The Hound of the Baskervilles (or, 'Stop Trying to Make Fetch Happen')
Could this be a hint of what's to come in this week's exciting new adventure..?*
*Mutter mutter still need to finish it mutter mutter hopefully by Friday mutter mutter mutter.

"Really, Mr Holmes, of all the ways you’ve flouted this tenancy agreement, this … doesn’t even rank in the top ten, actually."
New adventures coming soon!

Sorry guys - I was hoping to have a new adventure up today, but I'm feeling so rotten that I actually managed to mess up making myself a bowl of cereal this evening...
BUT new adventures coming soon, honest!

"Really, Mr Holmes, of all the ways you’ve flouted this tenancy agreement, this … doesn’t even rank in the top ten, actually."
(I did warn you it was silly.)
New adventures coming soon!
Get your tinsel ready: there's a new adventure for Mrs Hudson coming this evening and it's full of seasonal silliness.

"Well, actually, I'm a little busy just now with this, er, cup of tea - but I'll send Dr. Watson a telegram. And Inspector Lestrade. Oh, and your brother. I'm sure they'll all want to help and won't laugh at you. Not much, anyway."
Christmas has arrived at Baker Street! Deck the halls, etc etc.
(A big hello to all my new followers! It's lovely to have you around. Pull up a chair, Mrs Hudson's just made some tea. Oh, and don't mind the Hound, he's a big softie really...)
More festive daftness coming soon!

The second bauble-adorned, cracker-pulling, brussels sprout-avoiding, super-duper Christmassy edition of Mrs Hudson arrives tomorrow evening!* It'll be the last adventure for Mrs H until the new year, because quite frankly my fingers will be too fat after over-indulging on mince pies for a fortnight straight to even pick up a pen before then...
(The first Christmas adventure is here, in case you missed it.)
*assuming that the Tumblr app doesn't eat my queue again, as it seems to have done this evening...

Ah yes, the traditional Victorian Christmas feast of beans on toast…
(The goose was released into the wilds of Regents Park on Boxing Day. Some say it can still be seen to this day, confusing tourists by disguising itself as a swan.)
Merry Christmas, everyone! Hope it’s a good’un, however you celebrate it (and if you don’t celebrate it, have an excellent day in any case, you deserve it). Make sure you wear a silly hat. Watch out for the brussel sprouts.
Mrs Hudson will return in the new year…

"BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER!"
Happy birthday, Sherlock Holmes! You don't look a day over 160...

OK, not strictly an update, but - new banner for the app version! I was always bothered by how rubbishy the old one was, so I've spruced it up a wee bit and added a touch of colour.
(Sorry for the lack of new Mrs Hudsons of late. Real Life Stuff is somewhat sapping me of jolliness of late and as a result I've just not been up to it. But please accept the above as a promise that Mrs H and friends will be returning very soon...)
(Also I'm being coerced into setting up a Facebook page for the Adventures so that non-Tumblrers can join in, too - more details when I've actually got it all sorted out.)
Mrs Hudson is now on Facebook!
I have been persuaded to set up a Facebook page for the Adventures of Mrs Hudson, so, er … there it is. The plan is just to post the finished Adventures, with this Tumblr remaining my main ‘art’ blog and Mrs H's official residence. But if you’re over on Facebook it’d be great to see you all there too!

"Oh, alright, you can have one sweetie. But only a green one. I don’t like the green ones.”
Watson + food = my OTP.
Just a quick reminder that you can now find the Adventures of Mrs Hudson over on Facebook, should you feel so inclined.

New adventure arrives this week, just as soon as BT solves the Case of the Missing Internet Connection...

"Right - I’ll distract him, you make a run for it! Save yourself!"
New adventures coming soon! In the meantime, here’s the obligatory reminder that the Adventures of Mrs Hudson are also available in all-new Facebook flavour.
Sorry folks ... it looks like it might be a while before I can actually sit down to draw any new adventures; so in the meantime, here's an oldie. Enjoy!

"BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER!"
Happy birthday, Sherlock Holmes! You don’t look a day over 160…

Lost without his Boswell...
(My headcanons tend towards the ... silly.)
Go on, follow the Adventures of Mrs Hudson on Facebook.

gardnerhill replied to your post: But does Boswell have a magnificent moustache? I don’t think so!
Well, it’s funny you should say that, because sometimes, he does…

“What do you mean she’s put the rent up, Boswell? We rehearsed this!”

Ask Mrs Hudson Anything!
Right ... I had so much fun replying to gardnerhill’s reply last week that I am opening up my inbox to questions/prompts for Mrs H. I have a day off on Friday and I’m intending to spend it doing as much doodling as I possibly can...
So, fire away! What would you like to ask Mrs H (or the rest of the gang)? Keep it clean, she won’t stand for any funny business...

Hello Mrs. Hudson! Do you knit? Have you ever tried teaching Mr. Holmes or Dr. Watson to knit or some other craft-y type thing? How'd it go?
Hello, consultingpiskies, dear! Would you like a cup of tea? Of course you would. Have a biscuit, too. And a scone? What about a sandwich?
I certainly do knit, though these days I don’t often have the time, what with the constant chemical explosions and the criminals and people coming back from the dead every five minutes.
I did once teach Mr. Holmes, oh, a long time ago, while he was, ahem, ‘between cases’ for three months. He took to it like a duck to orange sauce, as the saying goes, but I forgot to show him one rather important bit…

I love your comics; they're so funny. Can you draw something involving the teddy bear, Boswell, and Sherlock getting into trouble with John? Thank you so much!

(I hope this is at least sort of what you were after!)

(I realised that I’ve gained a few followers recently who might not have seen the earlier adventures of Mrs H, so I thought I’d do a few quick character guides to help out...)
