It may not be a French cover but

I'm in love with this Korean cover of Bride of the living dummy!

A thing about the covers and their differences in French.

I feel like some of the covers of the french editions are legitimately creepier  that than some of the originals.

Take for exemple the beast from the east.

What do you see ? One of the beasts, yes, but what makes it creepy ? The fact that it’s reaching at you, and it doesn’t look like something you’d see, combined with the surreal environnement that is colorful, could lure into some false security. Because hey, that beast wouldn’t be that scary if it wasn’t for their weird game.

Then one day in France, someone thought it’d be a good idea to make THIS for the cover.

This does not lure you into some fake security, this is something that could rip you to shreds before you even know what it was, you don’t what this is since it’s hidden behind a rock. That coupled with the absolutely bleak forest behind it makes for a truly nightmarish sight.
