Do you think Brad shut down discussion on Grouchy Goat so quick because Rachel’s beginning part of the presentation triggered him, even a little bit? Like the images of pigs and suffering?
the thing about brad is that he’s evil. no he’s not. he manipulative. he does nice things for other people. hes a shark. hes a mouse. everyone hates him. no they dont. he wants everyone to crash and burn. he wants whats best for everyone. he wont be nice to anyone ever. he will go out of his way to get his coworker a date. dont get close to him. why are you running away.
I believe deep in my soul that Brad lied when he said he filled out the test randomly and he did actually get mouse.
It’s about the inner thoughts not matching with the public persona.
okay so was it insanely obvious to everybody but me that the reason brad shuts down grouchy goat in 2x02 because they’re leaning really heavily on the slaughter/animal death thing and he’s still very traumatised bc of kate ?? was this obvious to everybody else because im literally JUST catching onto this oh my GOD
brad things that made me crease upon rewatching ‘the convention’
- his tiny ₕᵢ when he thinks poppy is a little boy
- “shut the freak up”
- actually the entire negotiation scene is gold
- the fact that his plan for a new mq streamer is a fake japanese schoolgirl that he is going to control and act as using a mo-cap suit
not to overanalyse things but Brad wearing shirts with flowers (and paisley and i think?? little bees??? on the purple one?? could be flowers also) symbolises the fact that although it is kind of hidden, Brad does have a soft side. and this is a stretch bc it’s not entirely consistent, but he does tend to wear the patterned shirts more in eps where he’s actually helping people/being nice (getting Dana her job back, helping David).
also, despite calling David a pussy in s2e1, when they’re actually talking to him, he IS nicer to David than Jo is (he’s quick to say Jo came to him and not vice versa, he says David can do better whereas Jo is like ‘nah’). he’s wearing paisley there, not flowers, but it’s still a “nicer” pattern than just stripes.
also also, he says he filled out the test randomly, but his outfit DOES match Sue’s (white shirt with cute pattern + blue sweater/cardigan), which makes me think he did fill out the test accurately and is just being a little bitch about it and him and Sue should best mouse friends
and last but not least, some wild speculation: he’s wearing a kind of leather (?) bomber style jacket in one of the s2 teasers. makes me wonder if he’s trying to appear tougher, just like David puts on a leather jacket in ep 5, which just means he’s just as sad as David lmao

Mythic Quest s01e11: Everlight

Mythic Quest is really like “Yeah, this is a workplace sitcom that takes place in a realistic world, no, there’s no superpowers or magic at all. Oh, Brad? Yeah, he’s allowed to be a little psychic as a treat.”
Yay!!! I'm so glad that they are acknowledging (hard word to write) that Brad liked to be the homie bc it was in some ways challenging and that he liked the challange to make people buy useless stuff it is not necessarily about the money but about it being a puzzle that is difficult and will take an effort and then when you finally win it is satisfing bc of the effort.

I don’t usually see many similarities between Abed and Brad because Danny Pudi plays them pretty differently. BUT I was rewatching “Introduction to Finality” and Brad does have similar mannerisms to Evil Abed. I know this was probably 100% not done on purpose, but I do think it’s interesting that Danny Pudi seems to associate certain hand gestures and a specific cadence of speech with being “evil”.
i love brad bakshi so much because everyone at mythic quest thinks he's a cunning villain or something when he's just some petty dude who hangs out in his office with all his little stim toys and his "manipulations" are like. Buying a mug with a custom design on it
Hi welcome to my Ted talk where I get unhealthily hyperfixated on an actor (Danny Pudi) after rewatching a show that they’re in (community) and then going down a rabbit hole and eventually becoming obsessed with a narcissistic capitalist federal criminal (Brad Bakshi) because goDDAMNIT HES JUST SO BABYGIRL.
As I sit here rewatching Mythic quest immediately after finishing season three for the first time, I am slowly accepting the dreaded notion that I will eventually have to rewatch Breaking Brad
Also I had to go through the painful fucking 37 minutes that was Dark Quiet Death and I think it broke a part of my soul that I will never get back. 😋
