i know i got me is not everyone’s cup of tea, but you know hear me out. its not that its a bad song, i think the chorus is pretty nice sounding, and it’s good that stex is trying to be more progressive (though it still has a long way to go i won’t deny it), i think it would be like perfect if it were just after because like in the mega mix it’s faster and it’s so hype. and like i get it, it’s a women’s empowerment anthem which is great, but i have an idea. start with the power anthem at the beginning of i got me, then slowly get faster and then at the end go all out and show what the coaches are capable of on their own. i’m just imagining this like, they keep building up throughout the song and then the beat drops and BOOM, a fire ass party beat blasting on the speakers and shit. belle’s going into the audience launching glow sticks and led sunglasses at children, carrie’s in the back at a dj table switching discs to the best of the song, dinah’s like breakdancing and shit and doing hurricane spins on the floor and pearl is twirling around and she’s like hyping up the audience and shit. it would be so cool.
so last night i had a dream that everyone in the stex fandom really hated belle the bar car with like a burning passion. like there were discord servers dedicated to how much she sucked, hate posts about her specifically by the thousands, at some point i saw a post on tumblr where someone superimposed her face onto colleen ballinger’s toxic gossip train video.
i don’t remember ever finding out in the dream why belle specifically was getting so much hate because it was JUST her, not any of the other newbies like carrie of killerwatt, just her. but by the way that people HATED belle, i’m guessing that in the dream version of stex, she did something really bad that the fandom never forgave her for.

honestly i don’t keep up with bochum enough to properly gauge how much i like which actors play them so i kinda just like any actor who is portraying them right now !!

i guess i am me is pretty cool, sigh if only belle and carrie weren’t introduced like once and never did anything of note after that point.
- Favourite Costumes?
since their costumes barely changed, i’ll talk about what i like about them now !! i love how many aspects of ashley were incorporated into belle’s design, i love her little cocktail hat, it’s very cute.
as for carrie i like how different she looks from the other coaches, i think that’s a cute nod to her not actually being a real coach (even though that’s like 99% not what was intended)

they are EACH OTHERS EVERYTHING. not in a romantic way (they’re just seeing other people)

belle
carrie originated from the uk !! prior to being transferred to the us, she made friends with a little orange cat in a waistcoat and a pocket watch. it wasn’t even a pet/owner relationship either, this was straight up just a fun friendship between coworkers. additionally, she felt shame knowing she couldn’t carry passengers like the other coaches, and considered being rebuilt so she could be a mix of both !!! however she grew to like being a luggage van, she thought it made her very unique from the other coaches, and is very proud to be one !!!
- Unpopular Opinion?
carrie is kinda forgettable, though that is absolutely not her fault because she unfortunately made the mistake of being a female character written by bigoted old white men in the alw musical starlight express.
this would only be an unpopular opinion in a dream i had about belle: she’s my problematic fave <33
