Notify local stations!! after getting hit by a car my neighbor reached out to us. she's a new reporter at our local stations and wanted to make a story to help find the person who hit us. the day our story aired two other women were hit saw our story and decided to report their own story to the news station it became a domino effect. it was a huge story in our area more and more women getting hit spoke up and suddenly the police were fervently searching for this man. because of these stories this man was caught and is now in jail facing at least 9 accounts of attempted murder. He had hurt someone before and the police didn't do much about it. but because of the news the search for him became something important.
