oh my fucking god. My thoughts and metaphorical prayers go out to trans men and mascs who think like that person. When hatred towards men and masculinity goes so far that even those affected negatively by it espouse and even indulge in it themselves, you know it's bad.

There was a person in the transmasc tags who just posted that their friends would use he/him more for him (who uses they/he) when they were upset with OP, because it was easier to be mad at a he than a they, and that OP understood the thought process. And it was treated like a joke by OP, but it just made me so uncomfortable because like ??? Why on earth would someone’s pronouns make it easier to be mad at them, and why would OP think that it was okay to post that in the transmasc tags, full of people who use those pronouns sets.

Jesus. That's so fucked up. The level of internet brainrot that leads to this kind of thing...

full offense, some of y'all heard 'dismantle toxic masculinity' and took it as 'dismantle masculinity' and it shows.
