I feel cringe and upsetting very often. That makes me want to apologize and go away and be sad. However, it is just too impowering to not give half a fuck and just BE. It matters so much to be able to believe myself when I say "it isn't so serious that you need to feel this badly about it"
I think I just found an anxiety hack
Here's some context first: The usual recommendation is to "take a deep breath" but I would always have to force myself just a little too much to stay relaxed. This made it difficult to get the calming affect that I was trying to get in the first place For SOME REASON pushing my tongue to the roof of my mouth makes it so I can comfortably take a deeper breath and easier. This is just really neat and useful so I wanted to share. Try it now since you're already manually breathing
