Headcanon: Being the firstborn son of Robert Baratheon and Cersei Lannister and marrying the daughters of prominent House's

Baratheon side of the family:

• You were born during the biggest storm recorded in Westeros

• When you was born your mother expected a Golden Lion and not a Black Stag

• When Robert Baratheon first saw you he was so proud

• It was a strange feeling have so many bastards but here's you, he's first trueborn

• He was especially proud of you when you raised your little fist and shouted at the storm in defiance

• "Like a true Baratheon" was what Robert Baratheon said

• You were named after your Grandfather (the late Lord Steffon Baratheon)

• As you grew you up you showed that you were the living embodiment of House Baratheon and Lannister

° You were strong, fierce, cunning, intelligent, honourable (to a certain extent) and you were such a charmer

• Your uncles Stannis and Renly loved in their own ways

° but you preferred your Uncle Stannis over Uncle Renly

• You loved your cousin Shireen and demanded that brought to King's Landing more often or you will go to Dragon's Stone

• "She is the Princess Shireen of House Baratheon" was your words

Lannister side of the Family:

• When Tywin Lannister first met you he was surprised and pleased

° That a child as young as you were showed more promise that most

• Tywin saw hope in his Lannister Legacy (ignoring the fact that you are a Baratheon)

• Tyrion loved you, he encouraged your learning mind and your playful side too

• Jamie loved you, he encouraged your learning mind too but more in swordsmanship rather than books

Baratheon side of the family:

• When Joffrey Baratheon was born you were happy because what singular child didn't want to have a brother/sister

• You were Joffrey's role model and wherever you were, Joffrey was nearby like a shadow

• When Myrcella Baratheon was born you were very happy

• "I have a little sister!"

• Same when Tommen was born

• Robert and Cersei was proud of how easily you stepped into the role of Big Brother

Authors note:

Which isn't easy because you can't be taught what it means to be a big brother/sister or how to be a big brother/sister

Some people excel at it

Some don't

Others are neither good or bad at it

Disclaimer: I'm not a big brother I'm the second youngest in my family with my twin sister being the youngest (I was born a minute early through C-section due to complications.

Anyway back to it.)

• However your relationship with Joffrey soured as you grew concerned by his actions

° Especially around Myrcella and Tommen

When the 'Cat Incident' happened:

• Cersei was shocked, disgusted and mortified

• Robert was shocked, disgusted and well... Baratheon Word's anyone?

• Tywin, Jamie, Tyrion, Stannis and Renly was similarly

• But Myrcella was crying (don't remember if this is lore or not but anyway) you had made her promise that you would get her a Kitten (from that pregnant cat in the Kitchen) if she promised to raise it and look after it herself (giving her some responsibility)

• And your reaction? Well...

° You drove over the table at him

• It took Robert, Jamie, Stannis AND Tywin to drag off your brother and you were fuming warning him never to do that again

After the 'Cat incident happened:

• Your relationship with Joffrey was over

• Myrcella loved you more and was literally your shadow not that you minded at all afterwards

• Cersei wanted you punished (how dare you lay a hand on her precious little lion but how proud she was of how much you clearly cared about your little sister)

• Robert said no because he was not going to punish his son for something that he would've done (if you hadn't beaten him to it)

• Tywin suggested that you be fostered under him to give you and Joffrey space and let the tension settle down

• Robert and Cersei was against this (Robert wanted you fostered with Ned or even Stannis and Cersei didn't want any of her children taken from her 🙄)

• Tyrion suggested (you supported it) that you be fostered at Casterly Rock, Dragon Stone, High Garden and Winterfell that way everyone wins (High Garden was your idea)

Greyjoy Rebellion:

• Over the next few years you spent your time at Casterly Rock learning from Tywin Lannister

• Tywin taught you how to play the 'Great Game'

• what you needed to learn for when you became King

• Military Strategy and Naval Strategy

° Basically he honed you into a very sharp minded individual and also honed you into a very capable swordsman

• When the Ironborn rebelled your father called the Banners (That means EVERYONE from The North to Dorne in case you don't know)

• You stayed at Casterly Rock

• You ordered the Lannister Fleet to be moved

° Claiming that the Ironborn strength is on the sea and what could be a better target than the ENTIRE Lannister Fleet anchored at Lannistport

• When the Ironborn raided Lannistport you took charge of the Defense leading young boys and old men

• The Ironborn were quickly repelled and you even managed to wound Victarion Greyjoy with a arrow to the knee

