Can we take a moment to point out how just relaxed and care free Blake is in this scene? I mean just look at her dancing without a care in the world. Normally you can just tell that she feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulder but here? Here she is genuinely enjoying herself. Am I the only one that has noticed this?

One of my headcanons for Blacksun is that when Blake is nervous or feeling down, Sun wraps his tail around her to provide comfort and a sense of safety. Where he wraps his tail depends on how she is feeling, but he'd usually wrap it around her hand or wrist. She likes it because his tail is warm and really soft.

Soft Blacksun:
Blake has a fever, so Sun decided to stay over to her place to take care of her. He makes her dinner while she lays in bed but when it's time for her to actually eat, she has already fallen asleep. Sun leaves the bowl he made a soup of some kind on the bedside table and tucks her in, checking her forehead to see if she's still hot, she is.
Suddenly he feels someone pulling his glove and quickly turns around, only to see a still asleep Blake tugging on it. He takes this an invitation and lays close to her as she cuddles close. Despite her high fever, her hands feel cold, she is shaking.
They both fall asleep holding each other, as Sun was giving Blake little forehead kisses i mean it IS the best way to check her temp right??
Blake wakes up in the middle of the night, noticing that her head is on Sun's chest, looks up to see that he is fast asleep. She says "thank you" softly and gets all cozy and smiley, not moving an inch away from him.

BlackSun Week - Day 3: Protection
I like to think that Blake feels safe with Sun. When she gets too stressed she can always go to him and heāll shield her from the world.Ā
give me two characters who are each otherās home. two characters who feel completely safe, warm and protected in each otherās presence, and who are completely respected by the other. two people who, on some level or another, were missing that little extra spark they needed to feel fully confident and accepted as their whole selves until the other came along. they donātĀ āfix each otherā orĀ āmake each other betterāāthey give the other the support they need to build on what was already inside them. sure they might kiss, or make goo-goo eyes, but they can also justā¦talk, and make each other laugh and smile, because for once they feel comfortable enough in themselves and with each other to be vulnerable in that way. two complete people who finally find someone to share all of themselves with. and no matter what they do or how far they go, theyāll always have each other to come back home to.Ā
Blake recovering almost entirely after Adam and becoming her true self, feisty, affectionate, warm, surprising Sun with the biggest hug in Vacuo
Also Blake would be more affectionate than Sun donāt @ me, itās clear that we saw her character after Adam, aka an abuse survivor, not Blake Belladonna which weāre starting to see a lot.Ā

It's sad we never see Sun hug/get hugged before. We know for a fact that Sun gives the best hugs. Solid chest. Broad back. Strong arms. Firm yet gentle hug. Radiating warmth. The most cuddly monkey buddy <3
