Namjoon's Love Of Bookstores
A/N: Y'all, it's my first fic!! It's a little short, I hope you enjoy :))

It was early in the morning, and Namjoon quietly crept into Yoongi’s room.
“Hyung?” he whispered in a low voice.
“Namjoon-ah? Why are you here..” Yoongi replied in a sleepy tone.
“I wanted to ask, there’s this bookstore down the street. Is it okay that you come with me? It won’t be long, please Hyung,”
Yoongi laid there in dismay and thought about how happy Namjoon would be if he went. He never really asked for anything, so he decided to just go with him.
“Fine…just give me 10 minutes to get ready,” Yoongi said reluctantly.
“Thank you, Yoongi-Hyung”
-Time Skip-
Namjoon and Yoongi both walk into the store, and Namjoon’s face lights up. You could literally see sparkles in his eye if you stare at him for a while. Yoongi just follows him around. He doesn’t really see how this is interesting honestly.
After a while, Namjoon’s nose starts itching for some reason. He doesn’t know why, so he just rubs his nose and tries to ignore it. The itch continues in his nose until it finally gives in.
“Hh’nghx!” He tried muffling into his hands.
“Are you alright?” Yoongi asks in concern. The younger one doesn’t typically sneeze too much, so something must be up.
“Yeah, I’m fine. It must be allergies or something…”
“We should just go back soon,” Yoongi tells him.
Namjoon continues to look around and he pulls out this really old book (big mistake) that really set him off.
“H’tchhiu! Essh’hah! Heh’etshhuh!”
“Okay, Namjoon we are leaving now. Okay?” Yoongi says in a nagging voice.
“Yeah, Hyung, do you have a tissue?” he asks.
Yoongi digs through his pockets and manages to find some.
“Thank you, how are you always prepared for things like this?”
“With the way the other members are, how can I not,”

My first headcannon! And it is about Yoongi too. I hope this was to your liking, anon.
🤧: What does their sneeze sound like? (Description, spelling, or both!)
I think that Yoongi’s sneeze sounds kind of harsh and rough, but quiet at the same time. We only have like ONE audible actually snz from Yoongi, so I have to use my imagination. I tend to use the “t” sound a lot for his spellings like “eh’tchhu!!”.
😩: Do they tend to sneeze just once or twice, or multiple times? Do they have fits frequently or rarely? Does how many times they sneeze depend on the cause?
Yoonie usually just sneezes one and done. When it is due to allergies though, maybe 2, 3, or 4 times at most. Same when he is sick.
😭: When they’re sick, do they try to downplay their symptoms, or do they treat every little cold like the plague? Do they whine a lot, or do they complain quietly or even just in their head?
When he’s sick, I think that he hides his symptoms. When the members find out though, I believe his needier side comes out and he tends to complain a little bit. But on rare occasions, because he is very good at hiding his symptoms.
💦: How wet are their sneezes? Do they spray barely at all, or are you gonna need an umbrella? Do they try to cover at all, or just let it go? Do they sniffle a lot when they’re sick or allergies are bugging them?
I think that his sneezes are pretty dry, but when he is really, really sick then his sneezes are very wet.
😔: What are their “tells” when they’re not feeling their best? Do they sleep more or less? Do they become easily irritated, aggressive, snap at little things? Or do they withdraw and become quieter, cry at the drop of a hat, stay in the background? What’s the one surefire way that one of their loved ones would be able to tell that they’re sick?
His voice sounds very quiet and low. He has a short temper, and is wayyy sleepier than usual. He can also be very sensitive. It is low-key kind of cute.
🎤: How does their voice change when they’re sick or allergies are bugging them? Does their voice get lower? Scratchy? Raspy? Can you hear any congestion in their voice or do they hide it well? Do they avoid speaking too much because of a sore throat and coughing, or do they try to talk through those things?
His voice cracks a little bit, and as I said before it gets quiet and low. Maybe a little raspy as well if his throat hurts. If he has a very stuffed up and/or runny nose, then his voice can get congested. When his throat is sore, he doesn’t talk much.
😳: Are they embarrassed by their sneezes, or do they just not really care? Do they apologize after sneezing? Do they say “sorry!” or “excuse me!” or anything like that? If they’re embarrassed about it, why?
When he’s in public and sneezes, he would just quietly mutter “Sorry” or something like that. I don’t think he would be embarrassed per say, Yoongi thinks of sneezing as a minor inconvenience. With the members he just sneezes and that’s that.

