THE FIRST INSIDENT WAS in Qing-qing City. An extraordinary child was born, whom radiated light.
After that reports of people with super powers popped up across the globe. No one has a clue what was causing these quirks.
But before long the supernatural became the totally normal. Dreams a reality. The world became a super human society. With about 80% of the population possessing some uncanny ability.
It was an age of heroes.
With the rise of super powers also came an influxes in criminal activities. While governments were stuck figuring out how to reform laws with quirks in mind.
Courageous people started performing heroic acts to keep our cities save. Protecting us against villains whom abused their powers for evil, with overwhelming public support, heroes found their place as official peace keepers, overseen by the government.
Those whom performed the best got payed the most, and got all the fame and glory. Their careers depended on their ability to stay in the spotlight.
With more generations coming along. Measurements were taken to keep the villains at bay and make sure heroes will persevere.
The government crafted schools whom were made to craft and nurture what we as a supernatural society might need.
Categorising it’s youngsters into four:
Department of Heroes, where students learn everything they need to know to become excellent heroes in service of the community and work towards the qualifications necessary to be allowed to use their quirks in public spaces.
General Education, students whom didn’t make the cut for the hero department are included in this department. It boasts a top-notch education with an eclectic lineup of teachers. The department of general education supports students aiming for college and other pursuits.
Support, students in this department focus on developing support equipment that help heroes out on the battlefield.
And Management, this department focuses on all aspects of heroic business, from founding and managing hero agencies to executive producing heroes.
Of course their is not just one school whom does this. There are many. But only one can be on top: UA High School, U.A. is the number one ranked high school for heroics and is considered the top Hero Academy in Japan.
And I’m going there.

A/N: aahahhh the first chapter!!! this is the intro, not many words…. BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE. So, here it is!!!!! <33 the next part has the beginning from the entrance exam arc!

TAKING A SEAT IN the auditorium. You glance around the students that will now be your competition, most are chatting with the people next to them. Most likely knowing them already. A stark contrast from yourself, as you are seated between two strangers.
Being the only one from your school to try out to be a hero. They got a different path, it made sense. Our junior high was specifically crafted to give parents a ninety-nine per cent guarantee for their children to get into Hashimoto Daiki Private High School.
And if they wanted to go there, they had no reason to take the entrance exam for the hero course.
Talking about hero course candidates. Many of them don’t seem to have any out of the ordinary body mutations. You got the usual, bird features; be its head, claws, or wings. Expendable eyes. A wooden clothespin.
Snapping your head back you look at said person again. It still says the same, Wait, no, it is not… right? “Is that a clothing pin?” you whisper to yourself, questioning your own vision, blinking a couple of times it didn’t change.
Still, how will that help them in hero work? Is there more than what meets the eye? Shaking your head, you continue to look around. Whom are you to judge? For all you know this is just a body mutation and they have a different quirk or are very talented at working with what they got.
Glancing at the pamphlets, laid out in front of you. The lights turn off, to be dramatically turned back on spot by spot. Slowly but surely coming to the front, lighting up the stage. Revealing Pro Hero: Present Mic as he energetically raises his arms up, “What’s up UA candidates. Say some synonyms with me, your school DJ. Come on, and let me hear yah!”
Applauding at his request, you smile at the hero. Soon hearing the almost deafening silence. As no one else joins in, feeling awkward you stop as well. Clearing his throat, he shakes off the silence, “I appreciate the enthusiasm.” he calls out, throwing finger guns in your general direction, “The others like to keeping it mellow, huh? That is fine I will skip right to the main show.”
“Let’s talk about how all those poetical exam will go down. Okay, are you ready?” he asks, yet again being answered by silence. That’s excluding the mumbles from various candidates in the audience.
Hearing various enthusiast squeaks, your brows furrow in concentration as you glance at your card. It reads your name, candidate number, and a centre letter; whatever that means, “Oh, my Goodness. It’s the voice hero Present Mic. So, cool. I listen to his radio show every day of the week. It’s so crazy nuts that all the UA teachers are pro heroes.” a voice gushes, peaking your interest.
What they are saying is true; it is crazy that all the teachers are Pro-Heroes. Basking in the bliss of this moment he keeps on muttering about his radio show, but he soon gets shut down by a deep raspy voice telling him to shut up.
“Like your application said, today you rocking boys and girls,” Present Mic calls out, “And non-binary friends.” you add softly, “will be out there conducting a ten-minute mock battle in super hip urban cities. You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you’ll head to the specified battle centre, sound good?” he explains, making sure to leave an opening for anyone to ask a question.