° There's a ballad about the Defence of Casterly Rock and the Bard makes you sound like some great legendary hero

• When news reached the Royal Army all the gathered Lords and Ladies were surprised

• "That's my boy!!" Was Robert's response (he's very proud of you)

• The Northern Lords are impressed, even GreatJon Umber (He's the one who got his fingers bitten off by Greywind)

• Stannis is proud of you

• Renly even made a joke about Victarion Greyjoy's wound

° Much to the displeasure of the gathered Lord's and Ladies

• Tywin was proud of you (He acknowledged the fact that if it wasn't for you the Lannister Fleet would have burned)

° Some ships were sacrificed but the rest were sailed away to safety before the Ironborn arrived

° The Old Lion owes you one

Post-Greyjoy Rebellion:

• You spent the rest of the Rebellion attending to the safety of not just The Westerlands but the rest of the Seven Kingdom's because war is a very lucrative time for Bandit's, Outlaw's and all manner of Criminal scum

° The Night's Watch benefitted from a large spike in new recruits

• Your mother, brothers and sister came to Casterly Rock for 'safety reasons'

° Myrcella and Tommen are thrilled to see their big brother that they forget all decorum (not sure if that's the word) and ran straight into your open arms

° Cersei is very proud of you and was also worried about you (checks you over for any injuries)

° Joffrey critiques you saying that if he was in your place he would've had that traitor's head on a spike by now (yeah fucking right, pretty sure it's hard to kill someone if you hide behind castle walls and later abandon them all together)

• Upon the return of the Royal Army

• Robert Baratheon embraced you (with a back-breaking bear hug) telling he is very proud of you

° Much to Joffrey's hatred and Jealousy

• Tywin Lannister publicly thanked you for defending The Westerlands in his name (You're going to get some very expensive name day presents 😁)

• You got to meet Lord Eddard Stark for the first time

° He liked you seeing more Baratheon in you than Lannister (take that however you wish)

• During the feast you spoke to many of the noble Lord's and Ladies and danced

• Robert (unsurprisingly drunk) loudly praised you for the hand you had in repelling the Ironborn from the Westerlands and ensuring that the King's peace was held in his absence

• He decreed that you shall be fostered under Lord Mace Tyrell (really under Lady Olenna let's be honest) after you spend time back in King's Landing

° It's a Royal Decree, you can't say no

Being Fostered with the Tyrells:

• You are fostered at High Garden where you are taught by Lady Olenna, and Lord High Tower (due to family relations between the two families)

• You befriend Garlan and Willas Tyrell becoming good friends with them

• You got along with Loras, you didn't like his arrogance

• And your relationship with Lady Margaery Tyrell... Well...

• You found her to be very beautiful

° You didn't like the Game player Margaery

° But over time you got to see the real Margaery Tyrell and fell in love with her

• Mace and Loras were happy because they would have a Tyrell on the Throne

• Lady Olenna, Willas and Garlan were happy because they knew that Margaery would be looked after and most of all happy and I mean actually happy not

• After a year at High Garden you are summoned back to King's Landing

Returning Home:

• You return home being treated like a great hero returning from some victorious campaign by the people of King's Landing

• When you reach Maegor's Keep you see your family's household all gathered waiting for your return

• You dismount your horse (a gift from Tywin) and greet your father first making a jib about him getting older and fatter than when you last saw him

° He got serious making everyone but you freeze in hesitation before bursting out laughing then embracing you in a strong hug

• Next you greet your mother who embraces you fondly happen to have her son back and remarks on just how big and handsome you have gotten

• Then it's was Joffrey's turn...

• When you stood in front of Myrcella and Tommen they both stood there unsure till you knelt and opened your arms and that was all they needed to leap into your arms

° It was a very touching moment *Author wipes away a tear*

• You stayed in King's Landing for a year before Lord Arryn suggested that the crown prince be fostered to the Martell's

° Robert and Cersei refused instantly one of the rare times that they agreed with each other

• You agreed pointing out that it would improve relations between the two House's (and your cousin's by right of blood)

• Eventually they both agreed

° Cersei was more difficult but you made her see it from your perspective (you're more politically astute)

• A raven from Sunspear arrived a week or so later agreeing to fostering you

Being Fostered with House Martell:

• Traveling to Sunspear was massively different than traveling to Casterly Rock and High Garden but then again Dorne is a desert after all

