Has your OC ever been the subject of a wanted or missing poster?

because she goes off to prove the chosen one thing is bullshit and forgets to tell anyone where she's going
in her defense dealing with the chosen one is Like That^tm

he doesn't really get a poster but it's a Big Thing when the currently nameless bad guy takes him
to be fair that's way in the future of this story so please excuse the fact that the Great Evil of the story is currently nameless

Which OC is the unstoppable force, and which OC is the immovable object?

is an unstoppable force--girl literally becomes a god then gives up the power to make sure humanity gets equal access to magic
bc she's trying to rectify the mistakes of a selfish god and the effect it has on inequality around their world
not that it's her job to fix his mistakes--but she sees the consequences and decides she will be a better god than he ever was
plus she's a brilliant magician in her own right--and she doesn't want to give up her humanity
ultimately she's the only person capable of absorbing that much power and then letting it go to benefit the people she loves
and so she grows past the need to prove herself--she knows her worth and she doesn't need to prove it to anyone
basically it's somewhere between sacrificing power and preserving herself/the person she wants to be

is somewhat of an immovable object
she protects her people first and foremost and gods help you if you cross her
kingdoms have tried everything to get rid of her but she's so good at inspiring loyalty that it never works
the best they've managed is to drive her off the main continent--but they can't kill her influence

How open is your OC about themselves and their past? Are they more likely to volunteer information, or to wait until asked?

is pretty open about her past once she trusts you
and to be trustworthy you basically just gotta be a decent person in her eyes
she's quick to note selfishness or other qualities she condemns
and it's hard to shift her perception of you once she's established it--briadoc the chosen one can attest to that
she'll volunteer information if it's relevant
but other than that you kinda have to ask if you want to know something specific
riko is my girl w/o a tragic backstory--her characterization is just 'i give a shit bc i give a shit'
and she goes about life aggressively giving a shit
costia sparowen
keeps everything to herself
good luck getting her to open up
she doesn't trust readily--she'll be pleasant and all but you really have to work to get to know her
riko doesn't so much break down those walls as quietly and persistently encourage her to take them down
arodryn
also keeps shit to himself
mostly he's terrified of being a burden or having people view him as anything other than perfectly palatablee

so he doesn't volunteer information about his past and he will typically redirect attention if someone asks
callaic kinda breaks down those walls throughout the story--much to arodryn's confusion bc he has no idea how it happens
callaic
keeps things to himself for most of his life--he's the epitome of the snarky emotionally repressed teenager for a while
but after he grows a little he starts to open up and realize that he's not bound to his past
and he can grow from mistakes
of course his problems from then on are that he doesn't often trust people with himself
hmm... i think arodryn and callaic are starting to be a little too similar so i might adjust their characterization
or maybe i'll play up how similar they feel but how differently they react
and the different reasons they feel the same way

ynyra is also an elf though she's a secondary character

is temporarily immortal when she absorbs the magic of a dying god
though she gives it up and returns to humanity

concept: elves are supernaturally good at everything ONLY because they live to be bonkers old and if you were hot and sexy for thousands of years you’d be kickass at archery and treeclimbing and horseback riding too. but like there’s 20 year old elves out there that are just straight dumbasses who can’t do shit.
concept: non-elves can’t tell the 20 year old elves apart from the 2000 year old elves
concept: there’s a 20 year old elf in your tavern and he’s counting on this

and arodryn is constantly trying to convince you that he's Much Older really
also yeah i like the idea that elves aren't like inherently good at shit but just have lived so long they've had time to practice
briadoc: 'callaic here's a bow! shoot that guy before he goes out of range'
callaic (who has never touched a bow in his life): 'you want me to what now'

briadoc: 'ah arodryn. tell me about the last great war.'
arodryn (who definitely wasn't there but has memorized stories from older elves): 'i don't like to talk about it... but i suppose
i could share the basics'
(proceeds to embellish a story he read in the elven archive)
briadoc: 'incredible'
meanwhile varendryr's like 'if you even /think/ i'm over 300 i'll skin you' when he's a solid 1200 years old

What is your OC like in the calm before the storm?

hmm... gonna focus on the high fantasy story for this one
callaic grows serious--his laser focus kinda makes people afraid of him at times
briadoc gets cocky--he doesn't always feel that way but he wants you to think he's invincible (and tries to convince himself that he is)
riko is kinda like a mix between callaic and briadoc--she's serious but she's also trying to psych people out with her confidence
arodryn either gets really quiet (he does this when afraid) or tries to ignore his own worries by comforting others
costia looks for ways to dispel nervous energy--she's always found comfort in crafting so you might find her forging a new blade

oc questions: ice (and suffering) edition
It’s a wintery day and your OCs are out for a walk. OC1 suddenly slips on some ice and falls on their butt. The other OCs notice.
Which OC…
winces in sympathy?
runs over to help but ends up slipping as well?
just facepalms and sighs?
manages to actually help OC1 to their feet?
records the whole thing and posts it online or on snapchat?
records the whole thing and keeps it as blackmail?
tries to hide their laughter behind their hands?
laughs their head off before asking “are you okay??” in a still giggly voice?
laughs so hard that they fall as well?
suggests that they just wear ice skates next time?
