Wait, rewind. Kanda had to pull his head out of his ass for just a moment to register what she said just then. He went lax, but his irritation was nowhere near gone.

“Black Order…” He growled, letting her hair go, but only hook his boot behind her heel and knock her off her feet, straight on her ass. Theoretically he could have done this from the start, had he been a bit more level-headed, but we can see where that went.

“Do you know what you just said, or are you trying to piss me off?” He asked, peering down at her. She was just ogling his attire moments ago, could she have really bypassed the obnoxious emblem of his coat?

✿— There was a soft yelp as she let go of his ponytail and fell back after the other kicked her feet from underneath her. She blinked and looked up at the other and squinted a little before fumbling around the pockets of her apron, pulling out a small folded letter before motioning towards her shoulder.

 “Of course I do--- I mean I think so. There was a lady with a monkey and...” 

Maybe the guy she had just bitten was not the best to speak nonsense to. Mine had been given instructions on how to get the the headquarters, a letter, and not much else; perhaps if she paid more attention she could have put two and two together.

“That sounds a little weirder out loud. Look, I’m pretty sure we’re at a stalemate so how about you just help me get my glasses and we’ll go our separate ways, yeah?”