• Upon reaching the main keep you see the members of House Martell

° You see Prince Doran Martell

° Prince Oberyn Martell and his Paramour Elia Sand

° You see a very beautiful woman that has to be none other than Princess Arianne Martell

° You see a boy who is if you were to guess Prince Trystane (He looked bored)

° And then there was nine other girls who would be the Sand Snakes

° The Oldest (Obara Sand)

° The third oldest (Tyene Sand)

° The second oldest (Nymeria Sand)

° And finally the rest of the sand snakes are excited/awed to meet you (the innocence of a child 🙃)

• Your meeting would be better if you had brought something with you or should I say someone 😎

• You are taught Prince Doran

• Spar against Oberyn

• Spar against Obara and Nymeria

° Winning some, losing others

• Speaking to Arianne and Nymeria

• It becomes a common thing

• You fully enjoy your time in Dorne

Returning Home:

• Your family are happy to have you back

° More your father, mother, Myrcella and Tommen

° And Uncles too

• Your father tell you that he is very proud of you

° He says that you will be a better King then he was

• He tells you that he's happy with whatever you did in Dorne to bring the Dornish out of their isolation

• But now he wants to do what he's wanted to do and that is foster you with his brother in all but blood, Ned Stark

° You agree obviously

• You pack your things, say your good byes (Myrcella and Tommen don't cry as they are older and understand why you do these things though they still miss and always feel safer and more protected by Joffrey's cruelty

Being Fostered with House Stark:

• You knew the North was cold but by the fucking god's it's cold

• You were relieved when you finally reached Winterfell

• Riding into the courtyard you see the Stark Household gathered looking their best

• You see Lord Eddard Stark looking strong and stoic

• Next to him you see Lady Catelyn Stark looking just as strong and stoic as her husband but with more warmth

• you see hiding slightly behind her a child who's more a babe than a boy. Must be Rickon

• Next to Lord Stark you see his eldest son who if memory serves is named Robb in respect to your father

• Next to him must be the Lady Sansa you catch her eye and give her that roguish smile of yours

° Sansa blushes and shyly smiles back

• After her you see the other two of Lord Stark's children, Arya and Bran

• You dismount and walk over to Lord Stark and greet him fondly

• He welcomes you to Winterfell and remakes how much you grown since your first meeting after the Rebellion

• You make a joke saying: I should hope so Lord Stark after all I was ten and two

° He laughed at that (surprising some, like damn the Quiet Wolf laughing? Is the Wall still standing?)

• You spend your time learning about the North and all the different Houses from Lord Stark

° Maester Luwin teaches you about the Riverlands and other things to the best of his abilities

• You spar against Robb, Jon and Theon

° You bested them easily (after all you were trained by Ser Baristan Selmy, Ser Jamie Lannister, Willas and Garlan Tyrell and Oberyn Martell)

° You forge a friendship with Robb, Jon and Theon

• In regards to your relationship with Lady Sansa

° Believing these stories about Honourable Knights who protecting damsels in distress

° Of dashing Prince's

• You found this naivety dangerous and began chipping away at it

° Turning her into what a Lady of House Stark should be like

° Making her appreciate the North more and the men and women of the North

° Much to the eternal gratitude of Lord Stark

° With your help you improved the relationship between Sansa and Arya making them more like sister's

° Even the relationship between Sansa and Jon (much to the dissatisfaction of Lady Catelyn)

• You grow close to all the Stark's

° Ned and Cat see you as another son

° You, Robb, Jon and even Theon see each other as brother's in all but blood (one upping your father 🙃)

° Arya, Bran and Rickon see you as a big brother

° You train Arya how to wield a sword properly and you and Jon have needle forged for her

• Sansa has fallen in love with you and you fallen in love with her

° Her dirtiest fantasies are about her losing her virginity to you and other things

Other the years:

• You spend your time devided between King's Landing, High Garden, Sun Spear and Winterfell

• Eventually after so many years King Robert Baratheon First of His name decides it's time that he relinquishes the throne

• And so you are crowned the new King of Westeros

° But of course a King needs a Queen so you chose to marry the women you love

• And it was on that day that King Y/n Baratheon took Margaery Tyrell, Arianne Martell, Sansa Stark and Asha Greyjoy as you beloved brides to whom you will love from this day to your last day

It was no secret that amongst her siblings, Cersei always favoured you the most. You had similar personalities, and always seemed to get along the most, even as children. While she knew Jaime didn’t always agree with her on things, and her hatred for Tyrion was an obstacle in their relationship, she knew that you were the family member she could always rely on to have her back.
