Hoseok - Going with the age factor again, I think Hobi would fall somewhere in the middle. He’d probably get married before most of the maknae line, but I think he’d have a long engagement and wait a few years before having kids. He would just enjoy being engaged/married to you for a while.
Yoongi - So the perception is that this man is married to his career, but I don’t think that’s entirely true. Sure, marriage is not at the forefront of his mind, but I think he’s open to it. Jungkook - Okay, hear me out: JK is shy and private - but he’s also super competitive. He would definitely feel the need to do something as impressive as his hyungs. He would also want to take every opportunity to show you how much you mean to him. I imagine he’s the one that would pull you up onstage during a concert to propose, and would probably have ARMY help somehow (maybe by singing or chanting when he gives the cue). There wouldn’t be a dry eye in the stadium.
Jin - So Jin would for sure do something really romantic and elaborate, but not public. Maybe a scavenger hunt? And all the clues would take you to places that were special to the both of you or be gifts you gave each other or be mementos from all the good times you shared. Then when you reached the end there would be flowers and candles all set up. He’d get down on one knee and he’d have a speech prepared and it would be both sincere and light-hearted, and you’d want to say “no” just to mess with him but all you could say would be, “Yes, yes, yes!”
Jimin - I feel like Jimin could go either way. I can see him doing something flashy, but I can also see him asking impulsively if he gets caught up in the moment. Maybe you’re jewelry shopping together - not even looking at rings, just bracelets and necklaces and stuff - and he notices the engagement ring section. So he asks you which one you like and you humor him, thinking he’s just goofing around. But then he tells the salesperson he’ll take the ring and you’re shocked as he kneels down right there in the store and asks you to marry him because he loves you so much he can’t go another day not being engaged to you.
Namjoon - So I think Namjoon would keep things low-key and private, but still make it special. He’d be the one to recreate your first date, down to the last detail. You’d hike the same trail you first hiked together, sharing jelly candies just like you did on your first date, and when you reached the top of the mountain, you’d have a picnic lunch. Over lunch, he’d initiate a deep conversation about the future and your mutual hopes and dreams, before finally pulling out a ring and explaining the wonderful future he wanted to share with you.
Yoongi - I have a hard time imagining Yoongi doing anything grandiose. He might write a song for you and (very nonchalantly) propose that way, but I really think he would be the kind to just blurt out, “Let’s get married,” while you’re snuggling in bed one lazy morning. And it might seem like a spur-of-the-moment decision, but really, he’s been thinking long and hard about it for a while and he’s absolutely sure he wants to marry you. Hoseok - Maybe I’m wrong here, but the way Hoseok reacts whenever the other boys compliment his looks makes me feel like he’d feel a little awkward about having his hair touched. So, I have to preface this by saying I think every member is completely open to finding their person anywhere. I believe they ALL place more importance on a person’s character than their ethnicity or nationality, and they’ve all expressed attraction to Western celebrities before, so dating a non-Asian is likely not an issue. And though the chances are higher they will end up with a Korean partner because that’s where they live and that’s who surrounds them, I don’t think any of them purposely limit their dating pools to strictly Asians. With that said, the following is merely my opinion about who’s most likely to date a non-Asian.

