This is a call to arms, to anyone interested in a partner of which to roleplay with set in the vibrant and extensive world of Tolkien’s Middle Earth.

A little bit about me? I am an adult. With a full time job in the medical field, a house to run and an active social life. My hobbies include: reading, gardening, working out, fishing, hiking and obsessing over fictional worlds and people that don’t actually exist.

I have been a literary roleplayer for well over a decade, write in third person and am more than capable of producing “novella” style replies and storylines.

Looking for anyone over the age of eighteen, who would be interested in exploring the unwritten events which happen in between the storylines of the books and films. Doriath. The second age. After the war of the ring. You can play a canon character which fits into the timeline or an OC. I absolutely love creative, diverse and well written ones. While I will write for Thranduil.

I obviously cannot be online all the time. Producing long multi paragraph, novel style replies several times a day or even once every day just isn’t realistic for me and my lifestyle. But I do enjoy out of character chat, idea swapping, sharing fanart and fanfiction and casual in character conversation.

Discord is preferred but not a requirement. Samples of my writing can be viewed on AO3 by request.

I was mentioning this to someone the other day, but read Google-Translated versions of fanfic in languages you can't read normally. The translation software is now sufficiently adept to make it readable, and you get a culturally completely different lens by which to interpret media properties.

currently watching: lectures of egyptologist Victor Solkin on religion and art of ancient Egypt (it's in russian so i doubt it makes sense to give links). And new "Loki" of course, but currently it's only 1 episode available, so to say "watching" would be overestimation

currently craving: more free time :( And border opening. Last time i was abroad was early 2020, it was routine visits to Estonia or Finland, but nowadays even this sounds like Great Adventure 🙄

Loki Show gives impression that every MCU director shapeshifted Loki character into something needed specifically in the moment (to highlight, to counter, etc) without thinking what next successor will have to do with him, and now showrunners try very hard to make sense of all his sorts which are on the spectrum from "sad fairytale prince" to "chaotic disaster from 80sDiscoAU" 😆

Sylvie was adopted and knew about it, right? So all these fantasies about arranged political marriage, which were plenty after Thor-2011, could be true in her timeline. But no, Loki isn't meant to be happy / have good relations with anyone (and Thor specifically), Loki`s main role is to be antagonist for all good guys, so her timeline was destroyed.

What if that happened to every timeline where Loki wasn't alone and unappreciated?

thinking like that i can see why for Loki who lived long enough in "approved timeline" another Loki is... the only option? 🙄

I just finished reading BNHA Vigilantes and I think I've found my new obsession 

A lot of people when they think America are also gonna think guns, which is fair, or red white and blue like France, Russia, and England don’t exist or something, being rude, patriotism: being ride or die for your country, licking its boots, being its bitch. But I reject all those things and I’d rather say the most American thing to ever do is to criticize the government.

Our very roots are breaking away as colonies because we criticized the government that hard, we made our own country. That’s why the constitution has so many things protecting us like the first amendment that allows us to group up and petition, to speak out. So I really think it’s crazy some people tell us to keep our mouths shut or accept things, like I once saw a guy at Wawa wearing some shirt like “America, love it or leave it” with a big fat American flag in the middle. And my first thought was like “no??? change it,” and I blurted it out loud and I admit I probably looked crazy. And that’s the thing about us and many politics, it’s that the climate of our country and its laws are constantly changing. To accept things and let other people be the lawmakers to your law abiding citizen is stupid. There’s so many of us and so many states that there’s no way we’ll all have the same opinion, and I’ve noticed that a lot of people who tell others not to say anything just want to be the only ones doing change, because it’s a lot harder for them if there’s people opposing their control every step of the way.

If we stay around and do nothing, the next thing you know it’s that you’re waking up to a world full of policies you don’t agree with, screaming like it’s a nightmare wondering what the fuck is going on, and for a lot of us that are afab that’s already our reality. Sometimes we gotta realize we’re the majority, us down here, and if I can’t vote then I’m at least gonna mope about it. It’s my god given right, and it’s not gonna seem all like a big deal until we have another “red scare” that repeats itself and those rights become infringed in fear of government spies and, essentially, ourselves(a lot of people mistake being against certain choices as being against the country, and it’s always been a big debate about where to draw the line, the spoken and written word versus active action, but that’s kinda a thing I don’t wanna blabber about right now).

So that’s why I feel some of the teens and young adults aghast about certain policies and decisions stating their discontentment out loud with full written statements, memes, coping with shipping Biden and Trump(I see that shit like our new take on political cartoons to shit on presidents and GOD do I love it), are some of the most American people ever in spirit. And just because they don’t use terminology like politicians to get their opinions across, or can’t vote yet, doesn’t mean their opinion is void because they live here just like you and me, and don’t want to destroy the country: they want to better it.

I love going through my saved docs every few months bc I get to read stories I forgot existed. Especially fun is guessing what the title could possibly mean considering I never label anything properly. "The three bis and their traumatized little guy" and it's just a fic about the first three hokages trying to do damage control from beyond the grave by becoming psudo dads/teachers to Itachi. Why. Would I label it that. Why did I think I would know what the fuck I was on about.

I found out that i got diagnosed with adhd 9 YEARS ago and everyone just forgot about it and i probably didn't even know bc i was 9 at the time and then we're moving back home from germany and my mom found the papers that said the stuff and apparently i was supposed to get some type of treatment i guess for 3 years and then we moved to germany after 2 so it never came up and it do be feeling kinda nice to have confirmation bc i thought i had it for a while now but never would have actually gotten it diagnosed bc i like raw-dogging it like that

does it seem sus that i cant pick a dang signature for my art :,)
