Throughout the almost 3 years I’ve been in the brony fandom, I’ve been able to discover an enormous amount of bronymusic of all kinds and genres, and I honestly think too many of these songs have fallen under many people’s radars too many times.

Hello, I’m Evdog, an Australian Brony Musician. I am currently in the process of creating two tracks for the upcoming Balloon Party album, “Equine Morality”. One of these two tracks, a folk/rock song titled “Apples”, is intended to have four vocalists, one for Applebloom, Big Mac, Granny Smith and Applejack respectively.
Virtually everything for this track has been finished and finalised, except for the Applejack vocal part, in which the original vocalist ran into issues beyond her control. With the submission deadline being in 17 and a half days (June 12th), I am desperate to find a new vocalist.
If you are a singer, or a VA that has wanted to give singing a try, please send in an example of your work. I am seeking someone who can give their voice a twangy or folky feel. The part consists of a verse and two choruses.
You WILL NOT be required to imitate Applejack, so don’t not enter because of that. Also, don’t not enter because you feel you aren’t experienced or well known enough. The candidate chosen will be the one with the voice most suited to the musical style, not the one with the most fans. You will, however, need to be available to record clear, quality audio before the album deadline.
