Son of Hephaestus

18 years old

Head of the Hephaestus cabin

Has been at camp for 7 years

Mainly uses a sword as his weapon, prefers fighting up close

Goes on a lot of quests

Has fully mastered the volcano training wall

Usually the one who shows younger campers around and trains them

Has a bunch of scars

Bonus:

Old quest team was Sugawara and Asahi, after Asahi left it became Sugawara and Tanaka

Prefers close range fighting over long range

Forces Suga to help him train the younger kids, especially in archery

Simultaneously everyone's favorite and least favorite older camper

Plans on going to New Rome University

Son of Aphrodite

18 years old

Head of the Aphrodite cabin

Has been at camp for 7 years, but got there a little earlier than Daichi

Uses a bow and arrow

Can charmspeak, but he doesn't use it often and isn't the best at it

Hates quests so much

Oikawa is also in the Aphrodite cabin (sorry to any Sugawa shippers), and they almost kill each other every two seconds

Bonus:

Prefers long range fighting over close range

Helps out in the infirmary sometimes

Hates the Aphrodite kid stereotypes and will punch anyone in the face who compares him to them

Younger campers love him, older campers are afraid of him

Azumane Asahi: Image Text:

Son of Ares

18 years old

Has been at camp 7 years

Used to go on quests with Daichi and Suga

Uses a spear

Very similar to Frank Zhang in personality and views of his godly parent

Was head of his cabin, left camp, then became head again

Hates his whole cabin (not really he loves them)

Bonus:

Got into an arguement with Nishinoya over how the gods treated demigods during the war with Kronos. Noya said he partially sided with Kronos's army, and Asahi thought he was nuts for that. They both ended up leaving camp, Asahi going to mortal school. He didn't know where Noya was.

He was convinced by Hinata to come back for the Battle of Manhattan, and almost lost his mind when he realized Noya was back on CHB's side and not with Kronos

Is the most mature of the Ares cabin

Yuu Nishinoya: Image Text:

Son of Hermes

17 years old

Would've been at camp for 7 years, but spent a year away from camp (no one knows where he was except Asahi)

Uses knives typically

Was head of his cabin, got fired

Huge trouble maker, lives up to Herme's kid reputation

Pranks everyone, especially new campers

Bonus:

After an argument with Asahi, he went to join Kronos's army, but decided not to after all

Spent the rest of that year training before going back to camp and helping them win the Battle of Manhattan

Smooths things over with Asahi, but never tells anyone else that he was planning on joining Kronos

Son of Hades

15 years old

Has been at camp for 2 years, but spent a lot of his first year on a quest or in the underworld

Animals don't like him because he's a Hades kid

Weapon is a bow, Suga was his mentor

Basically Nico Di Angelo, but taller and less emo

Ghost king

Only person in his cabin

Bonus:

Went to Camp Jupiter for a while before coming to Camp Half-Blood

Earned the title Ghost King while at SPQR

Ends up going on a lot of quests with Hinata

Hinata Shoyo: Image Text:

Son of Zeus...currently unclaimed

15 years olf

Has been at camp for 1 year

Uses knives, mentored by Noya

Spends every second training, always in training clothes

Once he's claimed, he instantly gets sent on a quest with Kageyama

Gets claimed after saving someone from a monster by using his powers

Jumps super high with wind powers

Bonus:

Gains massive control of his powers later on, but has to spend a lot of time training them

Tsukishima Kei: Image Text:

Son of Athena

15 years old

Has been at camp for 2 years

Weapon is a sword, but he's versatile

Got claimed after "erm, actually"-ing everyone enough for them to just know

Skips training and thinks he's too good to train with others

Won't spar with anyone

Pretends he's not sweating his ass off in that sweater

Bonus:

Goes to mortal university after turning 18, but comes back to camp every once in a while

Wants to go to Camp Jupiter very badly, but doesn't want to leave Yamaguchi (he will never admit this)