Glancing at your card again the letter D makes a lot more sense now. That will be where you will be proving yourself.
When no one says a word, he continues on; “Okay! Okay! Let’s check out your charts. There are three types of different faux villains in every battle centre.” Present Mic continues as three outlines appear on the screen with points ranging from one to three.
But when you glance at the charts in front of you there are four outlines of what seem to be these faux villains. Most likely this will be brought up in a moment, “You will earn points on their level of difficulties, so you better choose wisely.” he explains, a simulation behind him playing out like a video game as a mini Present Mic runs around racking up points by taking the outlines out with a single kick.
“Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk to earn points by threading these faux villains like a guitar solo!” he calls out. Raising his arm to us, he wiggles his finger, “But check it. Make sure you keeping thing heroic. Attacking other examines is a big UA no-no.” he elaborates, which seemed like a logical thing for anyone want-to-be pro hero.
But maybe things like these have happened in the past? Or they want to avoid it from happening that’s why they point out the obvious? Or with how quirks are evolving more, and more from generation to generation, and with them being unaware of what type of quirk their applicants have they need to say this from the government —
“Excuse me, sir.” a boy in the row in front of you calls out as he raises from his seat, successfully pulling you out of your unnecessary spiral. Standing stiffly as he waves his arm around, “I have a question.”
“Hit me”
A sudden spotlight is shined on the boy, “On the print out you have listed four types of villains, not three. With all respect but if this is an error on official UA materials it is shameful. We are exemplary students, we expect the best from Japans most notable school. A mistake such like this won’t due.”
Blinking at his sudden word vomit, you are unsure of what the point of this was. If he just waited for an answer on his first question if it was an error, or not; he would have gotten it and maybe a chill pill too while he’s at it.
Stiffly turning around, he points at someone in the audience, “Additionally you with the unkempt hair.” he calls out. Turning your head, a boy with green hair hesitantly points at himself, “You have been mutter this entire time. Stop that. If you can’t bother to take this seriously? Leave. You are distracting the rest of us.” the glasses wearer continues.
Cover your mouth at the sudden call out, you can’t help the snore coming from your lips. Was it uncalled for? Sure. But the way he said it so bluntly, without any hesitation was undeniably funny.
“Sorry.” he mutters out, flustered under the sudden attention and intense gaze from the blue-haired glasses guy.
“Alright, alright, examinee number 7111. Thanks for calling in with your request.” Present Mic calls out, easing the tension, “The fourth villain type is worth zero points.” he starts, the monitors behind him showing said missing outline, “That guy is just an obstacle we will be throwing in your way. There is one in every battle centre. Think of a feral you should try to avoid.”
The previous simulation popping up again, this time as the pro hero his avatar reaches the faux villain it turns around and runs away instead of kicking it for all its points, as it has none, “It’s not that it can’t be beaten but there is kind of no point. I recommend my listeners to try to ignore it and focus on the ones on top of the charts.”
Seemingly satisfied with the answers to his question, and that UA did in fact not make an error, he bows at the pro hero, “Thank you very much. Please, continue.” re-taking his seat in the same stiff manner.
“That’s all I got for you today. I will sign off with a little present, a sample of our school motto.” He says happily, “As general Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down; A true hero is one that overcomes lives misfortunes.” he hums, nodding at his words.
I’m pretty sure he never said that, but you are honestly too happy to really care all that much about the semantics of it all.
“Now that’s a tasty sound bite. You ready to go beyond? Let’s here a plus ultra!”
“Plus Ultra.” you whisper happily, grasping your papers gently stuffing them in your bag. As everyone raises from their seats; “Just take the doors where you came in from and the arrows will send you listeners to your designated changing rooms.” Present Mic calls out, making sure everyone goes the right way.

A/N: i love present mic! and that moment between midoriya and iida make me giggle when i first saw it. It was blunt so i just had to put it in here!!! <3

THE NEXT DUO TO run the fifty meters are now taking their stance at the start of the track. As soon as the count down is over the buzzer goes off and Asui and Iida dash off.
Asui-san jumps over with speed easily as Iida blasts over the lane in no time, the engines in his calves propelling him forward. How could you have missed that?
Oijiro and the girl with the brown hair, you are not sure you caught her name. Get mentally ready for their own dash, “Hi, I’m Sero Hanta.” a voice behind you say introducing themselves. Looking up from the pair preparing their sprint, a black-haired boy smiles, “I”m Kirishima Eijiro.” the redhead introduces.
Smiling at the two, you nod, “I’m ( l/n ) ( y/n ).” you introduce yourself. Glancing at Kaminari, who has an amused smile on his face, “We already know each other.”
