i'm sorry, PREGNANCY SUBTEXT??
YEAH! There’s tons of pregnancy subtext regarding the lore of OFA and AFO. I think the most obvious one is AFO’s fucked up obsession with his brother and how he believes Yoichi to simply be a “thing”. But also in the nature of Yoichi’s quirk works. It was empty before, but then AFO “filled” it with his own power (or one might even say seed) which he himself described as an action of making Yoichi “his”. of Afo has also called himself the father of OFA (so I wonder who’s the mother 🤔 Hint: It’s Yoichi) In the original Japanese, when it was described that the OFA quirk was beginning to grow and kick in Midoriya, the same kanji was used to refer to when a baby grows and kicks in its’ mother’s stomach.
Also Midoriya being the ninth and final holder, and how long does it take for a child to grow in its mother’s womb? 9 months.
There are also Greek mythology parallels such as with Cronus and Afo. Cronus, who married his sister, Rhea and had a child with her called Zeus, who then defeated his father. One for all being used right now to defeat its “father”. Another parallel is how One For All sucks the life force out of its users, the same way a child sucks the nutrients out of its mother.

WHAT IF SHIGARAKI IS THE REINCARNATION OF THE FIRST OFA USER????
Like, what if since Nana was an OFA user, that her children/grandchildren also had a small connection to it, and somehow through that connection, AFO’s brother was reincarnated into Tenko Shimura? Think about it. Other than being Nana’s grandson, Tenko wasn’t exactly special, but AFO still helped him and took him in as his successor. It could’ve been to spite All Might sure, but AFO knew who Tenko was, so why didn’t he go for any of the other Shimuras before Tenko’s quirk formed if AFO knew about them? There’s also the theory that AFO gave Shigaraki decay, if that’s true, then why did he go for Tenko and not, say, Hana? And if so, then Tenko might have been quirkless, like everyone believed AFO’s brother to be. And look at how SIMILAR they look!
This is just some theory I had at like 2 am, but what do you guys think? If you want to dig deeper into this theory, go ahead

Random rant here, but anyway -
You know how in MHA genderbend fics they give Izuku Midoriya a different name, usually Izumi or something? I loathe that.
Why? Well, you know how he's the ninth user of One for All? The ku in his name is nine. Each of the One for All wielders has their number somewhere in their name.
But enter any genderbend fic? Goodbye number! I have yet to find a genderbend fic where they kept the ku in the name.
Another note that fic users should use sometime: when the OFA users call Izuku Nine they're probably calling him Ku, which is adorable as all get out.
*SPOILERS FOR SEASON 6 OF BNHA*
So I thought, in one of the last episodes, in the scene where Uraraka defended Midoriya so people at UA shelter won't throw him out and will accept him. What would happen, if Inko ran out of the crowd to Izuku?
Just imagine: rain, Izuku arrives at UA after all the scene with "I'm sorry Izuku" & the class capturing him, and people shout at him for making UA not a safe place. And then, when Uraraka is ready to jump to the roof.... "THATS MY SON"
Inko runs from the crowd towards all worn out Izuku, hugs him tight with her head on his chest and cries "IZUKU, MT BABY... WHAT HAPPEND TO YOU ? WHY WASNT I THERE TO PROTECT YOU? My poor baby boy..."
She sobs while Izuku just hugs her and breaks into tears himself. Bakugou comes along and pats on her back to try to calm her. I see two outcomes:
1. All the other parents ran to their kids. Mitsuki to Bakugou, Uraraka's parents to her, all the other parents or friends of the heroes and students just make it a hugging and crying mess. And then 2.
Or
2. People understand that this boy, even though he is covered in dirt and blood , looks like a villain, has multiple quirks and is being chased by AFO, is still a normal boy. He has friends, a mother, a life that was stolen from him just like from them and he is trying his best to get it back. He just... Isn't as lucky. Instead of hiding in the shelter with everyone, he tried to save them and risk his life and the happiness of his mother.
Just... Wow
