How do people draw with screen tablets…like ipads and tablets you can see the drawing on…are you guys wizards…

my first attempt at digital art was my iphone 6s with my fingers when i was 16
and i do use an ipad but not for art and only for studying reasons
but…the surface is so shiny…
i still can’t get a hang of how slippery it is
and no hot keys…how do they live with just finger gestures…
