🎯, 🎢, 🧠, 🤡 (for the writer emoji meme -- right back atcha!)

Oooooooo! Let's go! 🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Law from my Tales of Arise Modern AU series. Just all of his interactions with the characters but in particular this scene below from "It's Called a Meet Cute, Alpehn" . I die laughing everytime I read it. Sassy Law is my favourite.

“It was a setup. An orchasted meet cute. That’s Rinwell’s word, not mine.” He explained slowly but rolled his eyes all the same. Alphen went to respond but paused and looked at him in disbelief, mouth hanging open.

“You told me about that cafe six months ago.” He stated.

“Yup.” The teenager nodded his head, seemingly waiting for him to come to a realization. 🎯 Have any of your readers accurately guessed major plot points? Care to share which?

Not yet I don't think. I haven't been writing longer fics with major plots except for maybe one so that would likely contribute to this one. And I'm not sure if I can count brainstorming seessions for that as guessing. But if it was it'd be "Fighting Spirit" and the overall ending I had planned for it. 🧠 Pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them. Cross said any of the Tales of Arise cast so I'll do a quick one for each! Because I love this cast. Alphen - that he wasn't just a solider pre-Renan invasion and held an officer or higher role in the military that existed then. Shionne - Lab experiments on Rena pre-game. Rinwell - Bregon being a major part of her found family. Law - He intentionally acts in ways to make Rinwell laugh while traveling with the group. Kisara - She learned how to read by reading street signs with Migal. Dohalim - Was absolutely smitten with Kisara pre-game but didn't actually realize it until later. 🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride? Oof. I'm not too sure. I think "Dad!Duke" for Tales of Vesperia was my longest planned fic and the effort that went into that one still blows me away in terms of research, planning, and surprise reception that I get because it tends to flip peoples minds. And yet "What's Included in a Promise" for Tales of Arise has lead to not only my confidence in posting my work increasing, but it lead me to some amazing people that I'm forever grateful to have met. "Fighting Spirit" too because that was how I eneded up on Cross' discord server. I think ultimately it depends on what a wildest ride is being referred to. I know I never planned to continue "What's Included in a Promise" past like 5 or 6 chapters, and it's now become a pernmanet fixture of my WIP pile. Which uh, I really need to find the muse to work on. So perhaps in that regard "What's Included in a Promise" has been my wildest ride.
