouldn't have been at the ball, that's all. Elena and the Salvatore going made sense: she was the doppelgänger, Stefan had story with them and Damon wouldn't allow her to go anywhere without any of them.

Bonnie, however, had every single reason to be there:

She was Ayana's descendant.

Esther would want to meet a Bennett witch, seeing she was best friends with one once and she knew they were powerful allies.

She had been more close than anyone to killing Klaus: the fact that he didn't try to seduce her or try to kill her was ooc, especially because he befriended witches before klaroline came in.

Kol loved witches and this bitch knows everything about everyone. It surprises me that he didn't try to get her on his side or at least use her to try to take down any member of his family.

The Bennett bloodline is far more powerful in magic terms than any other family could ever be, their blood was needed for like half of the most powerful spells and the fact that not a single person thought about getting on Bonnie's good side is completely stupid.

What is ridiculous is that people dickride 3x14 to hell because of the fanservice. I love this episode, but calling out it's flaws it's not a bad thing.

This whole 'Bonnie and Elena deserved better' shit started because y'all were mad that Caroline got the happy ending she deserved and for some reason that's not allowed. Caroline wasn't a bad friend, they were. Bonnie was going to cut her out entirely when she was turned into a vampire against her will. Elena constantly put people above her. If anyone deserved better, it was her.

I don't know where to start with this one so I'm gonna just. go through it quickly.

Bonnie deserved better on a grander scale than just in the happy ending regard, although I'm glad you're acknowledging what she got wasn't a happy ending.

Caroline's ending is happy? Her husband is dead and chose to save his nasty ass brother AND his ex girlfriend over living with her, her baby daddy ruined her school because she was off being an absentee mother no matter HOW you spin it, one of her daughters got turned into a heretic and the other she will presumably outlive, the love of her life (her own words in reference to Tyler) is dead and so is the guy she shook down for money sometimes. She will also go on to outlive Bonnie and Elena. But at least she's alive...?

Caroline was a terrible friend to everyone at one point or another, but special shout out goes to her being completely oblivious or willfully ignorant to Bonnie's feelings as far as Stefan was concerned after he murdered Bonnie's boyfriend in front of her, and to her constantly betraying Elena's trust in the name of Stefan.

Bonnie had trauma with vampires. And Caroline had just killed someone. Whether she could control herself or not, Bonnie witnessed that in some part. How dare she have complicated feelings on the matter?

Let's be serious here. Who was Elena supposed to put Caroline above? Jeremy, her little brother? Bonnie, her actual best friend? By the time she even got to the point she was putting Damon (because, let's face it, that's who you mean) above Caroline, Caroline was doing the same shit with Stefan. Piss up a rope. The only thing Caroline deserved was to get her ass beat at least once a season.

But Klaus and Caroline would love each other so much, she'd become queen of New Orleans and they would have magical tribrid babies after having tree sex 🥺🥺🥺

I'm kinda tired for Caroline being labelled as the best girlfriend in the world and no one being worthy of her except one (Klaus)…

Again, SHE TURNED OFF HER HUMANITY AFTER HER MOTHER'S DEATH, SHE DID NOT DO THE BEST DECISION TOO, BUT NOBODY SAID THEY ARE DONE WITH HER, she had still her door opened. Sorry, but Caroline did not give a sh!t about his mental health. But she's the one who felt mistreated, she was the one who was mad and slept with the one who tormented all of them, just because Tyler did not have the strenght to move on yet. "Not a villain of my story". Sorry, but the one who does this to people I love is maybe not a villain of my story, but I'm not gonna shag him. Do not even let me start how season five of The Originals sugarcoated all previous events. It's fine when you are ok with the past, but srsly, this is not the case. Klaus left dead bodies of people Caroline knew, he almost killed people closest to her, he tortured a man she loved, he tortured her best friends and traumatized them in worst way possible, he almost killed her two times, almost sacrificed her, said into her face he will kill her boyfriend, watched her dying in pain.

Tyler was not a perfect boyfriend. But Caroline definitely was not a perfect girlfriend. Sorry, if she loved him that much, why she was so fast done with their relationship and hopped on a dick of someone who she did not even love? Just because she felt hurt, that Tyler's world doesn't just revolve around her? Because she wanted her scandalous sex? Everyone says how it's all about her feelings for Klaus, but it always strikes me as part of the post-breakup sulking.

I’m so sorry about the hate you’re getting for not liking a fictional character on a vampire show. People need to realize that it isn’t that serious. Caroline’s feelings aren’t hurt because she’s not real. She is just a character. Wishing death on someone all because they don’t like your favorite character is insane and cowardly. Caroline sleeping with Klaus was a betrayal, just as much as of a betrayal as Elena getting with Damon after everything Damon did to her friends. Of course, Tyler, who was terrorized by Klaus, would be angry that Caroline slept with him. People love to bash Tyler for his reasonable reaction to finding out the woman he loves just slept with the man who killed his mom. People defend Caroline for sleeping with Klaus (which fine - she can sleep with anyone she wants), but at the same time, Tyler had every reason to react badly to the news.

I hate that people bash Tyler for slut-shaming Caroline but go on to applaud Caroline for doing the same thing to every other women on the show. And I find it really telling that many of Caroline/Klaus shippers are the same people who will call Hayley a wereslut, will refer to Cami as a dumb bimbo, and will label Aurora as a crazy whore. So it’s awful for Tyler to slut-shame Caroline, but she’s so iconic, powerful, and a girl boss for doing the same thing to every other girl on the show.

And this isn’t me defending Tyler or praising him. I don’t like Tyler, especially after what he did to Vicki. But even I got to admit, he reacted to Caroline and Klaus like how many people would.

It's crazy because Tyler didn't even slut-shame Caroline, he was just rightfully angry and repeatedly told her to respect his boundaries and get out of his house, but Caroline's hurt ego was always stronger than what people wanted her to do.

Caroline slept with the same man who murdered Jenna, Elena, Tyler and Carol, and who nearly assaulted her just because she felt attracted to him and wanted him to fuck her. Then, once Tyler found out and didn't react the way she wanted him to, she literally told him to get over it or to get out of her life. She told him to get over the fact she slept with his mother's killer, or he would have to leave her life.

Caroline is the biggest slut-shamer in the show and I wouldn't have minded to see Tyler slut-shame her for once, because this girl did it to literally everyone she was jealous of.

Her fans (klaroline fans, to be honest) are so weird about it too. If Rebekah had killed Liz and Tyler had slept with her, the fandom would absolutely drag him, even more than they already do.

Well, it guess it's karma her husband, ex boyfriend and the guy she liked because he sent her money sometimes are all dead. But knowing Caroline, she'll just find someone else eventually, she was constantly dating and she is immortal, after all.

It really does not make Caroline look good as a character that she has a whole arc demanding people to respect her grief when she could not do the same literally a season prior.