Namjoon - No surprise here. As the only fluent English-speaker and arguably the most Westernized of the group, Namjoon would be the most likely to date a non-Asian. (Okay, so, when I first got into BTS, Namjoon was my initial bias, and the very first BTS fanfic I attempted was about an American girl randomly meeting a handsome stranger at her local grocery store. They get to chatting and feel an instant mutual attraction. He tells her he’s from Korea, she mentions she’s always wanted to try Korean BBQ, and he takes the opportunity to invite her to dinner. They go, have a great time, and he later reveals he’s the leader of BTS. It was an admittedly lame story and I never finished it, but yeah. My point is I can definitely imagine Namjoon dating a foreigner.)
Jungkook - As JK’s gotten older, he’s shown he wants to be himself and do things his own way, unrestrained by a traditionally conservative culture, so dating someone outside that culture would seem only natural. I think growing up in such an unforgiving industry has caused him to develop a very accepting and non-judgmental heart, and he has so much love and empathy for others who “don’t fit in” too. I have no doubt he would make sure his non-Asian significant other would never feel like an outsider.
Jimin - This man is in love with love. He just wants to love and be loved. He flirts with literally everyone he meets, so it’s obvious he finds all kinds of people attractive. I have no trouble imagining him being absolutely head-over-heels with a partner from anywhere. The only reason he’s not higher on my list is because of language-barrier limitations.
Taehyung - I feel like Tae is especially sensitive to energies and vibes, and is attracted to people who match his energy, regardless of origin. He’s also very cultured and a traveler, so I can easily see him meeting and falling for a fellow traveler. But again, he’s in the middle due to language barriers.
Hoseok - I’m honestly not sure about Hobi, I can see him going either way. As one of the older members, I feel he may be influenced a little bit more by tradition, but he’s also not afraid to do his own thing. I guess I see him more with an Asian partner ultimately, but being the kind of person who gets along with everyone, I don’t doubt he would date the occasional non-Asian too.
Yoongi - My man in particular is the one who really couldn’t care less about you being Asian/non-Asian. What’s important to him is how comfortable you are around each other and that you respect each other. That being said, he might find it easier to have that level of comfort and respect with someone from the same background, which is why I have him farther down on the list. Also, he doesn’t get out much, so the chances of him meeting someone outside Korea are lower.
Jin - I think most people consider Jin to be the most traditional member and expect him to mostly date people within his own culture, and I tend to agree. I fully expect him to marry a Korean girl one day. But... I also believe that if he met someone he liked, he wouldn’t pass on the opportunity to develop a relationship with you just because you aren’t Korean. Because I mean, we all know he has a tendency to do the unexpected and not care what anyone thinks.

Namjoon - Sweet Joonie. Our leader carries so much weight on his shoulders, and he can only be strong for so long. We’ve seen him tear up plenty of times during ending ments when his love for ARMY overwhelms him, and I think the same thing could happen when he’s reunited with you. He may try to put on a brave face for your sake, but when he finally wraps his arms around your neck and pulls you against his chest after being apart for so long, he’ll have a hard time holding back his tears as all the weight on him lifts.
Taehyung - Tae’s not afraid to cry and he definitely will on those hard days during tour when he just misses you so much, but I imagine him being more excited and giddy than tearful when he finally returns home to you. I can easily picture him skipping through the airport, shrieking in delight when he spots you, then practically tackling you to the ground in a huge hug. Overall, a very loud, very chaotic, very loving and affectionate reunion with only a few happy tears.
Jin - Like Hobi, Jin just wants you to be happy, so he’ll keep things light and fun. He’ll march right up to you and plant a big smooch on you before he even says hello, then he’ll crack some jokes, tickle you, and tease you until you’re both laughing so hard you’re crying. Make no mistake, he missed you more than words can convey. But having fun with you - joking around and laughing with the one person who just gets him better than anyone else in the world - is what he missed the most.

Taehyung - Okay, so, you know how Tae’s face lights up whenever he sees a baby or a puppy? How he goes all heart-eyes and his smile reaches maximum boxiness? Yeah, that’s the face I imagine him making whenever he sees you blush - especially if he’s the one making your cheeks flush. He would 100% tease you to make you grow redder and repeatedly call you “cute”.
Jin - Teasing is his love language; he lives to poke fun at you at every opportunity. He takes pride in being able to turn you pink and knows all the right buttons to push. Of course, two can play that game, and you throw it right back at him, making his ears turn bright red whenever he takes his teasing too far.
Jimin - I swear I can hear him saying, “Oh, did I make you blush, jagi?” He’d feign surprise and innocence, but he would know exactly what he did to tinge your skin. His teasing would be flirty: he would tell you how pretty you look with rosy cheeks and press kisses to each of them - which would make your face burn even hotter. But I really don’t think you would mind.
Jungkook - I have JK in the middle because as much as he likes to joke around and tease you, he can be shy, too. Knowing he made you blush will likely make him blush, and his teasing would probably be a defense mechanism to shift the focus from his flushed face to yours. But if you’re blushing because of something that has nothing to do with him, he’ll think you’re adorable, and he’ll have fun poking your sides and giggling until you hide behind your hands.
Hoseok - He will think you’re sooo cute when you blush, but I don’t think he’d give you a hard time. He’ll laugh and hug you and tell you how precious you are, not make fun of you. And he might flirt and tease you occasionally just to see your cheeks heat up, but it’s never his intention to embarrass you.
Namjoon - Like Hobi, Joonie won’t ever really tease you for blushing, but he’ll take it a step further and shield you from anyone else’s ridicule. If you don’t want anyone to see your red face, he’ll stand in front of you or cup your cheeks in his hands until you calm down. He feels very protective of you, and he would never want you to be embarrassed. But when you’re alone together - seeing you blush because of him does give him a thrill.
Yoongi - He can banter with the best of them, but he doesn’t take any pleasure in your embarrassment. His sense of humor doesn’t include teasing you for something you can’t help. If he sees your cheeks turning pink, he won’t draw any attention to it and he’ll change the subject. He won’t stand for anyone else teasing you either, and will shut down everyone who tries. But if he can tell you’re not feeling self-conscious, seeing you blush will be so endearing to him, and he won’t be able to hold back his gummy grin.

