This batch of mead had been fermenting for the past three months. She'd picked additives that would be very specifically "fall", like cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. The result would (hopefully) be a sweet spiced wine, perfect for having warm in the cooler months-- she had another batch still in the works with cranberries and mulling spices for the winter months.

She took an experimental sip and couldn't help the grin and delighted giggle that escaped her. Perfect!