“Oh, it’s my turn.” Ashido calls jumping up. Letting your eyes fall onto her you hold your thumbs up, “You got this!” Kirishima says, smashing his fists smashed together.
“Go, Ashido. Go!” we call cheering the girl om. Smiling back at us, she holds her thumb up. As soon as the buzzer goes of Aoyama pushes himself forward with his laser in what’s not even a second he leaves Ashido in the dust.
Well… that is until he crashes to the floor and the pink girl glides passed him with ease. It was a little surprising but then again most quirks have their drawbacks, you suppose his is the time he can use his navel laser.
“Shooting my beautiful beam for more than a second hurts my tummy.” Aoyama says to no one in particular as he stares off to somewhere in the distance.
“What a tool.”
Humming at their words you move your eyes back to the track. The last duo will be running their dash; Bakugou and Midoriya. As soon as they start Bakugou-san uses his quirk to blast forward as Midoriya runs semi-fast… It is kind of unclear if this as fast as he can go or he is sparing his energy for the rest of the activities.
“My power has more uses than anyone else in the school.” he announces proudly. Igniting mini explosions in his. Raising your brows at the statement, even if he meant our class alone it’s a big statement to make, you don’t know everyone's quirk yet. Plus, there are still second and third-year students.
Regardless of that, he seems to be more interested in having an intense stare-off with Midoriya. They look at each other a lot. Glancing at Ashido you see her move her head to you at the same time, before looking back at the scene in front of you, “Exes?” she asks.
Humming at her option, you tilt your head shrugging. Seems a bit toxic but what do you know. It’s not like you are an expert.
GRIP STRENGHT
The next activity of the eight activities; grip strength, this is definitely not your best points. Obviously, you have to have some strength for most things you did at Oda Mikio nor what I would have needed to do to prepare for Hashimoto Daiki High, but you never needed to test or train it specifically.
Holding out the dynamometer for you, you take it from Ashido-san as Iida holds up his own up, “You have to grip as hard as you can, hold on for five seconds. Then rest for fifteen. You get three-“
“Yeah, yeah, she got it.” Ashido waves him off. The chopping return in full force as he pushes his glasses back, “I just want to make sure our fellow classmate knows what she is supposed to do, and all her options.”
Making a small smile tuck up your lips, “I got it Iida-san, thank you.” you reassure. Taking a deep breath you squeeze the dynamometer as much as you can, counting to five you let go. Glancing at the screen your shoulders fall at the sad twenty-three standing on your screen.
Wanting to go again, “No, you still have to wait five more seconds.” Iida denies. Holding off of pressing down, you wait for his sign to go again as he nods you press down.
Earning an even lower number than before, “Nineteen?” you ask in disbelief, frowning at the number, “Maybe use your quirk?” she offers. Nodding at the suggestion you take a deep breath, pushing your pinky gently onto the trigger letting the power of speed do the rest.
Getting you the highest score you have in your life with a, “Forty-eight.” you smile, it might not be the highest but it is a personal record and that can always be beaten, later on, that is if you aren’t the one going home.
“Oeh, my turn. My turn.” Mina calls, pressing down on her own meter.
STANDING LONG JUMP
The girl in front of you Asui Tsuyu jumped right over the sand without using any force to keep her up. She held her hands in front of her, had a head start and jumped right over.
Mimicking her you run at full speed towards the sand, holding your hands out as you jump trying to get as far as you can. Smacking face first on the ground, you eat sand. Well… that was not what you expected.
“Are you alive, ( l/n ).” your homeroom teacher asks. Lifting your head up you spit the sand out, holding a thumbs up you nod, “Of course.”
Getting up from the sand you jog over to the other side, dusting yourself off as you take a spot next to the girl, “You are really good at jumping.” you compliment the girl.
Looking at you, her tung sticks out, “Thank you. You had a not so pretty fall.”
Chuckling at the blunt observation, “Yeah, I’m not the greatest long jumper. I tried to mimic your jump but that didn’t really work.” you tell her, nodding at your words she sometimes makes a ‘ribbit’ sound which is surprisingly calming.
A comfortable silence takes over as you look at the next jumpers. That’s when you realise that you hadn’t introduced yourself yet, “Oh, I’m ( l/n ) ( y/n ).” you say, making her look up as well, “Asui Tsuyu.”
“I know.” you blurt out, widening your eyes at how creepy that sounded, “I mean, your name was just said and before at the fifty dash.”
