Ritual Baths

Creating Bath Salts The basic ingredients are table salt, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate). Some herbalists also use borax. Add the salts to a large bowl in these proportions: 3 parts Epsom salts 2 parts baking soda 1 part table salt (or Borax) Mix thoroughly. Divide if making more than one type of bath salt. You may use food coloring to color the mixture. Add essential oils. As you mix, visualize the energies within the oils merging with each other and with the salt. Keep the salt’s magickal goal in mind while you stir. Empower the mixture. Store in airtight container until use.Â
