"Confess? Al...riiight... um." His mind was immediately racing, but he tried to play it cool. There was no way Stolas knew about his recent illegal activities--probably--so this was probably just something fun. Right? Right! Which meant that everything was absolutely fine.

Blitz scooped him up, plopped down on the couch, and snuggled Stolas in close against himself, touching their noses together. "Alright, baby. I confess to fantasizing about..." There was no mistaking just how suggestive his voice was, or the look in his eyes. For a moment there, anyone watching would be right to say he was about to spout of something absolutely filthy... but instead, he wrapped his tail around Stolas's lower legs, pulled a blanket down over both of their heads, and--

"Confess to kidnapping you to my fortress. Of solitude. Some may say it's a couch fort, but they're fucking idiots," he rambled, scritching his claws into Stolas's neck feathers lovingly. After a moment, Blitz gave a deeply contented sigh, closed his eyes, and got a little more serious.

"A real confession.. I don't wanna live without you again. Never again. You--you go. Your own way. Do whatever you want in your life. Whatever you need. But I'll always be here. For when you... if you. Ever decide to come home. To," fuck, why was his face so hot, "to me."

Thank Satan it was dark under the blanket... except, fuck. Stolas probably could see just as well in the dark as he could in the light, couldn't he? Blitz hid his blush against the man's feathery neck, sighing again. This was good. This was contentment. Being here. Together. Even if it was only for a little while.
