yes it’s an extremely toxic celebrity system enforced by law
in universe
it’s also very much a criticism of modern day entitlement from the mass media of both ’official media’ fans and haters
the idea that they owe you every bit of their existence because of their job
is simply wrong
and it’s great that there has been
changing attitudes
but the way media is structured is still largely based on invading everything but of privacy and extracting all opinions of celebrities
