Hi! I heard your takin' some au's. Here is one: Batfam at Met Gala!

Holy shit holy shit holy shitttttt yessss

I was literally just thinking about this.

When Bruce said "we're going to the Met Gala", this is not what he envisioned would happen.

Dick tried to convince him that this was completely normal.

Because he should really start expecting shit like this.

He expected someone to show up wearing something odd or ridiculous, or for someone to do something odd or ridiculous.

He didn't expect both of those things, plus more.

Dick had shown up in a crop top that read "My eyes are down here", dress pants, and a gold Versace sun hat.

Jason was not any better. He was wearing a Wonder Woman themed suit with a pair of black dress shoes. Now, this doesn't seem bad except for the fact that he had cut the pants into shorts, taken the sleeves off of the jacket, and had someone bedazzle the shoes.

Tim was okay, out of everyone. Tim was wearing a classy black suit with a green jacket. And congratulated himself on having at least one somewhat serious child……Until he looked down.

Fucking. Cowboy. Boots.

God fucking dammit.

He noted that Damian decided to wear a similar version of what he himself was wearing, a simple black suit with a cape-like jacket, which wouldn't have made him sigh if he hadn't known that Damian still felt the need to be armed at all times.

Cassandra. His beautiful, sweet, chaotic daughter. Strutting down the aisle in an electric blue jumpsuit tucked into leather thigh high boots. It could be worse, Bruce reminds himself.

It got worse.

Stephanie had been hanging around Dick apparently. Crop top, Check. Pun on said crop top? Check. Fuzzy pants?......Check.

Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose to keep from showing his internal despair. He was so tired.

Bruce is once again reminded that Duke is a good child and will always be the only semi-normal one in this family. Thankfully, the boy was wearing a sleek black suit with a gold tie. Unfortunately, Bruce did not see him handing out Batman stickers to reporters.

Bruce thanked his past self for putting a "no plus ones" rule on this event, still haunted by what happened at the last gala that his children brought their friends and significant others to.

The man shuddered and continued down the carpeted runway.

(I hope this is okay!!!! I wrote this at 11:15 pm so if there's any mistakes I'm so sorry!)

for a sad prompt or idea(if it’s not you’re style or not comfortable you don’t have to do it)

Tim who’s been stressing and stuggling with his place in the batfam after Bruce came back. Like he and Dick never talked about the whole replacing Tim with Damian and calling him crazy. Like Tim who’s tired of being bullied by Damian, called replacement and Pretender by Dick, not getting acknowledged like his brothers by Bruce. Tim just sad realizing no one cares about him and this isn’t home anymore. So he goes back to Drake Manor and no one notices. Like Tim goes back to his empty childhood home sad and something happens and the family realizes that they didn’t treat Tim right and they feel guilty....idk just sum sad Tim and guilty batfam

I hope you like this, I tried my best and ik I kinda did a lazy ending but hey, it's self indulgent.

Tim was getting tired of it all.

Tim was tired of it all.

At first, he understood. It can be hard to come into a new setting with a bunch of people you feel the need to compete with, so he understood where Damian was.

He understood that at times, Dick's humor was weird. He didn't mean anything by it.

He understood everyone being busy and the entire family being chaos incarnate.

He didn't understand why he was being ignored. It was like he never existed. His siblings, once loud and inclusive, had now kept to their own groups within the family, none of which included Tim.

Duke was nice, but it was kind of hard to hang out with someone who was feeling sympathetic for him and his loneliness. It's not pity, he had to remind himself.

He tried hanging out with them, he really did. He tried to ask Dick about his police work, which ended in Dick being reminded of police paper-work that he had yet to finish. He tried going to Jason only to get a scoff and a

"yeah right, go bother someone else, replacement."

He didn't want to even bother with Damian, knowing that the boy would just glare at him and insult him. So he went to Cass & Stephanie, who promptly kicked him out because they were having a "private girl moment", aka talking shit about everyone and everything. He didn't have the energy to do that today anyway.

The next person he went to was Bruce, busy as always.

"Hey Bruce?"

"Hm?"

"Can you help me with some CEO stuff?"

"......Sorry, Tim. I'm really busy with this paperwork, but I'll help you later, okay?"