Jimin’s sneeze goes by unnoticed. He is a very sneezy person, so the members don’t think anything of it. Their movie night continues.
After a few minutes, Jimin’s nose starts itching once again.
“hH! Hah’atsh!!”
“Jimin-ah, are you okay? You seem to be sneezing more than usual,” Namjoon states.
“Yeah, I think so, maybe I just caught a cold or something,” Jimin replied.
“Do you need to sleep?” Yoongi asks as Taehyung runs to grab a box of tissues for Jimin’s further sneezes.
“N- hih!! Ng’chh! Ndo”
“Okay guys, we are ending our movie night and taking care of Jimin,” Jin says as he passes Jimin the tissue box.

😳: Are they embarrassed by their sneezes, or do they just not really care? Do they apologize after sneezing? Do they say “sorry!” or “excuse me!” or anything like that? If they’re embarrassed about it, why?
I don’t think Hoseok would be embarrassed. He is averagely sneezy, so if he sneezes in public he probably wouldn’t say anything.

I think Hobi’s sneezes are fairly wet, not too wet. His sneezes do have an average amount of spray. For covering, he usually uses his hand often, or sometimes his elbow. He doesn’t typically sniffle too much, unless allergies are bugging his nose.

Heh..” Jungkook holds his hand up to his face in anticipation for a sneeze. “Hh,” it still doesn’t come out.
Taehyung walks in and stares at him, “Gguk-ah? What...what are you doing?” he says in confusion.
“I-I hahh-hH have to snehh-!” Jungkook tries to speak, but obviously can’t as Taehyung interrupts.
“Yeah, you have to sneeze, I get it; stop talking,” Taehyung says in amusement.
Jungkook, still not being able to sneeze, lays down on the bed he’s sitting on aggressively in annoyance.
“Need help?” Taehyung asks, seeing the younger member look so defeated.
Jungkook merely nodded as Taehyung walked over and flicked his nose lightly.
Jungkook’s nose, which literally was that sensitive, was set off by that little flick.
“Hh’ESSH’hiu! Eh’tch! Finally, I’m freeee!” Jungkook said happily.
“Your pre-sneeze face looks so funny. Wanna play a game in the living room?” Taehyung asks innocently.
“Yeah!” Jungkook replies happily as they run off to the living room.

👃: In general, how sensitive is their nose? Can something like a certain flower or smell make them sneeze even if they’re not allergic to it? Do they sneeze a lot on average, or not very much? Does their nose twitch a lot, or barely ever at all?
J-hope is sensitive, but not as sensitive as Jungkook or Jimin. I headcannon that he is sensitive to smells, i.e. perfume, candles, just scents like that. J-hope sneezes like once or twice a day, once again not too much. His nose wouldn’t twitch per say, but he would maybe scrunch it.
📝: Quick! Come up with a scenario for them! It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just something you think would be cute or something you’d like to see with them!
J-hope being allergic to a new hair-dye during an MV shoot, so he would have to deal with it until the shooting ends!