Yamaguchi Tadashi: Image Text:

Son of Demeter

15 years old

Has been at camp for 2 years

Uses a sword, or just his kinda weak plan powers

Also skips training to look cool, but trains in secret. Usually wearing training clothes under his casuals

The only person keeping the strawberry field alive

Learns to use his powers very well later

Bonus:

I picked Demeter to be his godly parent because 1.) yall remember 2020 where everyone drew him in that fucking strawberry dress, and 2.) I saw a post somewhere about how Demeter's children often let personal relationships cloud their judgement (COUGH COUGH TSUKI)

Anyways, hope yall enjoyed my inane rambling. I'll never shut up about this AU, it plauges me. I thought it up while making a bagel, Haikyuu was on the TV and there was a Percy Jackson book in front of me. I might make more stuff from this because I’m mentally ill about it

Inhabits Cabin 10 with his 12 sisters

True embodiment of beauty, charm, and elegance

Devilishly handsome and he knows it

Not afraid to flaunt it and use his charm to his advantage

Enjoys a casual indulgence in gossip with his sisters

But say a word about his friends and he’ll nip it before it spreads

Scarily good at manipulation; not afraid to drop a bully down a peg or two

Knows everyone’s dirty little secrets; will use them against you if necessary

Constantly trying to set his friends up, despite protest

Mean flirt; not afraid of PDA; the man loves love

Incredible hype man; great at building other’s self esteem

The man to go to for a confidence boost; will list off tons of great things about you

Min Yoongi ~ Son of Hypnos

Inhabits Cabin 15 with his two brothers

This boy LIVES for sleep

Class? Napping. Training? Napping. Capture the flag? Find him asleep in some tree or something.

Will lay down in the middle of a field and take a nap, try him.

Incredibly intuitive, like, so in-tune it’s scary sometimes

Loves helping other campers with any sleep related issues (bye insomnia)

Want to sit around for a few hours and interpret your dreams? Find Yoongi

Huge softie, sings his closest friends lullabies when they can’t sleep

Will sacrifice his own sleep for a friend in need

Pretty introverted; will put instructors to sleep to get out of class

Him and his siblings don’t hang out much

But he does make mixtapes for them and leaves them on their beds

Best. Sleep. Playlists. EVER.

Super chill and calm; doesn’t get super into training or missions

BUT can definitely kick ass when he’s counted on

Will defend his friends with everything he’s got

Clumsiest Athena kid to ever grace this Earth, let me tell you

Like, drops his arrow during target practice, bends over, and dumps his entire quiver on the ground-clumsy

Natural born leader; wise as hell

Intimidating at first, then you realize he’s an actual marshmallow

Fiercely loyal friend and ally

Intelligent; can answer a question correctly before the instructor finishes it

Can go on and on about any topic under the sun

Find him sitting in the bay window of his cabin, nestled by books, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose

Mission/Capture-the-flag time? Everyone wants to be on his team

What he lacks in grace he makes up for in strategy

Has a plan, back-up plan, and back-up back-up plan

Cool and calculated; knows how to use his weaknesses to his advantage

Top notch bet-maker

Places bets on Jungkook’s fights and always walks away with the pot

Why do other campers even try anymore?

Loves to bet against his siblings (his only real competition)

Not just a show boat; knows his way around hand to hand combat

Ace with a javelin

Places bets on missions and capture the flag

Constantly scolded by Chiron for taking the other campers money

Comes off as self-centered, but a real down-to-Earth guy if you really look

Incredibly timid at first glance

Nobody believed he was an Apollo kid at first

Not as immediately extroverted as his siblings, thus the confusion

Get to know him though, and he really is a chip off the old block

Flamboyant and charming as hell

Everyone loves him (key word: EVERYONE)

Actually mistaken for an Aphrodite kid more than once

Some campers still don’t believe him

One word to describe him: Grace

Nimble, swift, elegant- on and off the field

It’s like his bow is an extension of himself

Watching him train is like watching art come to life

King of shenanigans

Hermes kid through and through

Always pulling pranks on anyone and everyone

Seriously, NO ONE IS SAFE

Lighthearted and easy to entertain

While Tae is easy to amuse, boredom means entering the danger zone

Keep him entertained at all costs, we do not need another slime explosion in the Aphrodite cabin!

