Bellatrix X Rita - Tumblr Posts

Thinking about quillkiller and how Rita fell first and Bella fell harder. That Bellatrix never really showed Rita how much she really loved her until she was already gone. She treated Rita like shit most of the time but losing her is what finally pushed her over the edge. she drove away her big sister and her favorite cousin and then after everything, the one person who truly loved her, who didn’t think she was completely insane? Well she drove her away too. Losing Rita killed her eventually, not immediately, but it was the point of no return to the rapid deterioration of her sanity. After she lost Rita she had nothing left to slow the fall, no where to turn but the deatheaters and that’s what killed her.

!!! To be clear this is not to romanticize toxic relationships. I do not at all support that or think quillkiller is healthy or cute. This is just how I think quillkiller would play out because Bella was already too far gone even before she got to Hogwarts. Her relationship with Rita was incredibly unhealthy for them both. !!!
