working on a batim au… if i were to make a ‘nothing bad happens’ batim au, what year should it be set in more or less??

okay so long-ish headcanon time abt this au

in this au, joey is a good guy, just a bit eccentric, and the studio is pretty chilled out. the evnts of batim or batdr dont happen

anyway, the studio has a whole department of animators who animate for their original show, ‘inky employees studios’, where they basically animate stuff that happens in the studio. so they have to have designs for the employees, right? they always take something about them and add it into the employees ‘inksona’ (the employees’ designs in the show) designs. whenever they draw an employee, they try to find a way to include the date they started on their designs

so when sammy first came into the studio, he had really big, fluffy hair that covered his eyes a bit, since he refused to put it into a ponytail or bun. due to this, the animators thought it be funny if they animated him with a sheep tag on his ear, with the date he started on it. eventually, after a couple year, sammy cut his hair/started wearing it in a ponytail, so the animation crew couldnt draw him as a sheep anymore, so they drew him as a sheepdog anyway.

also the pearl inside joke with susie is that she once used a pearl necklace as a hair tie since she couldnt find anything else, but then it got stuck in her hair and she had to get help from another worker to get it out of her hair. she otherwise doesnt wear pearls, thats the joke

so i read a fic where sammy starts worshipping malice/susie after being attacked by bendy. i think it's a pretty neat concept :]
