Don’t automatically assume the worst in ANY situation. You never know what either side is going through.

Even the side that made a mistake. Don’t automatically assume they’re evil or bad or anything like that. Hell, we don’t even automatically assume that about our ex-abusers, because time moves on and people ARE capable of change.

We’re all human. We make mistakes. Things happen. We learn. We grow.

As long as those mistakes are learned from, you’re ok. Learn from and fix your mistakes.

It’s ok.

You don’t have to be perfect.
