I finished As Good As Dead earlier today. I thought it would be interesting to look it up, to see what non Tumblr people thought of the book, and all of the ones I saw were negative. The reviews I saw were complaining that Pip killing Jason Bell and framing Max Hastings was "out of character". Which is bullshit because they just hadn't been paying attention. Pip assaulted someone that she had previously thought of as her friend because he called her a liar in Good Girl Bad Blood. She had multiple murder fantasies in As Good As Dead. Even in the first book she broke into the Bell house to get evidence. Throughout the series she committed crimes that eventually escalated to murder and framing someone for murder. I'm not saying she's in the wrong (because she's not) but it's inaccurate to say that murder is out of character.