Her hand rubs my arm, “It’s okay, ( l/n )-san, ribbit.” she reassures. What is up with her, how does she make you so relaxed?
REPEATED SIDE STEPS
Watching Minetta bounce off some purple balls, you blink trying to get rid of the image of him ripping the balls from head off.
“That was something.”
“Yeah.”
Being one of the last ones left you raise your hand, “Can I go?” you ask, not wanting the pressure of being the lasts. Shrugging, he raises his hand for you to take a stance, “You got this.”
Taking your place on the line you take the steps side-to-side until the buzzer goes off letting you know that your minute has passed. Stopping your quirk the sudden rush of nausea makes your head spin.
Running off you don’t wait for your score. Making it to the trash can in time your main and only priority. Hurling over the trash can, a hand rubs over your back. Coughing, you take deep breaths. Wiping the sweat off the sides of your face, “Are you okay, girl?” Ashido asks.
Nodding at her question you let the second flow of nausea spill your guts out. Coughing at the burn, you take a sip from your bottle, “Yeah.” you nod, turning to her the brunette from earlier stands behind her.
“Are you okay?”
Holding your thumb up, you swirl the water in your mouth trying to get rid of the sour taste, spitting the water out, “Glad to hear that. I’m Uraraka Ochaco.”
“Ashido Mina.”
“( l/n ) ( y/n ).”
BALL THROW
“You got this, ( l/n ).”
Taking a deep breath, you focus on your body, letting your quirk run it’s course. Swinging your arm, you throw the ball, letting time surpass at a normal pace. Letting the ball zoom off, the wind blowing in your face at the speed. Holding your hand in front of your eyes to block the sand from your vision.
“Five-hundred meters.”
Smiling at the accomplishment, you take your previous spot. Trying to remain calm as your stomach does literal backflips at the mere fact that you did not just double but ten-folded your throw by simply using your quirk.
Uraraka taking the spot in the circle, “Go Uraraka-san, go!” we cheer. Lighting up the ball she throws it with such an ease as we watch it disappear into the sky until it’s gone.
Glancing at Aizawa-sensei he holds his phone up revealing Uraraka-san her score off… “Infinity? How is that possible!” Kaminari calls out.
Taking a new ball from his pocket, he offers it to the next student; Midoriya. The boy looks like a nervous wreck as he takes it from our teacher, “If Midoriya does not shape up soon he is the one going home.” Iida notes.
“Of course he is going home he is a quirkless loser.”
Making my brows furrow the way Iida was talking about him earlier did not make it seem like he was quirkiness, at all, “He has a quirk, did you not hear about what he did at the entrance exam?” he asks Bakugou.
Watching the boy, he stands still before suddenly flinging his arm. Throwing the ball not even forty meters, “What gives, I was trying to use it just now.” Midoriya asks confused.
“I erased your quirk.”
Glancing at our teacher my eyes widen now finally clicking who he is ; ‘It’s Eraser head!’ you scream in your head. Should I ask him about how he uses his binding cloths? ( b/n ) would kill me if I told him I met him and I didn’t ask, maybe I should ask about his experiences as an underground hero, or how he came up with his name, or— no, I should stay cool and professional. He is my sensei and future college, just be cool…. Be cool, ( l/n ).
“The judges for this exam were not rational enough. Someone like you should never be allowed to enrol in this school.”
“Wait, you did what to my—? You are the Eraser Hero: Eraserhead.” Midoriya realises. Making most students look among themselves, “Who is Eraserhead?” Kirishima asks confused, not familiar with the hero name.
“Oh, I have heard of him. I think he is one that works on the down-low.” Asui says. Where you nod too, “Yeah,” you shrug casually.
“You have no control over your power. Were you planning on breaking your bones again?”
“Again?” you ask Iida, where he nods to, fully emerged into the conversation the two are having, “Counting on someone else to save your useless body?” the older man harshly asks.
“That’s not what I was trying to do.”
Pulling the boy closer with his scarf, they talk too softly for us to hear. Looking at the tense expression on Midoriya his face, Aizawa-sensei lets him go, “I have returned your quirk. Take your final throw. Hurry, and get it over with.”
“I wonder if our teacher gave him some advice.” Iida wonders to no one in particular, “Probably told him to start packing.” Bakugou pessimistically says.
“Wouldn’t that be overkill?” you ask, keeping your on the boy in front of you. As you gain the attention of your potential new classmates, “Heh?”
Glancing at him, the blond has an aloof expression on his face, “If he ends up on the last place he leaves. No one needs a reminder.” you shrug. Giving Midoriya your full attention, “Monsieur,” Aoyama tells Uraraka seemingly out of character.
