Well you see, the thing is that according to basic biology there is two, but that’s exactly what is so flawed with saying there is only two. Basic biology is a very dumbed down version of true biology, like how basic physics is a dumbed down version of true physics, basic chemistry is a dumbed down version of true chemistry.

Just because a simplified version of something doesn’t explain the whole thing, doesn’t mean the rest isn’t real

For some reason they refuse to believe that basic biology is a simplification of true biology like everything else basic, instead claiming that true biology is built on basic biology. And that’s the core issue with that logic

Also here is another fun fact, people with XX chromosomes have been assigned male at birth and people with XY chromosomes have been assigned female at birth, and it was only found out later in life because of chromosome testing. Also people can have XXY so like, yeah

And even if none of that was true, it doesn’t matter because like OP mentioned gender and sex are separate

it’s so funny seeing people say stuff like “erm it’s basic biology” when like

Literal hundreds of animals exhibit homosexuality

Fish can swap sexes

A species of sparrow has four different sexes

Like saying queerness is a biological flaw is really fuckin weird when there’s evidence of this existing in hundreds of species around the world

(also sex and gender are two different things, so equating those as the same thing don’t make sense either)