Summary: Jungkook gets a cold by playing in the rain with Bam. Snz, cold
Jungkook is very stubborn, everyone probably knows that. His case of stubbornness this time has to do with him being so stubborn he wouldn’t go inside during the rain while he was playing with Bam. Jungkook is sick. And he won’t accept it.
Jungkook woke up with his head throbbing. As he walked to the bathroom, he saw his reddening nose, pink, flushed cheeks, and tired-looking eyes. Jungkook merely dismissed it as weather change, since it just went from winter to spring. Today, he was looking forward to doing a live with Army. He would then go to his girlfriend, Y/N’s house and hang out with her.
Jungkook got to his studio. As he walked in the room, he sneezed, “Hh’eshiu!!” once, “Tch’ehh!” twice, and set the live up.
Y/N heard her phone beep and turned her phone to see that Jungkook was doing a live on Weverse. She opened it and started watching her boyfriend. She noticed Jungkook’s feverish-looking face and the minor sense of congestion in his voice.
Jungkook sniffled wetly and read, “ ‘Are you doing okay?’ Oh yeah, I’m fine. I think that maybe my rhinitis is getting to me now that spring is here.”
Y/N looked at him through the screen looking skeptical. “Does he even know that he’s probably sick, or is he just lying?”, she wondered to herself out.
“HaH’tCHU! Hheshuh!!” Jungkook sneezed with his hand over his face. The comments flooded with messages of “Bless You” and all the different responses to a sneeze.
“Ah, thank you- Snff” he tried using English to reassure the international Army.
Y/N, having dated Jungkook for 3 years, knows the difference between his sick sneezes and allergic sneezes. She knew that he was definitely sick.
Jungkook has now finally realized he was sick. He wasn’t going to admit it though. The live has been going on for about an hour, and his sore throat was starting to hurt even worse from talking too much. He was going to end the live a little bit earlier than he was planning to just rest at Y/N’s house.
Y/N, getting concerned for Jungkook’s health, had left her house during the live to drive to his studio. Just as Jungkook had ended it, she opened the door.
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” Jungkook asked in confusion.
“What do you think? You’re so obviously sick, I'm concerned about your health!” Y/N lightly scolded with her hands on her hips.
“Hih’chk- hah’isshiu! Y/N, this is so annoyinggg” he complained.
“Yeah, I know. Come on, baby, I’ll take you back to my house,” Y/N said comfortingly as she dragged him outside and drove him to her house.
He laid down on her bed and sniffled.
“You’re like an overgrown baby when you’re sick” Y/N said to him with a chuckle.
Jungkook muffled 3 messy, wet sneezes into his hands and said, “Y/N, you’re mean.”
“Yes, but you are my baby. I’m gonna get a tissue box,” Y/N said, eying the snot all over his face. She came back, took a tissue, and wiped his face.
“Thanks, cuddles?” Jungkook asked (almost begged) with his big, doe-like eyes.
“What if I get sick?” Y/N teased.
“Pleaseee,”
“I’m just kidding, of course, baby.”

Just for fun, I'm gonna do an in-depth (not really) analysis on both of these clips.
Clip 1: I mean, by the way he moves out of the mic and the face expression, it kind of looks like he is coughing, but the sound afterwards sounds like a sneeze. I am like 65% sure it's a sneeze, but I still doubt it.
Clip 2: He brings his elbow up, I don't really think if he was up there by himself that he would cough into his elbow. Also, if you look at the screen behind Yoongi, you can see his face expression. Also the amount of force he put into his elbow is not too much, like the soft sneeze we heard from him before. I am not sure what is it.
I have no idea why I am so invested in this lmao.

