"did I wake you up? sorry, I'll call you back in a little bit-" his rushed ramble gets cut short when you shake your head, "don't worry about it, I'm trying to wake up earlier nowadays. you know what they say, the early bird gets the worm." mark nods, then gasps dramatically, "wait, are you calling me a worm?" you giggle, sitting up in your bed and stretching your arms out. "yeah, you're my worm, baby." he whined when you said that, which made you laugh even harder. the air became quiet for a moment, before you looked at him earnestly through the phone screen and said, "you're the only worm I would ever wake up early for."