“Wait, who are you again?” she asks. Letting a laugh escape, you cover your mouth at the blunt answer. Having Ashido hold your shoulder as she tries to stifle her laughs.
“Something funny?”
Your teachers drops some fluid in his eyes, eyedrops. Shaking your heads you contain the giggles, “No, sensei.” we say at the same time.
Slowing down his throw, he lets it fly through the sky with a speed so great that the wind flies all over the place. You are stunned by the throw but more so his broken finger and his lack of surprise by the event… and pain, what the actual fuck? What type of quirk does that?
705.3 meters.
“Aizawa-sensei, you see, I am still standing.”
“This kid.” Aizawa-sensei says seemingly eacually stunned, “He threw it over 700 meters!” someone screams
“Yay, he is finally showing us his true power.” Uraraka-san, “But his finger seems to be broken, just like in the exam. His quirk is very odd.” Iida notes.
“It wasn’t a very pretty throw.” Aoyama says in a weird accent, before he could anything else small explosions pop off before Bakugou runs at him with full force, “Deku, you bastard, tell me how you did that!”
Blinking at the face of anger and the horror on the others face, you just want to know all the details, “Nasty break-up.” Ashido sings.
As the binding cloth of our teacher stops him before he can reach the injured boy, “How the Hell is your scarf so strong?” he ask, trying to fight against the cloth, “Because it is a capture weapon made out of carbon fibre and a special alloy. Stand down, it will be wise to avoid making me work so much… It gives me serious dry eye.”
Which explains the eyes drops, but you are 100% the collective thought is too bad, it is super cool because… It is.
“You are wasting my time. Whoever is next can step up.” he says letting go of the blonde as Midoriya moves very weirdly around him before he runs off.
SIT UPS
Holding down her legs, you couldn’t her sit-ups. As you two have a casual conversation about nothing in particular, “I think we will be great friends.” she tells you suddenly.
“I think so too.” getting giddy at the new friend you just made. This is the first friend you have made that you haven’t known since elementary school or because you were forced into it by family relations. It’s kind of… refreshing.
Giving her, her beautiful score of hundred twenty-three sit-ups in just 6- seconds.
SEATED TOE TOUCH
Taking your seat, you stretch your arms over the bare, fully folding over. Letting the tips of your fingers push the stand further away, “I guess we should have expected from someone who was going to Oda Mikio.”
Standing up, you dot down your result, “Where you were planning to go to Hashimoto Daiki?”
“It was on the table.” you shrug handing Sero the pencil to write his own results, “Why not?” Jirou asks, tilting his head.
“Want to be a hero.”
DISTANCE RUN
Jogging together you both hold off of using your quirk to keep up together, “A race to the end?” Iida asks, starting to run faster then you. Grinning at the competitiveness you nod, starting to run faster you keep up with him.
“See you at the end.” you wave, activating your quirk you see Iida slowly move. Chuckling at the comedic faces they all make while they run you shake your head.
Running you make your way to the end. Breathing heavily, you swallow the nausea away. Waiting for Iida to catch up, “I guess you won.”
“Don’t worry, I bet you get me next time.” you offer, as you make your way over to the endpoint.
“Alright, time to give you your results. I have ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already. I will just pull up the whole list, it is not worth going over each individual.” Aizawa-sensei tells us, letting the list pop up.
Going from the first list you move your eyes up, staring anxiously at the screen gawking at your lip as you try to find your own name.
Where is my name?

A/N: U KNOW… I HAVE NOTHING TO ADD <3
- in the next chapter we will find out what rank she is

HOLDING YOUR BREATH YOU finally find your name on fourth place. Right between Bakugou and Iida. Letting the breath go, your shoulders relax now know you aren’t going to be expelled.
“Phew.” you hear the girl next to you sigh out. Quickly glancing over you see her name next to number ten. Making a small smile tuck up your lips at the confirmation neither of you would go home, “Top ten, yes.” you high five.
“And I was lying, no one is going home.”
….what? He was lying! How can he just lie like that! , “That was just a natural deception to make sure you gave your all.” he smiles. Blinking at his breezy demeanour, by the way, he called a bald-faced lie a ‘natural deception’
“I’m surprised the rest of you didn’t figure that out. I’m sorry, I guess I should have said something.” Yaoyorozu Momo says, she is on top of the list, you didn’t really pay attention to her… Thinking back you don’t think you have even seen her do one thing but you guessed she did very well in Aizawa-sensei his eyes. Lists don’t lie.
“Yeah, you should have.”