The Ice Rink

Summary: Jin has to film a Run BTS episode while sick. Fever, snz
When Jin woke up with a very sore throat the day before, he knew something was up. Most of the time when his throat slightly hurt after he woke up, it was just because of the dehydration during the sleep. So he drank a ton of water and hoped the annoying pain would go away. But after 5 hours, his head started to slightly throb.
Seokjin wasn’t as stubborn as the Maknaes, he knew he was sick. He put his hand to his face to feel the temperature, even though most of the time you can’t feel it yourself. This time he could. He layed back on his bed and groaned. Tomorrow he would have to film a Run BTS episode. And it was at an ice rink out of all places. He tried all the home remedies he could think of, tea, cough drops, fever patches, rest. None of it worked. As long as he didn’t alarm the younger members, then he would be fine.
But someone noticed. Namjoon obviously saw the fact that Seokjin was in his room for a while trying to sleep for 3 hours and making himself tea. He dragged Hoseok away from the other members into a quiet, secluded hallway.
“Joon-ah? What’s the matter?”
“Well...have you seen Jin-Hyung today?” Namjoon asked him, trying to ease into the subject.
“Actually...no I haven’t,” the older rapper admitted, trying to think of what the leader was trying to say.
“I think that he’s sick,”
“What makes you think that?” Hobi asked, not doubting him, but trying to see if he’s right.
“He has been in his room almost all day trying to sleep. I saw it. And he came out for a little bit and made himself tea. Hyung barely enjoys tea,” Namjoon stated. That was all the proof he had so far, but that was enough for Hoseok.
“Huh, maybe you’re right. Don’t talk to him about it though. Let’s just keep it to ourselves and watch over him, okay?”
“Sure,”
The next day, Jin got somehow...worse. Now, along with the headache and the sore throat, his nose was running and slightly itchy.
He woke up and immediately had to sneeze, “Hh’KNT’shh-hH! Ngt’shhu!” He sneezed openly in front of him and the small crack in the window’s sunlight illuminated the spray.
He blew his nose in the bathroom and cringed at the sound and how much mess there was. He washed all the mucus off his face. And tried the fever patch again, hiding it underneath his long bangs. He planned to take it off as soon as they left the house.
As Jin tiredly walked into the kitchen. The younger ones were up and already full of energy, like Jin would sometimes be.
“Hey uh, Jin-Hyung. Are you doing okay? You seem a little bit tired?” Namjoon tried to ask non-suspiciously. Hoseok face-palmed as that was a very dumb thing to do.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m okay. I just couldn’t...sleep well,” Jin tried to think of a plausible lie and he thought it seemed believable, at least it did to the other members. Namjoon and Hoseok...not so much.
“Oh...okay,”
Unknown to the others, RM and j-hope packed extra things for him, just in case. Seokjin put on a light jacket so he wasn’t cold, but not too hot to aggravate his fever even more. And a scarf for his nose.
After they left and were in the car, Jin sat next to Jimin. Unfortunately for him, a tiny, little itch started in his nose. It was always like that. It would be small, and eventually build-up to a sneeze. And so it did.
“H’iisshu! H’DDDSHHu!” That last sneezes was harsh, it aggravated his throat even more and he involuntarily whimpered.
“Oh jeez Hyung, are you alright?” Jimin asked. He had not realized that Jin was probably sick, but it wasn’t his fault. The older ones were more attentive than him and the other younger members.
Hoseok and Namjoon glanced at each other and shared a telepathic message, “He’s getting worse.”
They arrived at the ice rink and as soon as Jin stepped in, the cold, icy air made his nose turn a darker shade of pink and run. He sniffled and wiped his nose with the scarf.
As they started filming, Seokjin tried his best to act like he normally does, all happy and goofy. But it was hard and took up all his energy. He sneezed only twice (thank god) and they were both off-camera and muffled into his scarf. But now the rest of the members were suspicious of him and also figured out he was sick. The filming finally ended, and they all got in the car, Jin being even more tired than he was earlier. He was just glad that it was finally over and he could rest.
Now in the car, he was sitting next to Taehyung this time, who could feel his entire body heat more warm than usual, especially after they just left an ice rink. He put his hand on his face and exclaimed, “You’re so hot!” in surprise at the temperature.
“I know,” Jin said with a smirk on his face, trying to lighten the mood.
“Hyung...you know what I mean,”
They all arrived home and Seokjin collapsed on his bed, dead tired. Hoseok walked in and put another fever patch on him and made another cup of tea to place on his bedside table.
Jin woke up to, “Heh’kshuu! Huh’tchu! Eh’sshu!” 3 sneezes and flopped back down onto his bed in annoyance. He hated being sick. He saw the fact that there was a fever patch on his head that he had not put on, strange. He also saw the cup of tea next to his bed, in which he was very appreciative about. He drank the tea all in one right there and it made his throat feel so good. He mentally said thank you to all the members and went back to sleep.

