After a year of watching CR, the cast’s panels and the Between the Sheets interviews… I think I can safely say that the most important lesson I’ve learned from them is how life-changing it can be to surround yourself with good people.
Surround yourself with people who are open and vocal about how much they love and admire you, who call themselves your biggest fan and who are there to support you through your path to greatness.
Surround yourself with people who enjoy their own interests unapologetically, who genuinely seek for the things that will make them happy and who are not restrained by what people will think of them.
Surround yourself with people who aren’t afraid to show affection through words or physical gestures, who are shamelessly in love with their special other and who see that their love is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Surround yourself with people with healing energy, people who will listen to you attentively, who will offer a helping hand when the world is falling down around you, who will try their best to understand your struggles.
Surround yourself with people that are loud, who aren’t afraid to exist brightly and colorfully, who laugh and cry and have fun and feel with every fiber of their being.
Most importantly, though, be that kind of person. Put positive energy into the world and you will find it coming back to you. This group of nerds is just a taste of what unapologetic genuine shameless love can accomplish. And I feel grateful every day for the reminder that there’s someone out there who, when you least expect it, will show up and love you and make life a thousand times better.

Brian W Foster is a goddamn inspiration and good person who has shown time and again that he cares deeply and emphatically about others. It is a delight to watch him work his magic on Talks and BtS and be a total goof on Game Ranch. This man loves the community. He deserves some critter love in return.
I had a nice nap then woke up to remember some of ya’ll drove a sweet supportive deeply caring man off the internet. Do you think Ashley Johnson would be marrying him if he was genuinely a not good person? The Queer community is very important and close to her heart. It’s the same for him. I trust not only her judgment but him in his actions, his own care. “Don’t forget to love each other” is a statement he made that’s on a LGBTQ positive t-shirt for a reason. Look at how he guides people through really hard topics on Between The Sheets. Marisha would have never done that interview without him, she said so herself. She knew he’d be her rock holding her hand. The same goes for Matt’s interview which was also a tearjerker. The pretend asshole character is a freaking character! That’s the bit, that’s the joke. Because, he’s as far from that as you can get and he’s striving every day to be a better person. That’s why it’s so over the top with the silly insults. No one’s meant to believe any of that, and he’s been playing along. On top of all that what he was accused of was not even said by him, he didn’t make any comments other than wanting a break from political vitriol because he wanted to work on being a better person. Guys, I’m bitter, I’m gonna stay bitter for a long while.
UnDeadwood is fantastic. Even If you've never watched Critical Role, please give this Mini-Series a try!
This was the best end I could have ever hope for. Fucking terrible for my emotions but it made me cry. Great story. My hat off to all the players and crew and to fucking GM Brian W Foster, the brilliant bastard! I have never been so glued to the screen inspite of my ADD.
I hope we'll see UnDeadwood again. This is better than any TV show I've seen in the last years.