Thank you for the request! 💜 Honestly, I don’t know a ton about the boys’ real relationships with their families, so these are just my opinions mostly based on their personalities. Also, I don’t think any of them would be a mama’s boy in the sense that they’re spoiled, babied, or dependent.

Hoseok - I mean, the boy wrote a whole song for his mama expressing his love and appreciation and his desire to take care of her. He’s not afraid to let the world know he loves his mom, and something tells me he spoils her with gifts on the regular. I think her approval and support mean a lot to him.
Jungkook - He is Bangtan’s baby, afterall. And if I’m not mistaken, JK has a good relationship with both his parents. He’s called them for help while filming Run BTS and has shared how they met and fell in love. I feel like he has a lot of love and respect for them for raising him well and then giving him the freedom to pursue his dream. But I’m sure leaving home at such a young age and being the youngest member of the group has been hard for him, and has left him with a greater desire for familial love and connection than the other members.
Jin - Jin mentions his mom a lot in interviews and it’s obvious he talks to her often. He’s said he can talk to her for hours at a time. He also made a cover of the song Mom for Mother’s Day and dedicated it to his parents. I imagine his relationship with his parents is a lot like his relationship with his younger members: playful and teasing, but ultimately loving and caring. I think being a good son that his mother can be proud of is really important to him - and I’m sure his mom is extremely proud of her boy.
Taehyung - Based on how good he is with children and how much he wants a family of his own, I assume he was raised by a loving mother. But I know he was very close with his grandmother, so maybe he’s more of a grandmama’s boy? Either way, he’s obviously been nurtured and has a loving, nurturing heart as a result.
Jimin - Okay, so, I don’t know much about his relationship with his mother (from what I can gather, she’s always been supportive), but we’ve seen some really beautiful glimpses of his relationship with his father. One example is when his dad sent him flowers for his birthday with a note saying, “My lovely son… I love you.” The open expression of affection - especially between a father and a son - is not very common in Asian cultures, so the bond Jimin has with his dad is remarkable to see. Definitely a dada’s boy.
Namjoon - I think Namjoon is close with his mom, but I really don’t see him as a mama’s boy. I’m sure he loves her, respects her, and takes care of her, but he’s such a good leader that it’s hard to imagine him needing his mother’s approval. I see him having an adult relationship with his parents, one based on mutual respect and understanding. He can probably talk to his mom about anything and seeks her advice, but he remains independent and makes his own decisions.
Yoongi - So I know some people will go so far as to speculate that Yoongi was raised in an emotionally abusive family, but I won’t make any presumptions about that. It’s hard to know if Yoongi was just joking or exaggerating when he said his mom told him things like she found him under a bridge or that he looked like a dumpling, but it is no secret that she (and his dad) were strongly opposed to him pursuing a career in music. They eventually came around and they have a stable and somewhat loving relationship now, but I think it’s safe to say Yoongi is most definitely not a mama’s boy.

