So I'm curious to know: what kind of horrors has your version of Dr. Heartfelt experienced? And how did he become so fearless?

Essentially, he has seen things that challenged conventional medical knowledge or hideous creatures in general

One in particular he brings up so people don’t question why he’s so calm (a werezombie thing. It’s just as horrible as you might expect) or generally question him

Because of all the creatures he’s cared for and examined, he doesn’t really get scared. Except around corpses, those scare him for reasons unrelated to Skin-Taker.

He’s got his own mental health problems he’s just ignoring by helping everyone else and is hanging on by a thread so I wouldn’t call him fearless

But he will look Cthulhu dead in the eyes and stare blankly because he doesn’t fear him, he’s just a strange merman in his head (kinda)
