Dadzawa & Izuku Fanfic Recs
(because that’s the 99% fics I read and I love them)
Anything by AoKoiClem. They are a genius with fluff. They have 42 BNHA works, all of them with Dadzawa & Izuku (there’s a lot of Dadmic and some dadmight, but all of them are Dadzawa). All of them fluffy (except the angsty one that shall not be named), but with some angst. AWESOME REPRESENTATION. Trans, non-binary, asexual, aromantic, aroace, autistic, OCD... rep.
Main series:
Echoes Through Time: Dadmic and Dadzawa. Trans Midoriya and trans Aizawa. Little by little, they start bonding until they are basically a family.
Through Thick and Thin: ABO world but no Devil’s Tango or anything like that. Omega Izuku with Inko bad parenting. Omega Aizawa and Alpha Hizashi start caring about him like he was his pup. NO ADOPTION YET. But we dream. This is my favorite fic of the author. Featuring a found family pack, Bakugou being the good older brother he is to Midoriya (after redemption), and a good friend Mina Ashido. Also, I know ABO can sometimes be weird, but this is just very cute. No weird things.
A Light in the Darkness: Homeless Izuku is found by Erasermic + Hitoshi and he’s adopted. I think this is more angsty than the others. Autistic Aizawa. Plus, Izuku’s nickname being bunny.

I'll Always be Proud of You: The angsty one that shall not be named. Izuku and Aizawa get trapped in a collapsing building. 10/10 Crying experience, recommended in TripAdvisor.
The Ghost of a Lonely Boy: Ghost! Izuku visits Aizawa at the hospital after the USJ. He’s there to comfort people before dying but now that Aizawa is out of danger but somehow can still see him, he gets attached. Erasermic adopts a ghost one of them can’t even see. Hagakure and Todoroki as Izuku’s best friends. All Might slander.
His Family... : I forgot this super angsty one existed. Please read the tags. Aizawa loses something he didn’t even know he had but now there’s a void. Found family takes care of him. But read the tags!!!
Just Add Kittens: the greatest One-shot ever made. Toddler Izuku adopted by Erasermic (in the fic he’s already adopted), brings home kittens. Autistic and trans Izuku and Aizawa.

I'm Sick of myself, Dad. : Long one-shot. Izuku is born with a quirk that makes him sick, he’s later abandoned. Erasermic adopts and takes care of him. The catch? In this fic, Erasermic are villains. Kind of. They help the league, but are not bad. LOV as a family and they would all die for Izuku. Shindeku for the heart and big brother Dabi. Do you want more?
Floaty Feelings and Swings. : Izuku steals Aizawa’s capture weapon to make himself a swing on a bad day. Erasermic are worried and talk with him.

Aizawa Shouta's Babysitters Club by beetlejuulce : drabbles about Aizawa starting off as Izuku’s babysitter to moving with Inko and him, to basically becoming his dad. Featuring Izuku from 3 years old to 16, a very good parent (aka Inko), auntie Nemuri and Uncle Hizashi, and a dad in denial. Really good.
His Kidilante by Otaku 6337 : This is the main fic of the series (the rest are one-shots of the same universe). Basically, Dadzawa has been wanting to adopt this vigilante for years now... If he only knew what’s his name. Featuring TodoShinDeku and sassy but shy Vigilante Izuku.
Just Trying to Survive (and learn to love along the way) by floorplay : Aizawa is on patrol when Midoriya calls him and asks him to get him. Aizawa finds his problem child, bleeding and crying. Basically, Erasermic adopts Izuku after they discover Inko is ab*sive. Featuring Shindeku, Bakugou redemption and All Might being an idiot (but he gets better).
Blood is thicker than water, or? by IAmShy : Aizawa ends up adopting two kids, his boyfriend isn’t surprised in the slightest. Follow the adventures of the Erasermic family! Hitoshi and Izuku trying to be social, both protecting each other, Bakugou redemption (and something else is coming), the kids having crushes, Izuku still being the Problem Magnet he is... The Teacher Chat by Itslivybear : The title. But Erasermic adopting Izuku and Hitoshi before UA. Bakugou slander so Monoma replaces him. Aizawa being a super hyper protective dad. He learns his children crushes and promises to go for them. It’s very funny. I just can’t not recommend it. All Might is dumb at first but then het gets better.
But Who Saves You? by poe_tate_toe : OFA goes wrong and is killing Izuku. Dadzawa is the worried adoptive dad he is and diesn’t know how to deal with it. Angst. Angst. Angst. Angst. Really, super angsty. But there’s still a bit of fluff. The fluff are flashbacks basically. ALL MIGHT GETS WHAT HE DESERVES. And Aizawa is there to threaten him. It’s only 3 chapters long and already completed.
not stolen, only borrowed by ive_been_losing_sleep : AFO is Izuku’s father, he tortures him because he doesn’t show his true quirk. Aizawa rescues him when he’s 5 and Erasermic adopts him. This is a series with 2 works: the first one are 4 chapters of how they rescued Izuku and their first weeks together. The second one is Izuku in his UA days. This fic makes me mad. Not bc of the author. But I hate All Might in this one. I’m waiting for him to get punched.
Family Together by lostintheclouds321 : Young pro-heroes, Eraserhead and Present Mic, decide to adopt a kid. Who they end up adopting? Exactly! Izuku! This is like a long one-shot but as they are 2 chapters, they are in this category. Cute Izuku, good friends Tenya and Bakugou. I also hate All Might in this one. AFO is Izuku’s dad but he’s not important, Izu is. Just, read it.

Not His Fault by ASmoothCriminal : Izuku is used by Overhaul as an analyst since he was a kid. He’s been tortured, but still wanted to protect Eri. When All Might offers him OFA, Overhaul tells him to accept. And like this, Izuku turns out to be a (not willingly) UA traitor to Overhaul. Aizawa is suspicious of the kid practically since he entered the classroom.
Please (Don't) Believe Me by ASmoothCriminal : Izuku gets hit by a lying quirk and can’t stop lying. After some misunderstandings, Aizawa helps.
Scared of You by ASmoothCriminal : After some villains try to harm Izuku and Aizawa saves him, the student seems to have conflicted feelings. Angst. But it’s still great.
Accidental Bonding by What_Is_Sleep_T_T : Midoriya activates Erasure. How, you’ll ask. The explanation is simple, but not any less embarrassing to Izuku and Aizawa. Eraser has a kid now.
Blood and Ash by stardustedruins : Izuku has a nightmare. He and Aizawa talk about it on a late night. Angst but good. There are good things in life. This is one.
The Essay Writing Competition by stardustedruins : Nedzu organizes an Essay writing competition. But he tells Aizawa Izuku HAS TO participate. All the teachers will joke about this forever.
A Simple Braid by Baby_Blue_Teacup : Fem Izuku Au. There are another two works (one of them Dadzawa), but this is my favorite. Izumi is caught by Aizawa in the common room doing homework past curfew. She’s really considering chopping her hair, but Aizawa has a better solution.
Nostalgia by writerenthusiast : Izuku talks with Aizawa about losing people. Aizawa decides to tell him his story. Angst. Angst. But also fluff. The Dadzawa is great, as well as the writing. Don’t ask, just read.
[Warmth] by Mo0nligh5 (Aki15118) : Izuku has been having this very bad nightmares, they are even starting to affect his daily life. Similar to Blood and Ash. But is great!