Summary: Jungkook works at a hair salon, despite his sensitive nose. Snz, perfume sensitivity, implied romantic relationships
This was one of the most disastrous situations that (almost) happened. But luckily, Jungkook had his secret crush best friend, Kim Taehyung, to help him get through it.
One thing you should know about Jungkook is that his nose is sensitive to a lot of things. On top of his rhinitis, when it comes to perfume, strong scents don’t exactly agree with him. And working at a hair salon did not help it. But he liked his job, so he had to deal with it.
And one day an especially cute-looking customer came in. He had dark brown, straight, and pretty long hair. Maybe he was gonna get a haircut. He sat down on the waiting chairs.
Since Jungkook was free, he shouted, “Open!” and set up his station as the alluring stranger walked over and sat in the chair.
“So what will it be?” Jungkook asked. As soon as the man sat down, his nose started tingling. He was wearing very strong cologne. He knew he was gonna start sneezing soon.
“Just a trim. I thought my hair was getting a bit long, so I decided to get it cut a little bit,” the man’s voice was extremely deep and velvety. It gave Jungkook unwanted butterflies in his stomach.
“Okay then, don’t mind me asking, but what’s your name?” Jungkook asked curiously. The tingle in his nose had become an itch, and he definitely could not sneeze during the haircut and mess it up. The usual dizziness starts to kick in.
“Oh my name is Kim Taehyung, yours?” he politely stated.
Kim Taehyung. He stored the name is his memory and mouthed the name so he wouldn’t forget it. “I’m Jeon Jung- Jung...hH-!” his breath hitches in the middle of his sentence. Why does it always happen like this? “Hh’tsshu! Ah’ktchh! hih! And, it’s gone. Sorry. I’m Jeon Jeongguk.”
Taehyung, surprised by the outburst of sneezing, said “Bless you. Are you sick?”.
“Ndo -snff-. I’m just sensitive to scents and all that. One second,” Jungkook walks to the front desk and grabs his mask that he puts there everyday. He was hoping it would help his nose a little bit.
The scent of the clean mask somehow coerced another sneeze out of him as his hand automatically moved to his mouth and he bent down at his waist.
Taehyung blesses him once more as Jungkook puts his gloves on, picks up his scissors, and starts to cut his hair.
As he worked, the two men talked and learned more about each other. They were both about a year or two apart in age, and Taehyung worked as a counselor at an elementary school.
About half way through, Jungkook felt like he had to sneeze again. He immediately put his scissors down, “Wait- Hh’TCH-eh! Ugh, sorry.” He picked up his scissors and started again.
“That was a weird one,” Taehyung said with a chuckle.
Jungkook could only blush discreetly in embarrassment (or maybe something else…?) at the man’s comment. Not knowing what to say, he just nervously laughed.
Despite the sneezing every few minutes, the two talked to each other and got along surprisingly well. They exchanged numbers and promised to talk again and hang out. And they did. They became extremely close friends.
On this specific day, Jungkook and Taehyung scheduled to have dinner together at a place after Jungkook’s shift, and Jungkook told him he could come hang out with him at the salon 30 minutes before he left. Of course, Taehyung agreed and got there 15 minutes earlier than the promised time.
The two boys talked and enjoyed themselves like they normally do. Then, a woman walked in. Jungkook’s nose immediately had that all too familiar itch when she walked by and sat down. There were no other customers in the building, since they were about to close in 30 minutes. But Jungkook had a job to do, so he got up and started to set up his station.
He shouted, “Open!” and the women walked up to him and sat in the chair. The tickle intensified. Jungkook, being stubborn, didn't think he would need his mask, so he didn’t put it on yet.
Jungkook asked her what she needed and she had said it was her first date with her husband after their marriage, so she wanted to look nice. Jungkook nodded and she showed him what kind of hairstyle she wanted on her phone. It wasn’t too complicated, and Jungkook could do it within the time he had left on his shift, so he agreed.
Jungkook began to cut a little bit around the edges, he was trying his best to make it look good. After that, he began to style.
The woman was wearing very strong perfume with a nice, floral scent. It was nice, but not when it made Jungkook’s nose feel like it was on fire. He needed to sneeze now. But he can’t, his hands were in the middle of something and if he moved away, he would mess it up. Jungkook was attempting to hold it back. He didn’t breath his nose and pressed his tongue against the roof of his mouth, unfortunately nothing worked
Jungkook tried to warn her, “M-Ma’am, I...I have to-” but it was too late. “H’ishhu! HAH’sshu!” he slowly opened his eyes to see the horror that had happened, but he saw a tissue pressed to his face. Jungkook turned his head and saw that Taehyung was standing right next to him. Taehyung had removed the tissue and threw it away.
“Tae, what…?”
“Heh, I saw that you were kind of struggling, so I thought I could help,” Taehyung replied with a smile.
“Oh my god, thank you so much,” Jungkook was so grateful to his friend that he had thought to help him, but he also thought about how gross it must be for him to do that. He blushed slightly at the thought.
Jungkook had reached a point where he could move his hands away from the woman’s hair, so he said, “I’ll be right back, sorry” and went to go get his mask before more disaster strikes. The lady nodded as he put the mask over his face. Sweet relief. He walked back and started on her hair, almost done.
Once Jungkook had finished, he sighed in relief and asked her if she had liked it. As a mixed-blessing, the woman said she loved it and gave him a hug, resulting in 3 more sneezes when she pulled away. Luckily, his shift was done. He could leave work and go hang out with his friend.
He took off his mask, “Eh’shiew! Hah’kshhu!” which somehow triggered two more sneezes.
“You truly are a sneezy person, huh, Gguk-ah,” Taehyung said cheekily,
“Hey! It’s not funny, you saw what could have happened there!” he retorted back.
“Yeah, but I was here to save you this time. Imagine if you were sick,” Taehyung said with a laugh.
Jungkook blushed once more. This man would really be the death of him, in a good way.
