Blog Updates ( February - March 2017 )

Hiya everyone (/・ω・)/ Recently, I've been receiving messages about creating a guide for the Outlander : Fantastic Princess game. So, here's saying there is good news for it, that it's currently in progress and I've just completed one of Lancelot's ending ( now on Storm's ) which will be up soon on March. Also, I'm currently revamping the walkthrough for Love Story : Magical Princess and Love Story : Legendary Twins, which includes re-checking all the endings ( just in case it's outdated or have changes made to them due to game updates ), re-editing of the walkthrough itself ( sections, layout, images, etc ) and other extras. Due to this, I may not be able to reply to messages concerning the walkthrough but I have received them as important things to look out for while the walkthrough is being revamp. However, even after the guides has been completed, I will still help you out if you need help on getting the endings you want from the game ( the guides are only the simplified version after all ). As for other blog stuff like manga recommendations, game reviews, etc., I have some of them planned but I won't be posting them any time soon ( except for Outlander : Fantastic Princess since I'm already doing the guide for it ). That's all, I think for now. I think? Maybe I've missed out some stuff along the way. A small question and a lil update

Today hopefully I'll finally be able to finish and upload the character profile of Sears (the Blue Addison). The next in the queue should be Joel which is the Pink Addison of the group of co-workers that is pivotal to the events from Spam's flashback and during the epilogue of Season 1. After that Genie the Yellow Addison and that will complete the pivotal triad of the plot. The rest of the Addison co-workers will follow suit with the character profiles but they weren't as impactful to Spam as these other three, hence the low priority.

Also, it came to my attention after perusing some blogs that there is some roleplay activity with characters that have their own blogs. People can send them questions and the author replies in character and sometimes with a little cool something thrown in between. Like I already had the idea of replying in character if asked through the "Question the Darkner" button, and I like the idea of increasing engagement with followers and other randoms if they can have me (and are polite while doing so). However, I had this dilemma of if making a separate blog just for Spwatchton and company or keep using this blog and make a few adjustments so that you can Ask questions to any of the characters of my AU (yes even to that White Addison called Velveeta 👀)

I think it would be more tidy if I keep everything in the same blog, because the moment I make more blogs for each one, my mind will break in the sparsecity of all of it (and I has the attention span of a low sodium can of Spam). I better centralize the Ask so that others don't need to run to the specific blog to speak to their favourite character, me thonks. (the DIRECTOR is also part of the cast and represents me as the author so if you have any questions for the DIRECTOR those questions will be addressed directly to me)

Just me mussing a little about increasing a lil bit the engagement in a more open manner 🤔Also this week we should know if we land a new job or not and if not... well, guess we'll be [[ROYALLY SCREWED]] until next week (because nobody hires on weekends) <slumps back in defeat>

Playing Computer Surgeon

I apologize for any lack of updates or of activity. This week has been stressful, and let's just leave it like that because I tend to ramble too much about my grievances when I shouldn't do it in front of others.

For a little blessing, the new heart for the computer arrived:

I'm very grateful that my friend went on a limb to buy me the replacement and pay the shipping expenses. If you didn't know yet, the PSU of the computer started to fail in the past two months and giving less and less juice to the components, to the point of disabling the stylus detection of my tablet or not letting me to play any games without the computer blaring fans and overheating like I could cook an egg on top of it. Heck, even playing YouTube videos puts the fans on a fritz.

So... it's time to play surgeon and replace the heart of this old NEO (yeah, I call my computer NEO by no reason apparently <coff coff coff>) with a brand new one with some odd but cool LEDs. I'm a bit scared though because it's been aeons since I fiddled with computer components and I fear that I'm going to break something irreparably and then I'll be cooked because I need the computer to work. But if I don't replace it, NEO will die regardless so... I installed Tumblr on my phone so that I can at least post an update if everything goes south.

And if it goes well, I hope this new PSU will give juice to revive the tablet. If the tablet is still not working after all of this... Well, as Sears would say "Never try to heal the wound before getting it on yourself". I'll go and just channel my inner Spam engineer and just do it. Doing nothing would be far worse anyway.

Just asking a question

Because I can't make proper 2D art on my computer, but certain vermin friend shown me the way to use Ibis Paint on my phone... Painting with the finger is something I never did before (heck, I only use my phone to chat and make calls) and attempting to do any details is very frustrating without zooming enough so that I can see where the line beneath the finger is. The art is horrid and subpar but it's something I can do in some minutes before going to bed.

I wanted to ask if you would like to see those arts, even if they look like horrible oekaki pics. They'll be related to my AU mostly, at least until I can fund me the new tablet (you can help me with that by donating here if you feel generous). Is to don't leave this blog silent for too long. I want to practice to draw Spam and the other Addisons a lil more and maybe sketching them on my phone will help me out to resume the concept arting that was pending since the end of June. What ye think?

I went ahead and did some important setting maintenance to this blog, including setting up a real theme. Let me know if it looks cool enough, i'm still tinkering with colors. I've got some good metaposts cooking in the oven right now to share
