In the modern era, many children are born. Of this many, three souls are brought back. The souls of King Arthur, his wife, and a good few knights and others are revived at the same time, destined to meet and hopefully change their fates. As they grow older, the all start to form the same roles as they had long ago. Arthur was the leader of the gang and always loved helping others, Guinevere was always singing and picking flowers while remaining calm and peaceful, Lancelot was always seen as the lower person to the two and was always willing to defend Guinevere, etc. Once they got older, Lance and Arthur confesses their feelings to Guinevere. She felt scared and trapped as she loved them both, memories of the past flooding them all. Knowing what happened the last time he fell for Guinevere, Lancelot offered to leave the two alone as he didn’t want to hurt his friends nor did he want to be hurt when everyone shunned him like before. Arthur, now sad of what he did in the past, decided to take it upon himself to find a way to make everyone happy. There, on the Internet, he found something called polyamory and it was as if a giant weight lifted off his shoulders. He told the two about it and explained, the three deciding to get into a relationship together and spent an entire day at Arthur’s discussing about limits, rules, and everything else. They made up for their past mistakes and now that everyone in the new circle has gotten their memories and time to be calm with themselves again, they all start to move past the things they have done to each other. They soon buy a good amount of land and build themselves a new Camelot, which is a small village where they all live.

So I want to make a Roleplay server an idea I have for an Arthurian Legends group rp.
So the story is that the citizens of Camelot were all reincarnated and, due to the Lady of the Lake finding them, all 'woke up'. Now with competing memories of themselves in the mediaeval and modern era, they work together to find a balance between the memories and hopefully thrive together in peace.

i didn’t want to have to do this but you leave me no choice. every time someone tries to make arthurian legend dark and gritty and “realistic” and leaves out wales entirely i’m denationalizing a beloved piece of public domain literature and adding magic and wonder. oh king arthur is a roman commander now?? that’s great. “war and peace” is now about a conflict between Our Motherland and The Empire, neither of which is particularly french or russian, and all the soldiers have wizard staffs attached to their rifles like bayonets. pierre and dolokhov’s duel is now a wizard duel. oh merlin was just a trusted advisor and pagan priest with a knack for sleight of hand?? i’m glad for you. sherlock holmes now lives in The Great City (filmed in paris) with dr. watson, a psychic who can also make things levitate. excalibur was just forged with a new metalworking technique?? cool! gatsby’s car is sentient and hit that lady on purpose. i can do this all day

Me encanta la fantasía épica, así que de entrada me conquistó: una serie de narraciones con prosa elegante, que invoca imágenes llenas de magia y reverencia por la naturaleza, sobre el origen de Merlín Es un poco corto, veremos si continúa bien el ciclo arturiano en el próximo

Es otro libro parte de una colección por fascículos, la razón de ser de la mitad de mi biblioteca.
Como dije arriba, la prosa de las cinco narraciones que forman parte de este tomo me encantó, tiene un estilo narrativo muy cuidado y decorado, con descripciones que invocan escenarios lejanos llenos de magia, de unas tierras antes de la desaparición de las criaturas y dioses que hoy son mitos, de cuando el asombro aún habitaba nuestros ojos.
Los cinco relatos se reparten entre la historia de la madre de Merlín, la muerte del rey de Logres, la crianza de Merlín entre los druidas, la construcción de la torre de Dinas Emrys, y el encuentro de Merlín con el Dragón del Bosque. La manera en que Álvaro Marcos logra hilvanar esas historias entre sí, muy distantes en tiempo y espacio, es maravillosa, uno puede percibir cómo se va formando lentamente la leyenda que habrá de arrastrar a Merlín a través de los siglos hasta nuestros días.
Debo elogiar también esta edición: es un poco menos ostentosa que la otra colección, pero también es tapa dura, con ilustraciones de Arcas (la cubierta), Venegas (del dorso y el interior), Guarga (del symbola, con los escudos de las familias mencionadas en este tomo) y Sánches (el mapa de Britannia).
