Writing down some possible found family stories that I could explore more later but can’t rn:

Boy who lost his family at a relatively young age who was then placed in the care of a vampire, werewolf, or similar monster. The two consider each other brothers.

Pack of soldiers who consider each other siblings, set from the perspective of a young woman who was raised by multiple of them and now helps to raise some of the younger ones while also helping to balance duties of being an active soldier (possibly from what is considered to be a special rank of soldier).

Child who runs away from an abusive family and ends up living in a misfit neighborhood in a house with around 5-10 other people (it changes depending on the day), most of whom are in their twenties and work together to make ends meet.