Put him and his siblings together and it’s a tornado of chaos

Between pranks, play fights, and downright torture, it’s a wonder the Hermès kids are still alive

And Gods help those in the cabin who aren’t Hermès kids

The Hermès cabin is always filled with the sound of laughter (and sometimes screaming)

Tae can seem annoying sometimes (especially to Ares and Athena kids)

But DAMN is that smile contagious, you can’t help but love him

Antagonizes all the creatures; Chiron swears a Pegasus will just drop him one day, mid-flight if he doesn’t quit pulling their feathers

PROLOGUE

Camp Half-Blood, famous training grounds of Greek demigods far and wide. Once home to the Son of Poseidon, you may have heard of him, he’s still a pretty big deal around here. It’s said to be the safest place for demigod children of the Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses, and it’s a pretty interesting place to be. I mean, it’s not like I have any other choice, I’ve been here since my dad died, and that was 6 years ago.

Like many others before me, however, I’ve made it my home. A weird kind of home where Chiron is constantly yelling at the ‘rebellious youths’ and Mr. D couldn’t really give a care, oh, and we sword fight for fun, but a home nonetheless. Being the only one in Cabin 20 over the year can be kind of lonely; my siblings all go home at the end of summer, but the lonely lifestyle is one I, as a daughter of Hecate, have come quite accustomed to. I guess I have Aster, my familiar to talk to, but I don’t think a sarcastic black cat is the best company for a 22 year old. And you may be thinking, “Why don’t you leave camp and start your own life?,” and to that I say...this is all I’ve ever really known.

Before my dad passed, I’d come to camp every summer. I met my siblings my second one. Hecate kids are hard to come by apparently, but I’m glad they showed up. See, a lot of the cabins have a sort of prejudice against other cabins. The Hades cabin, for example, though uninhabited, is constantly scorned under bated breath. My cabin falls under the same sort of scrutiny. It all comes down to fear in the end. My siblings and I posses magical abilities like our mother and that power is what intimidates and scares other campers. So, instead of trying to get to know us, they shut us out. Can’t say I’m not surprised, though. In high school, the ‘weirdos’ were always outcast, why should a camp full of demigods be any different?

The stares and whispers, unnerving at first, are now just a tolerable nuisance. I live my life here the best way I can, and if that means having my cat as my only friend, then so be it. Besides, I’ve got my plate full with training anyways. Between combat, lessons, and individual magic studies, I don’t have the time for friends as it seems. After all, I’ve got to make Mom and Dad proud.

Well, I’d write more, but there really isn’t all that much left to say. Besides, Chiron asked me to help him hang the ‘Welcome’ banners for the start of the summer, and if I keep him waiting any longer, he might demote me from favorite. I know this isn’t going to be seen by anyone and now that I’ve cleared that up I feel kind of dumb writing this all in the first place. Oh well.

P.S. I don’t know if it’s ‘witch’s’ intuition or just me being a little paranoid, but I feel like something big is going to happen this summer. I’m not quite sure what, I’m still working on my premonition skills, but it feels almost life changing, if that makes any sense. I think, well, I hope, it’s something wonderful, but who really knows. Guess I’ll have to wait and see...

This is a new fanfic idea I’ve been mulling over in my head for a while now. I don’t know how many chapters it will be yet, or what the posting schedule will look like, because as of right now I’m just kind of winging it and taking my time. If I figure out some type of schedule I’ll post it and link it in this prologue and my Master List. If anyone wants, I can try a tag list, just let me know.
