Grumpus Headcanon: Claws
Some Headcanons about the different types of claws I gave them
Filbo - Normal painted claws that are easy to damage but are quite sharp. These claws retract under the skin of the grumpus.
Wambus - Long claws that are good for digging dirt. It may seem helpful but it can be an annoyance from time to time since he can accidentally scratch himself or other grumpuses. These claws retract halfway and can grow fast if left unchecked. ( he hates cutting his nails)
Beffica - Sharp and thin claws that can easily slice through hard materials like metal. these claws can also be an annoyance if she wants to scratch her fur. these claws cannot retract.
Gramble - Small and round claws that may not look harmful but they are enough to break through the skin underneath the fur. these claws can be seen through Gramble's fur since he plucked his fur out due to stress.
Triffany - slightly curled Claws are actually the bones that can break out from underneath the tip of her paws. these claws will retract once the skin heals and it slightly hurts.
Wiggle - Very short claws that are only visible due to them being painted green. These claws are harmless and will not hurt any Grump.
Chandlo - Long Like claws that are like wambus but he actually cuts them down or trims them so he doesn't hurt Snorpy. these claws however are not retractable.
Snorpy - Broken Sharp claws from biting them off due to stress. these claws hurt to retract due to the sharp edges around them.
Cromdo - Thick and curly like claws that are used for gripping onto walls or surfaces he can reach. These claws are hard to break but hard to retract back in.
Shelda - Very thin and easy fragile claws. They take a while to retract and She allows them to grow healthy.
Floofty - Long and very sharp painted claws that can dig through someones entire body. Floofty usually scratches at the table when working on something and they cant retract these claws.
Eggabell - short pink painted claws that can lightly scratch a grumpus. these claws can be retracted and she keeps them trimmed everyday.
Lizbert - Damaged and sharp claws from all the adventures and hunting she would do. She has broken a few nails or more but she is proud of it because it shows all her hard work.
Clumby - Sharp, thin, and thick claws that are enough to dig through her desk and everytime she wants the journalist to pay attention she grabs her chalkboard and scratches it a lot. She does not retract them.
Bronica - She doesn't use her claws often but her claws can break out from her paws. though since her claws are longer and more sharper than dull. it makes her bleed a bit.
Alegander - He doesn't have time to cut his claws and they have grown all the way down to his sides along with his messy fur. somebody give this man nail clippers.

Amandine (or Amandy for short) arrived on Snaktooth Island for an adventurous life.
She is best friends with Snorpy and gets along with everyone on the island. She would often visit Snorpy, usually with a gift in her hand. She absolutely adores Snorpy and tries her best to be there for him along with Chandlo. She happens to adore Gramble and Chandlo as well but sees Snorpy as a best friend. Beffica was a bit suspicious towards her at first, but slowly started liking her because Amandy would make her gifts.
She carries a satchel with her at all times. One time Beffica snooped in to see what is inside. To Beffica's dismay, It was just some sketchbooks, pencils, beads, strings, and a little first aid kit.
Her favorite bugsnaxs are Dr. Sodie, Baby Cakelegs, and Lovely Sweetieflies. There is this Baby Cakeleg that would occasionally go over to her whenever Amandy is in the barn. She is very sweet to Gramble's Kin (which is the reason why they get along so well) and care for them. She doesn't eat Bugsnax all that often. She only eats one or two if necessary. She mostly eat chocolate sauce. She happens to fear Scorpeppers and Scorpenyos due to those bugsnaxs throwing fire at everything they see.
The player would meet Amandy in Sugarpine Woods, where she is seen to be near the blocked entrance of Frosted Peeks staring up at the mountain. She actually lives with Snorpy and Chandlo, but she usually sleeps at the Watch Tower to give Snorpy and Chandlo their room. (Snorpy crushing on Chandlo is super duper obvious.)
Amandy can actually hunt her own snaxs due to watching Lizbert (before she went missing) and was given the supplies to catch them by Snorpy. She use to catch some for Snorpy and Chandlo to eat. After Buddy brings them back to Snaktooth, she doesn't really had a need to hunt them anymore. Snorpy and Buddy aren't very keen of letting her go alone due to how dangerous Snaktooth is. She does occasionally leave the town to explore, but comes back when Snorpy, Buddy, Gramble, or Chandlo calls for her. This will only happen after the Player gets Floofty and Shelda.
Amandy doesn't have her own hut. She actually lives with Gramble so she can help him around the barn. Her bed is upstairs near the staircase, but the player would occasionally find her sleeping in a hay bed. If the player gives the barn a Baby Cakelegs, The Baby Cakelegs would be seen sleeping next to Amandy if she sleeps on the hay bed.
Amandy sleeps around 10:30 p.m. and wakes up at 7 a.m. Her sleeping animation would be a bit like Snorpy's, facing up at the ceiling. If the player found her sleeping in the hay bed, her animation would be a bit like Filbo's, facing down with her head turned. Her hay bed sleeps usually happen around 2 p.m., and she wakes up at 4 p.m.
When Amandy wakes up at 7:00 a.m., she helps with Gramble around the barn til it hits 8:30 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., she will be seen in the mill hanging out with Snorpy. Once 11:00 a.m. happens, she starts hanging out with Chandlo by going with him on one of his runs. After a few laps, she will stop by the barn and bid farewell to Chandlo at 11:30 a.m. From 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., she will be seen helping around the barn til she falls asleep on a hay bed. After she wakes up at 4:00 p.m., Amandy will go upstairs and start crafting a few bracelets. Fun fact: Every grumpus has one or two bracelets hidden in their huts that match the color of the owner of whichever hut you go to. At 6:15 p.m., she will be seen walking around the town, greeting everyone she sees. Kinda like Filbo, but she actually makes more of the effort by greeting Snorpy as well. At 8:17 p.m., she gathers around the campfire with the others and waits it out til it is her time to go to sleep.
When Hensel and Chandlo are together they tend to hype each other up, not bad if it wasn’t accompanied by them attempting more and more stupid things. Their excitement bounces off each other like a computer screen saver. Snorpy is glad that Chandlo has fun but thinks that Hensel can be a bad influence even if unintentionally.