Taehyung - Boy is extra™ romantic, loves to make you feel special, and can definitely keep a secret. You would have no clue what Tae was up to and be 100% surprised. I actually wrote a story about this exact situation, you can check it out here if you’re interested.
Hoseok - So I wouldn’t have automatically put Hobi this high on the list, but did you see how he waited outside JK’s door with a cake to surprise him during his b-day live? And how he bought a bunch of slices to put together when he couldn’t find a whole cake? That took planning and effort, and was sooo thoughtful. Now just imagine Hobi doing all that and more for you.
Jin - Another romantic, but a more private one. Jin would plan a super intimate - but fun and silly - surprise party for just the two of you. There would be balloons and streamers from the floor to the ceiling, he’d make your favorite dinner and dessert, and you’d end up slow dancing in the kitchen while he whisper-sings into your ear.
Jimin - So I have Jimin in the middle because I see him planning a surprise birthday gateway versus a party. He would take you on some exotic vacation - somewhere you’ve always wanted to go together - and would be more than happy to spoil you with anything and everything you wanted to do and see and eat and buy.
Jungkook - I don’t really see JK planning a surprise party, but he might plan a surprise experience, like taking you to an amusement park or something. Or he would surprise you by planning to do something you’ve always wanted to do, like skydiving or bungee jumping. And JK would have a hard time keeping it a secret; he’d have way too much fun teasing you about having a surprise planned for your birthday.
Namjoon - Let’s be honest here, Joon cannot keep a secret. I mean, how many times has he spoiled an upcoming song or project on a live? Namjoon might try to plan a surprise party, but you know he would let it slip at some point. But, knowing him better than anyone, you’d understand, and you’d still be touched by his efforts to surprise you for your birthday.
Yoongi - Parties are not Yoongi’s scene, and just the thought of planning one - especially a surprise one - exhausts him. He just doesn’t have the social energy. BUT he still wants to make your birthday special, so he’ll show his love for you in his own way. We’re talking extra cuddles in the morning, breakfast in bed, lunch and flowers delivered to you, a spotless house and a cup of tea waiting for you when you get home, dinner a la Chef Min, a movie and more snuggles, and your gift would be that he finally assembled that piece of furniture you bought months ago.

Namjoon loves your perfectly imperfect body, and he finds your confidence so sexy. He also knows you love his big, hot body, so he would send some nudes to you occasionally, too.
Taehyung - Tae’s the king of taking shirtless selfies in bed, and if he’s posting that stuff on Twitter/Weverse for the whole world to see, just imagine the naughty pics he would reserve for your eyes only. And he wouldn’t be shy about asking for pics from you, his gorgeous s/o, either (or telling you exactly what he wants to see). Exchanging nudes would be such a common occurrence between you and Tae, neither of you would even think twice before hitting send.
Jimin - Jimin would act shy about it at first and be a blushing, giggling mess, but if you’re shy too, his Flirt Mode will activate and he’ll turn into the tease we all know and love. Jungkook - JK is difficult to place. I mean, he’s young, less conservative, and has been experimenting with sexier performances lately, but he’s also shy, and mindful of his idol image. Jin - Jin’s another one who’s difficult to figure out. Jungkook - Boy is Gen Z through and through. He knows all the memes and trends and challenges and social media personalities, so I would not be the least bit surprised to find out he’s secretly on Tumblr. His blog would probably be a disorganized mixture of all his varied interests, from music and art to sports and fitness and everything in between - with a healthy dose of memes sprinkled in.
Hoseok - Hobi is always somehow in-the-know when it comes to ARMY’s online activities. He knows our inside jokes and what we like and how we react to things, so clearly he’s been lurking. His blog would be as fun, colorful, organized, and welcoming as he is, full of positivity - and dancing. He would also be The King of supportive comments/reblogs.
Taehyung - #Vante would definitely have an aesthetic photography/travel blog. You know the type. Dreamy, idyllic pictures from hidden corners all around the world that fill you with a longing to wander. And the occasional thirst trap he’d delete 0.02 seconds after posting. He’s unpredictable like that.
Namjoon - I don’t see Namjoon down in the depths of Tumblr. He’d have a perfectly curated blog, full of art and nature and biking and god-tier boyfriend material, but he would rarely interact with others. He would just be here to post what he likes and then he’d be out.
Yoongi - Grandpa’s too old for Tumblr. Back in his day, they had MySpace and LiveJournal and kids today just don’t understand. He might have a music blog he updates every few weeks, but he really doesn’t understand this platform. (Although… I wouldn’t put it past him to have a secret fanfic blog.)
Jin - Would join Tumblr just to follow things he’s interested in and would virtually never post on his own blog other than the occasional reblog. You’d see him all over though, in the comments and in everyone’s asks, making jokes, low-key flirting, and - of course - complimenting himself.
Jimin - Has absolutely zero interest in and no time for Tumblr. It’s likely he has never even heard of it. He’s probably also painfully aware of the toxicity prevalent in the world of social media and understandably wants to keep his distance from all of it. He much prefers interacting with people in person or with ARMY on their official app.
