today my professor and i spent three hours, not to mention the past few days trying to debug my code (as in hundreds of lines of code), only to discover that i made a mistake with order of operations and forgot to put parentheses around something and that error caused all these mysterious bugs to happen as a result.

the moral of the story is that i struggle with basic math and aunt sally is a savage.
