Do any other artists out there who draw hazbin hotel fanart absolutely STRUGGLE with drawing Husk?? Like is it just me?

hands are so hard to draw for no reason,, man i just wanna draw something for my boyfriends birthday

Ok, yeah. Maybe the character's curl pattern is wildly different every time I draw them, but I wake up each day with my curls doing whatever they damn please, so I'm just being realistic here.

Currently in the denial stage of learning to draw curls.

I think I crashed my drawing program with TMA fanart (too many eyes, probably) xD getting there though...

Sometimes being an artist is amazing

I can make what I want when I want no matter how dumb it is and have fun

Being bullied into completing tasks isn't enough I need to get tortured like it's a JigSaw trap.

I swear I’m starting to see a trend…I once more decided mid way into his model sheet to change his design😩(I’m not doing this on purpose)

For now here is Rasalas’s new design. Despite loving his previous design I like this one more. This clever bobcat is looking much cooler!

So I decided one redesign wasn’t enough. On top of changing Rasalas’s design I decided literally today to change his species entirely! (Isn’t creativity fun?)

I decided I wanted to change him from a bobcat, to a pallas cat. For reference it’s this fluff ball of a cat:

Unfortunately this means I have to redesign Rasalas’s design and redo his character sheet…again. I love life😩

Whoa! I foreshadowed this earlier!!! I decided to work on their designs a bit to be a bit more in my style and more refined. Idk why, but Aziraphale’s hair gave me trouble. I am okay with where it is for now. Crowley was surprisingly easy. I draw this hair style on default tbh.

They are very cute and I am happy with how they look together.

Not me already starting another art piece while 2 unfinished pieces stare at me 💀

HOW HARD.

HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A BROWN PENCIL.

So I started colouring this digitally because I'm petty and pissed off that people who make watercolour pencils apparently have no idea how to make a saturated brown pigment, but...

It became a final piece by accident..

I'm not even a digital artist...

God help I have so many art ideas

I'm not making this shit up either, some examples are:

"Dark Light Blue" being the name for a LAVENDAR marker

"Milky White" being the name for what is basically yellow ochre/mustard yellow

"Purple Grey" being the most neon shade of hot pink I have ever seen.

I don't know the exact colour order of the markers when I first got them because tbh the first thing I did when I got them was reorder them, but presumably they were in chronological number order so it'd be something close to maroon, pastel pink, a random green marker, red, dark blue, brown, etc.

Speaking of chronological colour order, I'm not even joking the first 5 markers' numbers discounting the colourless blender (0) are:

2 - Old Red

11 (?? Did you just. Not like 1 or any numbers from 3 - 10??) - Carmine

16 - Coral Pink (again, where are 12 - 15? Having a BBQ?) (Also I should note that this is literally neon red)

17 - Pastel Pink (finally, some consistency)

23 - Orange (oh for FUCK'S SA-)

Despite this they're actually really good markers, but it was probably pretty surreal for my dad to just hear an angry garbled mix of English and French being spoken in an Irish accent on the other side of the wall.

So I have like 3 mini-comic ideas (two fluff, one angst, all fanart) as well as a few other small drawings I wanna make (OC and fanart) and I just. Can't get the poses right?? Gonna start chewing my bedposts in a minute istg

So art block reclaimed me for another few months BUT knock on wood I think it's subsiding. I started a new brainrot page too :)

Hopefully I can get around to doing some of the drawings I said I was gonna do (pokemon teams, fanart, etc) IF GCSEs don't get in the way or if art block doesn't decide to fuck me over again. For now, have a snippet of the freshly started brainrot page :D (feels refreshing to draw in my sketchbook again, last time I added any art to it was January 18th..)
