April Art Challenge (Day 9: Favorite tv show) Gargoyles

I’m an obsessor, I flit around from show to show typically and while it may have been a good opportunity to show off my current favorite I went for the show that I can return to time and again and still love like it was the first time. These three dorks in particular make me happy every time I see them.

April Art Challenge (Day 22: Something you miss) Childhood

When we were kids a few of us would wander into the woods near our street and climb up onto half fallen branches and ride them like they were horses. It was very satisfying that they could “gallop” when you pressed down on them a bit and bounced (never mind that in hindsight it’s a wonder they didn’t break altogether and send us tumbling to the ground with splinters).

This was me coming back to this piece from a while ago to finish off. A little study of a couple of characters and cute expressions. There was a little bit of a story to it, but it was so long ago I started sketching that I forgot.
