         Striking black attire, distinct and enough to recognize, to know of the ruin and devastation left in the trails of those damned cloaks. It's not hard for imagination to take the singular line and weave possibilities of what may lay within the fog of that intent. Did he think this funny ?  Burgeoning ire glossed irises a shade darker. Contrarily, the world seemed too bright, colours washed out as eyes narrowed, thin, sharp, seeking to pierce the black veil shielding features from the world. Fingers curled tight around the grip of flowered blade. Did this faceless, hooded goon think the rest of them were props to his little game of seeking needless, unending suffering ? She didn't understand.

         What was this, that bubbled hot behind her teeth ? That stung her throat, blistered skin, and left her trembling ?

         A spark of a slumbering rare flame illuminating tender insides, a type that often gets pushed down down down to mere cinders. An invisible hand reaching from it to pluck shimmering bloom from chest's confines, and let uncommon ugly feelings tread the surface of her heart. Her light — blinding / burning / a harsh glare — swelled up within it's container, driven by emotion, greater than any uncertain fear might've threatened her stance to waver. A shimmering molten river coursing though veins, boiling higher past the threshold, as though it would spill over the cracks and melt the ground she stood upon.

         Ah.

         Kairi was so tired and so very angry.