“That’s it, we are done for the day. Pick up a sillabub from the classroom and read it over before tomorrow morning.” he mumbles, shuffling off to God knows where.
Making your way to the locker room everything went quite fast from then on out. As all you had to do was change and get the sillabubs, “I’m going home with Kirishima but we should exchange Line ID.”
“Oh, yeah, we should.” you agree, holding your phone out for her. Taking hers from her, putting your id you hand it back, “Message me, whenever, girl.” she tells you, “I will.” you smile.
“Ashido, you coming?”
“Oh, I should go. See you tomorrow!” she waves, catching up with Kirishima, “See you tomorrow, ( l/n ).” the redhead waves, “Bye, Kirishima!”
Making your stop at the bathroom, always at least trying before you take your one-hour train ride. It is not worth being lazy, ever. Walking outside you catch the engines on the calves, “Hey, guys! Wait up!” you call, running up to them, “Is it okay if I tag along to the station?”
“Of course, ( l/n ).” Iida answers. Glancing at Midoriya he nods as his entire face is red, “Are you okay?” you ask worried for his health, where he nods too again, “Yes, yes. I am, are you?”
Nodding at the boy, he takes a deep breath, slowly draining the red from his face as you starting your walk to the station, “Hey, wait up you three!” a voice calls, “Are you going to the station? I will join you guys.” turning around you see Uraraka.
“You are the infinity girl.”
“I’m Uraraka Ochaco. Let’s see… you are Tenya Iida,” she says pointing at the boy, “You are ( l/n ) ( y/n ),” turning to me, “And you are Midoriya Deku.” she tells the green-haired boy.
“Deku?”
“Isn’t that what Bakugou called you during the fitness test?” reciting the memory of Bakugou running towards his screaming; ‘Deku, tell me how you did that?’
Making him flustered, “Oh, yeah. Well, my name is actually Izuku. Deku is just what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me.” he explains.
“That’s unsportsmanlike.” Iida mumbles. As Uraraka gasps in remorse at her mistake, “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realise that. You know what, I kind of like Deku, it would be a great hero name. Plus it’s kind of cute.”
“Deku it is!”
“Just like that?”
Tilting my head at the boy, he truly confuses you. Turning away from us, he covers his face waving his arm around, “This is a paradigm shift…” he mumbles.
Resuming your walk to the station, you guys chat about how hectic this day was and what your expectations for the next year. Iida was interested in what the curriculum will hold for the years to come. Uraraka for the lunch… which ( b/n ) said is really good because the pro hero Lunch Rush prepares all the food. While Midoriya couldn't see everyone in action and learn from them in the process.
“This is it.”
“Are you sure that’s yours?” Midoriya asks worried, reading the directions on the boards.
“Yeah, I live outside of the city.”
Pushing his glasses back, Iida chops the air, “Then we should exchange Line ID’s. We can meet here to walk the last part together, or let each other know of changes that might occur.”
“Yeah, sure.”
Swapping your phones between the four of you, you all put your ID’s in there. Your train being the first to arrive, “Oh, your train is here, ( l/n ).” Uraraka points out.
Walking the few steps with me, you step into the train, “See you guys tomorrow.” you say, waving at your classmates. Having the doors close, you glance back at them seeing them still waving.
Chuckling softly at it, you wave back. Neither of you stopping until you all disappear out of sight. Putting your earbuds in you settle in, resting your eyes for the ride.
Hearing your stop, you get out. So eager to tell them all that happened you run all the way home, not stopping or slowing down once.
“Hi, I’m home.” you call out, kicking your shoes off. Putting your unicorn slippers on you make your way to your room. A little confused by the lack of response you assumed ( b/n ) most likely had his headphones on.
Changing out of your uniform before making it back to the living room, “Hello?” you call out, walking around your house to see where they are.
“Oh, no one’s home.”
Like it was on cue you hear the door open. Taking two golden stars from the sticker paper, you make your way to them. Seeing them with the groceries bags you stick the stars to the foreheads of your family members, “For not forgetting to do the groceries.”
“Thanks, angel.” taking the bags from her, you and ( b/n ) take them to the kitchen. As he fires questions at you, you try to explain it so fast you stumble over your words, “And- and Eraser head is our teacher!” you continue, telling your small family about the rollercoaster that is your first day.

A/N: i love the ( l/n ) family <3 they won’t be in the story much ( now ? ) but they will come in and out and be more prevalent later on. as i do think family is an important aspect
in the next chapter we have;
- normal classes
- suit reveal & hero classes

SERIE MASTERLIST → PREVIOUS | NEXT

APART FROM QUIRK FOCUSED tests we also have monitored classes. Japanese, math, science and foreign languages. Students in every department study these core subjects and they will change year by year.
