Anti Koga - Tumblr Posts

I merely disliked Koga from the original Inuyasha because I despise romantically and/or sexually aggressive men. I don’t need to be reminded of the trash behaviour of the kind of entitled manbabies you know IRL. You know, the kind of douchebags who go “Where’s my hug”? The whole running gag of calling Kagome “his woman” or whatever the fuck got real old quick.

Also what exactly was Koga good for? He dressed like ass, he fought like ass. He probably smelled like ass too. Give me sweaty headbands and legwarmers never. He was good at running fast and sucking I guess.

I can’t believe there are people who think of Pedomaru as a deadbeat dad without recognising that Yashahime Koga is ALSO a deadbeat dad. Let’s have equal opportunity callouts here.

Pedomaru was absolute trash to his biological children; he failed as a father on ALL levels. If I need to explain why, you shouldn’t be reading this post.

That said, let’s not forget the fucking fact that a child was placed in Koga’s care and he just fobbed her off on someone else. This child was the baby of his prior love interest and his friend/rival (?) and he shoved her on some random asshole in his tribe.

He let this child be sold into debt slavery and AFAIK, never checked in on her. No idea about her wellbeing. No clue if she lived or died. He let a fucking teenager get into monumental debt thanks to his utter lack of care/fucks and never stepped in.

Koga was a blockhead and a hothead. He could’ve killed her creditor, honestly, if he wanted. God knows he wouldn’t have better solutions. But nope. All through Yashahime, Koga was an absent father too. No, Moroha was not his biological child. But he was asked to be responsible for her wellbeing and he utterly failed as a foster father.

If he didn’t want to raise Kagome’s child, then he should’ve turned Moroha away from the beginning. Let Hachiemon seek out better parents for a defenceless fucking baby. He accepted the role of being someone’s parent and then proceeded to not fulfil it in any way.

And this is the character people are praising? For fuck’s sake.

Just because nobody in Yashahime has standards doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have standards too. Come on.

Fuck Koga honestly. Disliked him in Inuyasha and turns out I now hate him in Yashahime.
