Probably a very very hot take but I think even the final 15 minutes were quiet gentle and romantic like??
It was sad of course, but that’s not one of the things listed it it? It was quiet and gentle, it wasn’t some big shouting match. They weren’t arguing, not really, not like their other arguments. No bickering or yelling ‘I don’t even like you!’ They were just trying to convince each other to stay together. There were parts where even the music stopped playing. Quiet and gentle.
And obviously it was romantic. Ironically, the reason they fell apart is because they both wanted to stay together. Because they LOVE eachother. Everything they said and did in that scene came from a place of love. I think it’s pretty romantic to ask for your partner to stay with you.
Idk man I actually instantly agreed with Neil when he called it quiet, gentle and romantic but that’s just me.
Am I the only one that actually agrees with Neil about season 2 being "quiet, gentle and romantic"? OBVIOUSLY not the final 15, but the rest was terribly sweet and so so so romantic.
The dancing? "I thought we carved it out for ourselves" "so did I"??? "Our car"????? Are you kiiiiidding me????