Currently, we have English with Present Mic; which is always a blast. It’s very difficult, but he keeps the class awake... sort of, which his shouting.
“Now, which of these four sentences contains a mistake?”
As soon as the question is asked Yaoyorozu raises her hand up. It went so fast you barely even had the time to read it all and she already had the correct answer.
Finally, morning classes were over and lunch was the only thing you had to think about. Your mouth practically watering at the thought of what will be made today.
Humming at how this rice somehow tastes almost euphoric. It might be because you forgot your train munchies but it is mostly because this rice is the best rice to be ever made in the history of rice.
“White rice is great comfort food, isn’t it?” Lunch Rush asks us. Blinking at the sudden disruption from your food dream you continue to munch on your food, nodding eagerly along with Iida and Uraraka as Midoriya fanboys over the hero.
Making our way to class Uraraka and you walk side to side behind the boys,“Basic Hero Training will be next.” Iida tells us, leading the way. Hyping up the green fanboy, “Can you imagine All Might as a teacher? We get to learn so much!”
Humming, the two of you continue to follow them aimlessly, “Can you marry food?” Uraraka-san asks suddenly. As you imagine yourself bathing in a bath of that rice, both boys turn around suddenly as we walk into the classroom, “I don’t think so…” Iida answers seriously.
“If you marry rice and you eat it, would that be a crime of passion?”
“I think it would be.” Midoriya hums, muttering nonsense by my follow up question to Uraraka. Sighing you rest your head on your palms, mouth-watering again at the thought.
“Wow, ( l/n ) are you drooling?”
Suddenly the door slides open, “I am here... coming through the door like a normal person!” an all to familiar voices booms. As he walks in you wipe your lips, gasping at the sight of him; you had never seen him in the flesh before.
“Wow, he really is a teacher.”
“Is that his silver age costume?”
“I’m getting goosebumps, it’s so retro.”
Taking a stance in front of the class he shines his bright smile, “Welcome to the most import class at U.A. High, think of it as Heroics 101. Here you will learn the basics of being a pro,” he tells us.
Moving from behind the desk, “and what it means to fight in the name of good.” he continues. Flexing his body in various ways showing off his iconic costume, “Let’s get into it.”
“Today’s lesson;” holding the card up with the word ‘battle’ , “we will pull no punches.”
Earning various reactions from different students some excited and some nervous at the prospect of combat fighting so soon, “But one of the keys of being a hero is... looking good! These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and the request you send in before school started.”
The walls moving our showing all the cases with the student numbers on it. Each holding the suit of their desired request, “Get yourself suited up and meet me at training ground beta.”
Opening your case you gasp at the sight of your utility belt at the top. Shifting your eyes over the case; catching the sight of a card. Reading it over it praises the clear form and details, plus the acknowledgement the DNA method for suit protection, something that was directed to ( b/n ) who thought of everything; taking in account what I wanted.
Putting on your costume for the first time you look at yourself in the mirror. Taking in how your leotard has two dots in the centre. The black combat boots with yellow stitching, the black utility belt with the same yellow details.
Down to your protective glasses and face stickers resembling Hawks as an omache to your current favourite hero; “Need help?” Jirou asks, finishing up her own face make-up while you seem to struggle to put on your stickers, deciding to go with that so they won’t bleed due to sweat or any weather conditions your might encounter.
“Is it that obvious?”
She takes the stickers in her own hands, “The eye stickers are hard,” taking your chin her hand, she tilts it to place the stickers, “it’s like they want you to buy eyeliner instead.”
Humming you try to stand as still as possible for her, “I thought these would be better for when it rains and stuff, so it won’t bleed out all over my cheeks.” you whisper.
“But wouldn’t that be super cool?”
“I guess, but I was going for a Hawks moment.”
“That’s fair.”
Placing the glasses to your nose, she smiled, “The perfect Hawks moment.”
Looking in the mirror you can’t help but smile, your eyes shifting to her through the mirror, “Thank you, Jirou. This is amazing!”
“It was nothing.”
Walking out of the locker room, you walk through the tunnel all you compliment and gushing over each others hero costumes. Not being able to stop; catching a glimpse of Iida you smile, “Wow, Iida your suit is so cool! It looks like that one hero… shit,” snapping your fingers, the name on the tip of your tongue, “I think his name is Ingenium. I could be wrong.”