".........yeah. Okay."

He would've helped Alfred cook, but that was the only personal time he got away from this mess of a family. Alfred deserved his personal time.

After about two days of "No, Tim", and "Go away, Tim", or "Sorry, Tim, not right now", he was done. He went upstairs. Grabbed his bags, packed them, and walked down the stairs.

'This is their last chance,' he thought to himself, walking just a little bit slower in hopes that someone, anyone, would notice and say "Tim, stop!", "Tim, don't leave!", "We love you, Tim!". But alas, no such luck. He reached the front doors without so much as a "Hey!".

So he left. We walked down the ridiculously long road, down the ridiculously long street, and back to the beginning of his life. His nightmarish, sad, apparently lonely, life.

Drake Manor. Cold and empty as always, but at least he didn't have to pretend to be alone. He actually was alone, now. Fuck.

It took two days for Bruce to sit down at dinner and ask,

"Where's Tim?"

This of course started a panic. Searching the manor from top to bottom, looking around town, asking his school friends about him. Nobody found anything. Just as Jason grabbed his helmet, wanting to go interrogate someone who wouldn't even know where his brother was, Dick's eyebrows shot up and he gasped.

"What?!"

".....Drake Manor." Bruce nodded sadly,

"He's probably there. Let's go."

They found him, they talked, Tim yelled, a lot of people cried, and they ended the long night with an even longer hug. They each said they were sorry and Bruce told him he would never be ignored again.

'That therapy sounds pretty good right about now.' Tim though as he walked back to Wayne Manor, family surrounding him on all sides.

Gotham rouges bonding with Batfam??

So,,,, I started writing this as every members interactions with every rogue but that took way to much thinking for my 1/2 of a brain cell, so here's a child-per-villain + bruce :) hope ya like!

Harley:

Dick- the first time she met him was when he started to go on patrol as Robin. She was concerned as to why the fuck batman brought a child to a very dangerous, very adult fight. Dick knew right away that she was a good person way down in her heart, and tried his best not to physically harm her during fights, her often returning the favor. As he got older they started meeting up for lunch and regularly went on therapy walks because, hey, she does still technically have all of that psychology knowledge she used to become a psychiatrist.

Harvey:

Jason- he's cautious because he has a hard time telling if it's Harvey or Two-Face before the man starts talking. This factor determines if Jason punches him that night. The few times he's talked to Harvey, he'll admit weren't bad. Harvey was a good guy, and bad things happen to good guys.

Ivy:

Tim- She's lowkey scary, but she's helped him on biology homework a few times, so she can't be all that bad. They first met when she started causing trouble, she put up a pretty good fight and he respects her for that, but still has fear for her since she was/is a villain.

Bane:

Damian- The boy absolutely hated this man. Despised him even. Until Harley reminded him that sometimes people do and become bad things because they've had bad things happen to them, and that softens his attitude a little. He still doesn't like Bane, but he can at least understand his conditions a little better now.

Penguin:

Cass- She kicks his ass the first time she meets him. And the second, third, fourth, and almost the fifth time, too. The fifth time Cass met Mr. Cobblepot was when he waddle-marched into the manor on a lazy Saturday. She hadn't known that he had been invited by Bruce to try to reach some (legal) business agreements.

Riddler:

Stephanie didn't like Edward at first. He reminded her too much of her father, with his larger than life vocabulary and puzzles. She often showed him this displeasure, and even though she's forgiven some of the hurt she's had to deal with from her father, she's still not very comfortable around Riddler.

Firefly:

Duke He isn't quite sure why Firefly does what they do, but having a flamethrower is pretty cool, if not terrifying. He likes to imagine that some day, one day, Firefly will retire and find something constructive to do, instead of catching things on fire.

Joker:

Bruce- Bruce wasn't having a great day the day Joker decided to pull his usual shit, so Bruce shows up like "do you wanna turn yourself in or are you gonna be a little bitch" and jokers just standing there, bombs ready, jaw dropped, and is like "e-excuse me??? no punching??? No children???? who are you???". After a while though he does get into the batmobile (he agged bruce on until he punched him though) and Bruce rewards him with a lame joke for not blowing anything up.
