Working on the under bodice construction, pictured is both the liner as well as the outer layer. This will be the piece that is seen threw the lace. Boning is shown where it will be placed. Scant seams were sewn to make a channel for the boning. This gives the garment structor so when it's worn the garment dosent sag. Next steps in the making of the wedding dress for @alanciagirl are to hand make bias tape, iron it to the correct size. (This is a very involved and time consuming process that often includes some purnt fingers). Then attach the right sides with a sewing mashine using the set seam allowances. Rolling over the ends & hand sewing the back to the garment as not to have any stitches showing on the front. This gives a very high-quality looking garment.