Looking at the confused expression on his face, you freeze, “Or it’s just an original and has nothing to do with him.” you try, waving your hands in front of you. Nodding first he shakes his head, “Yeah, it’s an omache to the hero.”
“That’s so cool! How did—” feeling a tap on your back, you stop your sentence. Turning your head to the person, “I like your suit.” the boy says.
“Oh, thank you.” glancing down you trail your eyes over his own. Making your brows furrow, “I like you… diaper?” half asking, half saying. Not entirely sure what to think of it, “It is very stylish, right?”
“Sure.”
Now that you are all ready it is time for combat training.” All Might announces. As Iida raises his hand, “Sir, this is the fake city from our entrance exam. Will that mean we will conduct urban battles again?” he asks, noting that the surrounding is the same, something you hadn’t even register yet.
“Not quite,” holding up a peace sign, “I’m going to move you two steps ahead.” it was not a peace sign, “Most of the villain fight you see on the news happen outside. However statistically speaking encounters with the most dastardly evil-doers takes place indoors.”
“Think about it; backroom deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent villains stay hidden in the shadows.” he reminds us, “For this training exercises, you will be split into teams of good guys and bad guys. And fight two-on-two indoor battles.”
Making your head tilt at how much guidelines you will get, “Isn’t this a little advanced?” Asui asks, which you are wondering as well.
“The best training is what you get on the battlefield, but remember you can’t just punch a robot this time,” he reminds us. Leaving a moment to let it sink in, “You are dealing with actual people now.” making many questions pop up by various students.
“Sir, will you be deciding who wins?”
“How much can we hurt the other team?”
“Do we need to worry about the losers getting expelled like earlier?”
“Will you be splitting us up by chance or comparative skill?”
“Isn’t this cape cré-chice?”
A strained expression twists into his face, “I wasn’t finished talking.” All Might groans at the sudden rain of questions. When everyone quiets down; he opens a small booklet.
“Listen up,” he starts moving to a page, “The situation is this; the villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in there hide-out. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that the good guys either have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon.”
“Likewise the bad guys if they protect their payload or capture the heroes.” it sounds like a solid battle exercise but shouldn’t we first learn how to actually fight instead of using our imagination.
Holding up a box he tells us that our teams will be decided by the lots, “Isn’t there a better way?”
“Think about it pros often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot. So, maybe that’s the reason why we are seeing that here.” Midoriya tells Iida answering the question for All Might. It made sense, one glance at his suite told you enough; he is an All Might fanboy trough and trough
“Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events.” well, that was depressing.
Bowing to the pro-hero he excuses himself for his rudeness. Making a giggle escape from your lips at his never-fading formal mannerism and the stuff way his suit moved forward.
“You’re funny, Iida-san.” you tell him, regaining composure. While All Might takes it upon himself to pull out the first lots, letting faith decide our teams.
“I wasn’t trying to be funny.”
Team A: Midoriya and Uraraka. Glancing at the first team you hum at the coincidence of being teamed up with someone you already kind of know. What are the odds, right? Well… it’s one in twenty. But what are the odds?
The second team is comprised of Shoji and Todoroki. Shoji-san his quirk is dupli-arms which was easily recognisable, but Todoroki-san his quirk does not seem to be visible. He has a scar but I don’t think that has to do with it.
Minetta and Yaoyorozu are team C. Minetta has a diaper and weird… balls? The sounded gross but he seems nice enough. So does Yaoyorozu.
The next team includes Iida… and Bakugou Glancing at the latter member of a team, you can’t help but let your eyes roam over his form. He looks so much different in his hero suit. And his shoulders, “Damn...” you mumble.
Having his head move, you freeze, eyes widening as you turn around fast. I don't think he heard, maybe he did? He will think I am a total weirdo now. Who the Hell says that… that are things you say in your head! Since when did I go brain dead over a ran-do. All I know is that he screams a lot.
And that he looks good in his hero suit.
“(l/n) and Tokoyami.”
Blinking at the mention of my name I look around to find the boy. Neither of you having formally introduced yourselves yet, “You’re Tokoyami, right?”

A/N: lowkey was thinking— fuck it let’s make this a jirou fic ( but I am already making a rivals-to-lovers jirou fic, so- ) BUT…. TOKOYAMI, TOKOYAMI, TOKOYAMI, EDGE LORD OF THE NIGHT. HE IS SO FUCKING COOL — I CANT EVEN. PARTNER IN CRIME, BITCHES!!!
in the next chapter;
— we will see l/n and her class ( a sprinkle of shouto his old costume )
— and some random class moments and a warning there is some minetta ( but it is to set something up/ to use it in later chapters )
